4 out of 5 eggsGreat quality Microphone

Pros: Decent quality Microphone.
Great Price

Cons: The Microphone stand is a bit wobbly already.

Other Thoughts: The microphone itself is a great product. The quality is great for the price that it is worth. Great for people who are just beginning to dabble in things like music production, gaming (recording), Streaming... and the list goes on.

5 out of 5 eggsIt's great.

Pros: Plug and play. It works great. It catches voice quite well, and does a better job of background noise reduction then any of my other mics or headsets.

I recommend this for sure.

Cons: None so far. Works great after a year of us

5 out of 5 eggsWorks Great!

Pros: Great sound quality, easy to use, plug and play, good levels even at a distance, and great for entry level recording, video recording, streaming, and general VoIP

Cons: Huge. And red light on front.

It's rather large, but this doesn't bother me. The light on the front is red, so it doesn't dilate your pupils very much and thus doesn't bother me when I sleep.

Other Thoughts: Great mic for the price, and a great name.

3 out of 5 eggsWorks Alright

Pros: -Cheap, I got mine for $50
-Well built
-Quality cable
-Fair sound quality, but the three settings are mainly normal, quiet, and quieter.

Cons: -The three settings are useless for spoken word.
-You can't change your distance or orientation relative to the microphone without drastically changing the sound
-The stand is awkward, and requires some fiddling with to fit into a mic holder

Other Thoughts: I usually use a different mic, but I was going to buy a smaller one for Skype calls. In my opinion, there are probably much better spoken word mics for not much more money, and I would look into it.

4 out of 5 eggsBetter quality

Pros: The sound quality just on my voice was much better than on the cheap (e.g. $10) microphones I'd been using. I did not need to get right up on it either. For podcasting and similar uses, it is very fit for purpose. Plug and Play on Windows 7. The stand feels sturdy, and it is a good weight, so it won't fall over or slide around.

Cons: Huge; about the size of a softball. Has proprietary threading; i.e. you couldn't mount this on a standard tripod without finagling an adapter.

Other Thoughts: It has a pilot light on it, but it didn't bother me. I'd like to know if a mic is potentially "live." Works with Windows Recorder, Skype, and VoiceMeeter.
I have no regrets for this purchase.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent mic

Pros: This mic has extremely high quality sound. This mic sounds like a recording studio mic it is soso clear. Today when I got it all my friends were saying how clear I sound.

Cons: Really big mic. This is a real big downside just move it off to the side a little. Also the red light on it is annoying just cover it up.

5 out of 5 eggsMust Buy

Pros: I love the quality of the mic, I use it for gaming and my friends are "wowed" how clear I am compared to my old mic (which was the Sound Blaster Z add on mic)

I like the different features it has on the back even though I will not likely use it, added features are always good to have for "just in case".

I set the mic behind my center monitor (At least 10 to 12 inches away) and not needing to talk loud and still be able to hear me clearly which is always nice.

Auto installs, no drivers needed. Easy Plug n Play!

Cons: The microphone legit a little bit smaller than a softball to give you an idea on size. A bit big for my taste but I'll take this con with the great mic quality

Annoying bright red light on the front of the mic. I just put a small piece of black electrical tape to cover the red light. Problem solved!

Other Thoughts: I didn't use the mini stand that the mic came with. It looks pretty stable and easily screws into the mic no problem. However, for my purposes I do not need a mini stand and the mic easily sits on my desk without any intent of rolling off my desk.

5 out of 5 eggsWorks very well

Pros: -Sound quality is excellent
-Price is low
-No software install needed
-USB sound device which has the bonus of offloading the processing from your own audio device as well as giving you the option of an additional audio stream in addition to your existing setup if you are expanding instead of replacing.

Cons: -Pretty large
-Power light is BRIGHT, and cannot be turned off save unplugging the mic.
-Included stand build quality is poor and not useful for typical desk/sitting height.

Other Thoughts: This mic sounds really amazing for the price point. It is pretty forgiving if you speak with a lot of sibilants. I have owned quiet a few headset/mic combos over the years from manufacturers like Logitech, CM Storm, Razer and even Sennheiser and never had the vocal quality I wanted. This is easily the best mic I have ever owned and for a fantastic price. I'm sure there are better mics here on Newegg, but I can't imagine you will find one that can best this quality/price ratio.

A big note for anyone not used to these kinds of mics, and based on some cons I see some people have run into this. This is not meant to be a mic you throw on the back of your desk 2-4 feet from you and just have it pick up everything you say and sound good. This is a mic you speak INTO. The stand throws the wrong impression, I think. This mic uses a standard 5/8" threaded stand connection. I recommend either getting a stand with a strong boom or a scissor arm to hold this, although any cheap stand would do. You can get either for 15-50 bucks easily.
