The radio data service will also give you information about the station, the song and the artist. It's all displayed on the large LCD screen. The display is back-lit so it will be readable in any light.

You can use the controls on the front of the radio or the included remote control. Either way the music will sound good coming from the 3" speaker that has an enlarged magnet for a fuller sound.
