LG’s 2D-to-3D conversion feature can turn everything into larger-than-life 3D. Not ready for 3D TV yet? LG's 3D Ready HDTVs still deliver extraordinary color and crisp detail in 2D. With LG 3D Depth Control you have the ability to increase the 3D depth on your TV to provide more enhanced 3D effects. This LG TV is also equipped with 3D Sound Zooming to provide a greater level of sound immersion with 3D content. Gamers can enjoy two-player 3D gaming on one TV without the need for a split screen. Now two players can compete against one another independently and catch the action on a full screen (requires special glasses sold separately)!

5 out of 5 eggsLG the BEST!!

Pros: This tv rocks! it is huge and looks amazing. I keep forgetting that it's even there when I watch stuff because the bezel is almost non-existent. I have it hooked up with with a new Pioneer vsx-822 and couldn't be happier. the dlna streamig is top class and I have droid apps for both devices so I can control them easily from the couch.

Cons: The remote is kinda cool at first, but becomes a bit annoying to use after a while. The shape is really weird and it acts like a wii controller so the pointer can go all over the place sometimes. But on the other hand it is pretty cool and does get the job done rather well, in its own way.

Other Thoughts: the guys that delivered my tv were awesome. they let me inspect it and then basically helped me get it up and running perfectly. excellent service!!! best tv purchase ever!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat TV

Pros: Great picture quality,
Tons of useful setting to play around,
The Magic remote is actually accurate and very easy to use,
A few useful app as a part of (SmartTV).
ARC support is amazing!

Cons: No Pandora app.
Flash player in internet browser i s a bit slow, it shows an icon like if there was no Flash player, and then loads after 10-15 seconds.

Other Thoughts: I upgraded to this from 40" sony bravia and this tv blow is out of the water, it is an amazing piece of technology!
I got it for $1200 so i think the is the best you can get fro the money!

5 out of 5 eggsUpdate

Pros: Just an update to the Plex works great now:
1-disable "Bonjour" in services
2-enable Upnp on your router
3-install Plex Media Server on your computer
4-add files
5-install Plex Media CENTER on your computer

Now you can access your files via Medialink OR DLNA via your remote "Home Button on Remote/Inputs/Plex"

Cons: Gotta buy more 3D Blu-Rays

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing But Not "Perfect"

Pros: I bought this to replace my dying Olevia 37" what a difference 7 years of technology makes! This TV is stunning. I mainly bought it because it fits in my entertainment center (the model below this one was too wide by 1 1/2"). I love how the screen goes all the way to the edge. The 2 biggest cons I saw during my research was (1) edge light bleeding, and (2) the remote. I have absolutely zero problems with either con. I see zero bleeding. The settings are fabulous right out of the box, but just a little tweaking really was worth it, and it was very easy and intuitive. I actually LOVE the remote! I also download the LG app for my iPhone, and it is cool too.

3D was not my main concern, as I thought it was just probably a novelty...BOY WAS I WRONG! The 2Dto3D conversion is nothing short of amazing (just be sure to press the 3D button, then go to settings and tweak #d to your liking). I also played a rippped 3D file of Disney A Christmas Carol...BETTER THAN IMAX LIV

Cons: Some video files from my WHS 2011 and Plex servers will not show up on the LG, and some just won't play, mostly MKV but ripped DVD's won't play either. Plex is quirky, which is well documented. My Plex server shows up on the LG, but refuses to recognize any content. The built-in DLNA client grabs most of the files on mt servers, PC, and Mac, but still falls short on getting and playing them all. I will probably end up researching more for the Plex solution, and convert the stubborn files to another format. If all else fails, I will just plug my HTPC into an extra HDMI port on the LG, and play everything from there, as I have always done...but I was hoping the LG and Plex would keep me from having to do that

Other Thoughts: Though not "perfect", I still give this 5 stars. Newegg got it to me in 2 days, and is giving me 12 months no payments/interest through their Preferred Account...great, in my book!
