5 out of 5 eggsGreat laptop

Pros: Light and fast! Good battery life! Great touch screen! I needed something powerful and portable without sacrificing battery time. This is a great fit! Took me through college! I also enjoy the way it flips back! Great for Netflix!

2 out of 5 eggsWish I bought the competitor's dedicated card laptop

Pros: The weight is nice, the feel is smooth, and the veriface works well. It powers on well. For what I do for school, it is sufficiently powerful. It can actually do steam in-home streaming well as long as the resolutions are fixed on both sides. The RAM is fine.

Cons: The Intel integrated graphics software is not very friendly. It also does not shut down well, so I have to manually power off most of the time. For the price, the integrated graphics card works well, but I wish I spent an extra hundred on an Asus with a dedicated card. It isn't as light as some of the laptops with dedicated cards. The touchscreen mechanic is good for kids and scrolling pictures, but the keys click on your lap when you want to have the screen rotated closest to you. Because of its smaller size, the keyboard isn't as reliable as others I've used. A few of the keyboard keys are already wobbly after only 6 months of usage.

Other Thoughts: This product wasn't advertised as a gaming machine. I feel that after enjoying the flex and touchscreen, I would have better used my money on that dedicated card instead and a better processor.

Pros: It is good for everyday use

Cons: I cannot connect to the printer and the network of my department while my roommates can. I am very disappointed.

1 out of 5 eggsWiFi Locked

Pros: Great laptop for many reasons.

Cons: There is one major issue with this model. It doesn't support upgrades to AC wireless. They have a BIOS whitelist that only allows certain N WiFi adapters to work. The stock wireless adapter has issues not maintaining a connection. It has been unreliable for me. I purchased this laptop with the intention of using it on my AC network and was surprised to find out that a new Intel 7260HMW WiFi adapter is denied by Lenovo from working. It is currently still pulled apart on my desk until I can figure out what to do with it.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Buy

Pros: It doers everything is said it would do and more. Lighting Speed, WOW!

Cons: Could not get a "non powered" USB Hub 3.0 to work. Not a big deal. Would like to have seen all USB's be 3.0.

Other Thoughts: Purchased a Seagate 2 TB external HD and the two are working super fast together. I'm a happy camper! The Seagate HD is as small as my IPhone.

3 out of 5 eggsresolution oversight

Pros: Fast and responsive although I've made little use of rouchscreen/trackpad; hotkey primary pc interaction which I'm continually looking pace making almost required laps around the win8

Cons: Low resolution results in unavoidable pixely font coupled with previous generation led backlighting so not as bright and crisp as hoped and with very little degree of variation from direct

5 out of 5 eggsGreat ultrabook for the price!

Pros: I7 processor is fast
Good amount of memory
Hybrid drive really helps with startup time
Big touchscreen (hard to find on ultrabooks these days)
Battery life is good
Pretty thin and lightweight

Cons: Resolution
Viewing angles
Touchpad is okay, not great
No backlight keyboard

Other Thoughts: I bought this on newegg when it was $680. Don't know why there was such a huge price increase, but you can still find it elsewhere for $700 which is a stellar deal for this laptop. It is a great ultrabook for that price. I haven't run the battery all the way down, but at medium brightness it lats at least 5 hours, probably even more. The I7 makes this laptop very fast and efficient as it still takes 15W just like the I5's. The laptop also starts up in seconds thanks to the hybrid drive. Only complaints are that the screen could be better quality and the keyboard isn't backlit, but for this price it's hard to complain.

One thing that was weird and took me awhile to figure out was getting the brightness to be set to maximum. If you just press the brightness key, even though it says it is on maximum brightness it will still be very dim. You have to go into PC settings and turn off automatic brightness in order to change the brightness past a certain point. Hopefully this helps out anyone with a similar problem.
