5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Headphones

Pros: These have amazing sound! A major upgrade from my previous headphones. Excellent bass and all around sound. If you have an MP3 player with good EQ settings it'll sound even better.

Comfortable, your ears can breathe and they never get sore, doesn't squeeze at all.

Cons: My previous behind the head headphones had more of snug fit, so I wasn't losing much sound while still being open. These on the other hand I feel like they could be a little more snug. I have to turn up my volume a bit more when in a vehicle compared to my previous headphones to get the same volume level. But I can live with it.

Other Thoughts: Great Headphones! If you don't like your head being squeezed and your ears not being able to breathe this is the pair for you.

5 out of 5 eggsThe Best On Ear I've Ever Owned (So Far!)

Pros: -First and foremost, these have really fantastic low-range. The bass and drums are thumping (in the best possible way) and clear
-Great balance: the vocals rarely get muddled by the instrumental, and the bass/drums are always well balances with the rest of the song
-Actually really nice volume level. I have pretty good hearing (I listen to headphones a lot, but only on ear and at low/mid volumes), and I was comfortable listening at 10 of 25 volume on my MP3 player. On my laptop, I was at 8 of 100 and everything was crystal clear.
-Pretty comfortable. Could be a little larger, but I have a large head so I'll let it slight. They'll probably wear in a little bit over time, too, so it's not a problem.
-Good cord length. I'm about 5'11" and the chord easily reaches down to my knees, certainly no problem putting my MP3 player into my pocket when plugged in.

Cons: -Some sound leakage... but not a lot. This is a VERY minor gripe. At about 22 of 25 on my MP3 player, I could clearly hear all but the bass coming out of these headphones from 3-4 feet away. At 25 of 25, everything was pretty clear. HOWEVER, at those volumes it hurt to have the headphones on my ears; I would never listen that loud, so this is not a big deal. At normal listening volume, I had hardly any leakage at all (less than with my old Sony G45's).
-Kneck band felt a bit flimsy at first, but it actually seems rather durable (only time will tell, though).

Other Thoughts: These are really nice headphones, particularly for the price. Coming from a $20 pair of Sony's, I can tell there's a HUGE difference. They sound very good with my MP3 player, and they sound GREAT with my laptop. I don't know if this is a power source thing, but thee's a noticeable quality improvement on my computer. Still, they sound great both ways. The first song I listened to when I plugged these into my laptop was "Semi-Charmed Life" by Third Eye Blind, and I just have to say I was stunned. I'd really never heard it sound quite so fantastic. On my MP3 player I jumped all over, from Pearl Jam to Ke$ha to Pink Floyd to Jimmy Eat World to The Cars to the White Stripes, and found that regardless of the artist or style these just sound great. One final note, I have a Creative Zen X-Fi and I initially was on the "No EQ" setting with the X-Fi audio enabled. Sound quality VASTLY improved when I set it to Rock EQ and turned off all X-Fi settings. I would STRONGLY recommend these to anyone!
