one review said this does not have audio, but i see a headphone and microphone jack... which is correct?

On some models of the M700 tiny there is a very tiny speaker in the case that's only meant for beeps and alerts. Audio support High Definition (HD) Audio, Realtek ALC223 / optional internal speaker (1 watt)

Question 2

Does this have both a 500Gb SSD and a 500Gb HDD as stated in the title and description? The review says it does not, so i wanted to double check.

The review is correct. I was also disappointed when I opened the box, to discover that it did not have the SSD, only the 500 HDD. I recall choosing this computer over several other similar ones, because the extra hard drive made it a better deal.

I didn't really need the SSD for my purpose, and I didn't want to wait for shipping of another one, so I kept it anyway. But I can't help but feel a little bit swindled and lied to by the seller.

Question 3

Are there additional RAM slots to add more RAM?

Per the datasheet:
32GB max, DDR4 2133, two 260-pin SO-DIMM sockets, dual-channel capable
Before buying RAM, consider if you are going to use the existing DIMM first.  If so, then get its exact specifications AFTER you get the PC.  Then go onto the major vendors of DRAM modules and enter you system info to see if they have a matching DIMM.  Or if you want to go bigger than 8GB, which is what I did for 16GB, find the modules that are on the qualified vendor list, or on the memory modules websites I just mentioned, to make sure they are compatible with your system. Good luck, it's a nice machine for the money.  BTW- the M.2 socket if for SATA 6Gb/s drives only.  I used a Samsung 850 EVO M.2 SATA drive in mine.  Way faster than the stock HDD.

Question 4

The title indicates that this machine is running Win7 Pro (Win10 Pro Downgrade); can we install Win10 Pro on this thing with the license that it comes with or would we be required to purchase Win10?

No, you would not need to purchase another license. The system includes a Windows 10 Pro license. However, it ships with Windows 7 Pro installed. While the license is included with the system, the media is not. If you need to obtain the media for Windows 10 Pro, there is a link to a Lenovo website that is included with the documentation allowing you to request the media. Additional shipping and handling fees may apply.
