Can I use the 2 ports dedicated for iPad and the 1 for iPhone for additional Samsung smartphones/tablets charging?

I have found that the two ipad ports will charge at a fast rate than the other ports.   Ii have also found that all ports work well with just about any device.  ipads charge on the samsung or Android ports...just at a slower rate.

It's a rugged wel-built charger...a little on the larger side compared to others but has been reliable and has worked well with any USB charging situation....even charging my portable power banks.

I bought two of these.

Question 2

What are the physical dimensions of this product?

very good for 4" or small footprint cell phone. But phone like ASUS Zen2, it's very poor performance. I would give 2.5 out of 5 star.

Question 3

Some review seems indicate this unit has 2 supercharge port (2.1Amp), however, if that is the case, the total output would be 2 x 2.1 + 3x1 = 7.2Amp. The ORICO's web site (http://orico.cc/goods.php?id=4887) said the max output is 5V6A, so I really doubt if this unit has 2 supercharge port or not. Can anyone or ORICO clarify it?

I would guess if all port were being used that would be true and one would not get 2.1 amps from both supercharge ports.  However, if only the supercharge ports were being used, there would be sufficient power for both of them to deliver 2.1 amps.  It is one of the fastest charges I have used on those 2 supercharge ports.

Question 4

Can this device power an external 2.5" HDD such as WD Ultra that is powered via USB? Intent is to use a Y cable to relieve the HDD power from the Non- PC device that provides the signals.

Well, I can't guarantee it, but it should work, depending on your Y cable.   When USB3.0 external deices first came out, the cables had 2 connectors at the PC end.   This was to allow the power from two USB2.0 ports on the PC to supply the higher power needs of the external device.   The power pins in the connectors, are different from the data pins in the connectors.   All 5 of the ports on this charger exceed the USB3.0 amperage specification, so you will have enough power available.  The USB3.0 amperage spec is .9 amps (900 miliamps), and the device ports are 2.1 amps (2100 miliamps), 2.4 amps (2400 miliamps), or 1.0 amps (1000 miliamps).    If your Y cable maps the power pins to this charger, and the data pins to the PC, it "should" work.     All that being said, I don't see any reason not to use the power from the USB port on the PC, provided the port and the device match (USB2.0 or USB3.0)
