I don't know for sure - I planned on using with my mSATA from Lenovo - but never got around to connecting it.  My guess would be yes - since it is a standard interface for mSATA devices.

Question 3

Shown to be Linux compatable on my Google
search.  Any opinions or disagreements?

Mine is formatted with NTFS for use with Windows systems.  I plugged it a Debian distribution for LinuxCNC to see if it would work.  It was recognized as a storage device, but complained about the NTFS file system.  It also correctly read the drive label that I assigned when I formatted it in Windows.  My guess is that it will work fine with Linux supported formatting.

No, it will not. The MacBook Air uses a unique form factor that will NOT fit in this enclosure.
