3 out of 5 eggsDoes the job and that's about it

Pros: Easy to mount and pair with phone
Does what it says it will do, allows hands free phone conversations using your vehicles speakers and allows you to stream music from your phone via bluetoooth to your vehicle's speaker system

Cons: You have to manually pair it with your phone each time you get in the vehicle by pushing the disc
Bluetooth audio quality is poor compared to inline audio and factory bluetooth audio connections in vehicles. Sounds OK overall, but is very weak on bass

Other Thoughts: A decent product overall, if it self paired automatically and if the bass was stronger when streaming music, it would get 5 eggs.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Nice

Pros: Sounds very clear. Very little loss in sound quality. If the device is positioned right, the mic works very well. Easy setup.

Cons: The lights do some funky things when trying to pair like stay red or not turn on at all even though it still works.
Don't like having t o pair manually, but that is not so major.
The sound from the other person when on the call is a but distorted. I have to turn it down from music to voice call. But it works so I am ok.

Other Thoughts: This deice is really nice. I am surprised of how well the music plays in it. I think the sound distortion is a mix between this device and my iPhone. Either way, very nice device. Gets a bit warm when long use.. I hope that is not an issue moving forward.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks well, sounds good, easy to use

Pros: Music sounds good, calls are clear, button pauses music and handles phone functions (answer/hang up).

Cons: You must push the button on the microphone when you get in the car in order to connect this device to the phone.

Other Thoughts: I haven't had the ground loop issue some have described. The device works as advertised.

4 out of 5 eggsHighly Recommended

Pros: Really easy setup, love the magnetic base it sits on. Small enough that I could still find a place to put it on my very strange console (Toyota Yaris). Music playback is pretty clear, especially for BT. Siri can hear me loud and clear on my iPhone 5.

Cons: Siri's voice sounds horribly muffled, but it still understandable.

Other Thoughts: At this price, with the additional end of year clearance, there's no reason to be on the fence.. just buy it already.

4 out of 5 eggsGets the job done

Pros: Pairs quickly & answers - before your call goes to voicemail
great sound quality for music playback and caller's voice
doesn't look ugly

Cons: Callers complain that they can't hear me that well. The microphone is on my dash directly in front of me, and should work. If I hold the "puck" directly in front of my face, it works better. But this is impractical.

The single button interface is horrible. One tap to answer/hangup/pause/unpause, 2 taps to skip, 2 second hold for voice activation, and 3 seconds or so for shutoff. Individual buttons would be much more useful. Secondly, it seems that all button presses are not compatible with my AT&T Galaxy SIII. Specifically, next track.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent

Pros: The best and easiest to installed in-car bluetooth. Music play well, call sounds great, people say they can hear me just fine on the other side.

Cons: Wish they have more buttons rather than just one that you have to tap multiple times or hold for 2-3 sec. (Hold for longer will turn it off, so it's kind of annoying, hard to determine when to release it)

last song (triple taps) and turning on voice command (hold for 2-3 sec) doesn't work on Galaxy S2

Other Thoughts: I was considering between this and the parrot, the parrot cost a little above a hundred + wiring harness + installation brings it to 200+, considering this thing deliver the same basic functionality for 1/4 the price, I'm happy.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it!

Pros: I love this thing. Great price from Newegg. I like that they give you some extra wires to make your connections. In order to rig it the way I wanted, I needed some extra length. It was very easy to set up and I had no problems pairing it with my android phone. The built in controls also work perfectly. Tap once to pause, twice to skip to the next track. I happen to like the fact that it does not automatically pair with your phone every time you start the car. It only takes a click of the button to pair, so its not that big of a deal. It works from a good distance too, I was in my garage, outside of the car skipping tracks and adjusting volume. One thing though. If you notice a static noise coming from your speakers when you use your normal connection, you will have the same issue with this thing. You will need to pick up a ground loop isolator to fix this problem. But once I installed the GLI, everything sounded perfect.

Cons: Kind of expensive overall, but Newegg had the best price by far.

5 out of 5 eggsHands-Free Bluetooth

Pros: Easy to install, very small and unobtrusive, simple to pair and operate. Great sound for music and callers. Once I activate bluetooth on my phone, they connect to each other and my phone starts playing music. It's pretty nice.

Cons: Plenty of wire. How is this a con? It's kinda ugly having all this wire, thin though it is, bundled up on the dash board. I understand and appreciate having as much wiring as there is, with the added option of adding more length if needed, but it's just too much for MY application.

Also, and maybe this is because of the vehicle and where the microphone is located, but callers say I sound echo-y, like I'm at the bottom of a well or something. Still working on solving that, but they CAN understand me, so it serves its purpose.

Other Thoughts: Bought this from a Newegg Marketplace seller: Cellular5Star. Excellent service! The item was here just a couple days after I ordered it.

3 out of 5 eggsGreat Audio out - Poor Mic

Pros: 1. Promising solution for those without OEM built in Bluetooth
2. Great audio clarity for music playback (as good as bluetooth can be)
3. Great audio clarity of other caller

Cons: 1. Poor Microphone performance (everyone complains that they can't hear me.
2. Doesn't auto-pair (you have to initiate pairing each time you return to the car by pressing the button)

Other Thoughts: Other reviews of this device claim that they get great microphone performance, others seem to have the same experience as I do. I've experimented with different placement of the button (microphone is integrated into the button) and my wife still complains that she can't understand anything that I'm saying.

If you're mainly going to use this for music playback, and the occasional phone call, then this should work fine. If your primary concern is making phone calls, then beware.

2 out of 5 eggsReally wanted to like it

Pros: small, discreet, simple, attractive, cool

Cons: horrible audio quality in both directions, difficult to time button presses properly

Other Thoughts: This looked so cool. It was exactly what I wanted to make handsfree calls from my pocket, use Siri, and for GPS audio over my speakers. I have an iPhone 4s. I was gonna deal with it having to be manually paired each time, and with the music starting everytime you hook it back up (although I found this not to be true). However, it sounded like cr*p and when I tried to press, or press and hold or double press, it never seemed to get it right. Just not worth the aggravation. I ended up getting the GoGroove MiniBT. It's not the prettiest thing to look at, but it all works exactly the way it should, and the audio quality is pretty good (not great, but it is a bluetooth speakerphone, after all)
