4 out of 5 eggsDecent keyboard, bit pricey for the glitches I have

Pros: Lighted keys, doesn't move around due to weight, volume controls, wrist support. Actual keyboard seems to be quality built

Cons: Had a lot of glitches with it at first - had to unplug and plug back in to get it to work then one day it died. Newegg would've taken it back if I had the orginal box (save the box!), but since I didn't I was forced to deal direct with TT. They had great customer support but the new kb still has some connection problems. 1 out of 5 times the keyboard doesn't wake up with the computer so I have to unplug and replug - would be okay with this on a wireless but on a corded... Only does this when the PC sleeps - I have instant on so I use the sleep mode if you don't, this won't be a problem.

Other Thoughts: I love thermaltake - I now have 2 gamer systems with the tt keyboard, tt mouse, tt mouse pad, tt armor tower, tt GPU water cooler, tt PSU and a tt CPU cooler and I love it all so it was tough to give 4 eggs but if I had to redo my purchase, I would select a different kb

3 out of 5 eggs

Pros: makes clicky noises when i type, which is pleasing.

Came with a bunch of stickers, manuals, installation discs and other food stuffs for my garbage can.

usb ports on the back.

Cons: this keyboard has W-A-S-D backlit. some hilarious guy decided to swap out the d with an s on mine. The f1 key is also missing. not blaming thermaltake. mostly posting cause it's kinda funny.

Also, the keyboard hijacked my audio input when I plugged it in. I now have to plug my speakers into the back of my keyboard. Not a huge inconvenience, and i'd bet I could fix it if i looked into it even a little bit.

Had it for 2 weeks and the backspace now gives off a squeak when struck.

1 out of 5 eggsArrived Defective

Pros: Nice looking keyboard. Feels OK. I like the USB cable.

Cons: It came defective. The 9 key on the top row, the 6 key on the number pad, and both shift keys were nonfunctional. At that point, I boxed it back up and got an RMA.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Keyboard!

Pros: This keyboard is extremely sturdy and built for longevity. The placement of the rubber feet on the bottom, both on the keyboard and on the folding stands, guarantee that this keyboard is going to stay where you put it without scooting around on your desk.

The keys are extremely responsive. I've actually seen my typing speed go up with fewer errors! The macro keys are fantastic for gaming, especially MMOs, and the software is extremely easy to use and setup.

Cons: The only con that I can really think of is that the keyboard does not have all of the keys back lit. Instead, the primary gaming keys are lit in three different zones: wasd, left-shift, left-ctrl, arrow keys, and the arrow keys on the numeric pad. Num Lock and Caps Lock also have their own lights to indicate on/off.

Other Thoughts: If I were to design the back lighting for this keyboard, I'd have left the currently lit keys with the white LED lighting and then back lit the rest of the keys in red LED lighting. This would allow you to easily locate the gaming keys while still providing back lighting for all the keys on the keyboard.

5 out of 5 eggsAbsolutely Awesome Keyboard

Pros: The first, and obvious, pro is that this keyboard is mechanical. The tactile feedback is fantastic and I've actually seen my typing speed go up with less errors overall. The keys are extremely responsive and will activate about half way down, so you don't actually have to bottom out the keys. This makes it a dream to type on and super fast responses for gaming. Overall, the keyboard is extremely sturdy and quite heavy. This thing definitely stays where you set it on the desk and the even the folding legs on the back side of the keyboard have rubber feet to keep it from scooting around.

The macro keys work beautifully and the software gives you a lot of control over how you use them. Macro profiles are actually stored to the keyboard itself, so you can unplug and take it to any computer and still have your macros. This isn't really something that I would see happening often, but if you frequent tournaments this could be a huge plus for you. The software also has a function for "instant shift keys" that will allow you to access macros across all three profiles simply by hitting shift, alt, or ctrl.

The cable for the keyboard detaches completely and is extremely nice for packing the 'board up to go to your favorite LAN party. The included velvet pouch for the cord and the case for the keyboard is an extremely nice added touch.

Cons: The only con that I can think of for this keyboard is that it doesn't have all of the keys back lit. It instead has WASD, left-Shift, left-CTRL, Space, arrow keys, and 8462 on the numeric keypad lit up. In addition, Num Lock and Caps Lock have lights to show that they are activated. The lighting options are nice with off, low, medium, high, and pulsing. But overall, it would have been much nicer to have all of the keys back lit. I'd have chosen to have all keys back lit in white with the currently listed keys lit in red. Perhaps something for Tt eSPORTS to consider in the future.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this keyboard to replace my failing Logitech G19. I loved the macro keys on the G19 and really wanted something that would adequately replace them. I also liked the idea of the color LCD screen on the G19, but found that in reality I very rarely used it for anything. And typing on the G19 always felt a little mushy.

The MEKA G-Unit was a perfect replacement! The macro keys fit exactly what I needed/wanted and the tactile feedback of the mechanical keys is much better than a membrane keyboard. I'm extremely happy with my purchase and will recommend this to anyone that is looking for a new keyboard or looking to upgrade the keyboard that they currently have.

1 out of 5 eggsStopped working entirely

Pros: Cherry MX Black Keys, worked great while it lasted.

Cons: USB controller in the keyboard died while in a SC2 tournament at less than 3 months old. Was not fun to have to scramble to find a keyboard, then when I tried to RMA it, Tt eSports refused the RMA due to lack of original receipt. They would not accept a re-printed receipt from newegg, it had to be the one newegg shipped in the box with the keyboard.

Completely ridiculous. Not worth the huge pricetag, was nothing but a paperweight in 3 months.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome keyboard

Pros: The pictures do give you an idea of what the keyboard is like. Excellent quality and feel of the keyboard. Keyboard is build for gaming. Much better than the Starcraft II keyboard I had. I love the setup of the keyboard. I really don't see anything wrong with the enter key. I think some people are being just too picky. Love the macro keys off the side.

Cons: None. Newegg does a good job with the packaging and shipping. Keyboard arrived in perfect working condition. Can't complain about that!!!

Other Thoughts: Keyboard is worth the investment in my opinion.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: +Quality build
+Looks and feels nice
+Simple software to macro any key
+Not as loud as I thought it would be

Cons: -Dedicated media keys ONLY work when Windows Media Player is open. If you don't have WMP open, it will not work with Winamp and other players.
-Not fully backlit (Only a few key clusters, though I don't really care. I look at monitor, not keyboard)
-Took a few days to get used to the cherry black keys.

Other Thoughts: The only reason I gave this keyboard 4/5 is because of the media keys only working with WMP. Other than that, it is a very nice gaming keyboard and typing keyboard if you can afford it. I was able to snag it at $85 after rebate.

3 out of 5 eggsTank like build with flaws

Pros: Macro Keys
Very solid tank-like keyboard
Nice packaging and carrying gear

Cons: Whites on key starting to fade already
Only some keys are lit up
Weird keyboard layout

Other Thoughts: Overall solid keyboard but 139.99 MSRP needs full led lit plus better quality on keys. Different switch options and Meka G1 keyboard layout would be nice.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor Key Choice

Pros: This is an improvement over the G1 in almost every way.

Cons: I had to send this keyboard back. They messed up the enter key and right shift keys. I can't for the life of me understand why they chose to change the layout of the keys like that from the G1. For me it's unusable as I cannot stand key layouts that that differ from the normal 104 key layout.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this from another vendor. I have since returned it and back to using my G1. I sure hope Tt learns from this and produces yet another keyboard that doesn't have this terrible flaw.
