Polk Audio CSi A6-Black High Performance Center Speaker Each

Pros: Fantastic punchy thrilling challenging center channel definately. the cherry model looks exactly like my furniture. definatly wife proof design worth every dime however there are a few cons not bad but must be told.

Cons: I hate to whine about this but these are the cons ive had.
these need to be powered by at least 40 watts to take full potential. The size is great its huge very impressive looks and built quality however you need a stand that will hold this up its heavy. sounds great above the tv however the weight is the problem with placement. this is 2 feet long and not flat on top so you cant place a tv on it without proper leverage of the tv. these can pump some serious bass with the proper amp.

Other Thoughts: I'm in love with this speaker its amazing looking sounds great and impresses everyone ive shown it to. Love the built quality real wood finish and everything about it.

Pros: Excellent balance, very crisp vocals from this one!! Make sure you have a setup in a large room, this way you will get the most out of this center speaker, it will rock!! Very clean finish, as always from Polk ;)

Cons: It is a deep center channel, make sure you have room! Also make sure you keep enough distance from this speaker or it will over-power the rest of your 5.1 or 7.1 setup. What i mean is, if you are 10ft from it sitting on your couch, set it as if you were at 5 or 6ft, so you dont over-power the rest!!

Other Thoughts: I bought this unit at an incredible price. While others units are smaller and are rated similar at lower volumes(clarity), when you crank this one with true power, it will hold it and you will be amazed at how clear and powerful it will sound for you!! 5 eggs all the way!!!

Pros: The fit and finish of the newer Polk speakers have improved a great deal in the past year, and this center channel is no exception. Voice reconstruction is excellent compared to my Klipsch C3 replaced. The A6 has accurate representation of voices and has excellent base extension. The aesthetics are just OK. The wood lock is a good improvement over the plastic look bezels but the design is still very boxy. There is a provided height adjustment in the back to allow to change the angle of projection which is nice, but I don't use it. Should you want to, you can flip the speaker over and use the longer leg provided in the box to project the sound in an upward direction.

Cons: Considering that Polk sells very similar speakers for less than half this price; I debated for a while whether I should take a star away. Though after several minutes of deliberation I came to the conclusion that this speaker is deserving of all 5 stars.

Other Thoughts: While the speaker may be similar to the other models with very similar drivers, the difference comes to the speaker enclosure. The larger housing helps the bass extension when compared to the CS20 from Polk. The 6.5 inch drivers are taken directly from the A3 book shelf speaker for those that are interested.

Pros: Wonderful center speaker CSI A6..I have it matched with Polk Rti10,perfect match..If you looking for a center from polk,this is the one for you..

Other Thoughts: Just make sure you have room for it..its huge!

Other Thoughts: The speaker was listed at $299 at one point. It seems to be too good to be true but I placed the order anyway. Then I got an email from Newegg claiming that payment authorization with my credit card has failed. I placed two orders at around the same time, one before and one after this order, using the same credit card and both of them went through just fine. And I confirmed with credit card company that nothing is wrong. So this must be a pricing error and Newegg just won't honor it, which is perfectly fine with me since things happen. But don't tell me that it is because something is wrong with my credit card. Within a few hours, the price for this speaker has gone back to $449. So Newegg, if you make a mistake, just admit it. Don't try to blame on the customer!

Pros: I had to replace my AR2C center (blown tweeter) and since Acoustic Research is out of business I was really concerned about getting a center speaker of the same quality and one that would match the timbre with my AR3's (two main towers.) Took a chance on this after listening to numerous centers. I didn't want to go to high end, would definitely sound off, so tried to stay in the same price range as my original ($600). I have to say that this speaker sounds (and feels) like it was made for the AR3's. I was very pleasantly surprised and will definitely consider Polk's next time I look to put a system together.

A added bonus was the ability to flip the speaker so it pointed at an upward angle for placement under my screen.

Other Thoughts: Highly recommended if you need a center speaker (work as a great substitute for me!)
