With built-in video encoder module and web server, users can view live images and full motion video through a standard Web browser.

4 out of 5 eggsBang For The Buck

Pros: Quality is very good, pretty fast response rate, you just have to see it to know is a quality product. It senses great under IR.

THIS IS A BANG FOR THE BUCK.

Cons: Included Software is a NO/NO/NO, I'm using free iSpy Connect, works good in the free version.

Other Thoughts: I only purchased one for my front-door at $92.00, wish i have bought two, PRICE IS GREAT. No Regrets.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent Camera

Pros: Was able to setup internet broadcasting through a typical router, with Dns support. Able to identify a person at least 35 feet away, night vision works well within 25 feet. Im am happy with this purchase, more to follow!!!!

Cons: Supplied software is very flimsy. (Hint: just throw it away.) Use Blue Ir*s software, works well for the price.

Other Thoughts: I picked this thing up after discovering bricks and concrete pieces showing up in the backyard once the new neighbor tried to flex his attitude. Now I have plenty of footage and proof, in case this idiot wants to tango in court. BTW: He is really agitated about being watched and no longer trusted. :) Note: If used in this manner be sure the camera is not directly intruding upon someones privacy, don't point it at windows and such.

4 out of 5 eggsGood and Cheap

Pros: Cheap, fairly easy to setup. Picture quality isn't great, but very good for the price range. Software leaves a lot to be desired if your used to higher end cameras, but is good for the price range as well. So far has stood up through some pretty heavy rains.

Cons: No Power Over Ethernet (Not a problem if your goal is wireless), Power Cable connection requires large hole, which must be filed in around wire after installation in outdoor environment.

Other Thoughts: Wanted a cheap way to keep an eye on my Puppy in her outdoor kennel while at work this does the trick. I chose to use the option of having it write an image periodically to my web server rather than stream video, to conserve bandwidth. It has worked out well enough that I am considering buying a few more as security cameras on the entrances of my house, waiting until winter to see if it lasts.
I used this on wireless for around 1 month, had no problems, but switched to Ethernet simple because I had to run another cable to the area to install an outdoor AP to increase wireless coverage, so I went ahead and ran a second one to switch this to Ethernet as well. I did notice after the switch when pulling up the camera interface on the local LAN to view video, it does seem a little clearer and has none of the occasional jerkiness that I saw some on the wireless. This could have been caused by the signal strength, and may have been solved by the new AP as well if I had left it on wirele

5 out of 5 eggsPleasantly Surprised

Pros: solid case, decent picture night or day, easy to set up and install. for the price, I'm quite happy and am waiting for them to be in stock again... meh.

Cons: the interface isn't great, but not really a con.

Other Thoughts: the cameras (I bought 2, wish I'd gotten 3) were a lot bigger than I was expecting them to be... not obnoxiously big, just larger than I thought they would be.

5 out of 5 eggsGood for the price

Pros: This camera has a good range in both day and night modes. Wireless range has not been a problem (currently set up about 75' from router). The outdoor capability was a major advantage. Price is excellent for this camera.

Cons: Color is not very good - fairly washed out. Instruction manual is awful, however the manual included on the disk is not terrible.

Other Thoughts: Note that the rating has been influenced by the price. At $200, I would probably rate it at a 4 egg and at $300, probably at a 2 to 3 egg. This is not the best camera out there, but for the price it will be hard to beat.

3 out of 5 eggsIt would be a value but...

Pros: Good Picture quality
Good set of features for the price
More intelligence in camera than expected for this price range.
Good value if you can live with quirks.

Cons: Network setup is tempermental. Of two cameras purchased, one has yet to connect wirelessly. Wireless options are flawed (could only connect using WPA, other choices failed).
Filename format (for ftp) is fixed.
no pure image mode
Documentation is limited.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Wireless Camera But a few hiccups

Pros: Clear pictures at a distance, WiFi is fairly easy to set up when its connected. Manual is on Cd, not clearly written in English. Good night vision with infrared range above 15', I had higher expectations for a below $100 camera, it does have a java-script based interface to tweak the video, set motion sensitivity @3 or you may get an excessive amounts of email with no activity. Streams live video when the interface is used within Firefox or IE downloaded to your Hdd.

Cons: Color hue is off, night time and day time video brightness and contrast need to be adjusted periodically to get the proper video output. Doesn't pan or zoom, highly sensitive even at low settings for motion. Alot of trial and errors which took a few hours or more to make it work to my satisfaction.

Other Thoughts: I have to say, for the money it does the job quite well with a few hurdles in the beginning set-up process.
