4 total. I recommend using a Roku Streaming + stick w/this TV as apps are limited.

What is the input lag like on this thing for gaming at 1080p, and 4k?

Close to none at 1080p, you cab start to feel it at 1440p. 4k is kind if like jelly. It is good for movies or games like the Deadspace series where lag isn't important.

Does this come with a remote control? If so, are there any known issues with it? For example, I already own two Vizio TVs and while they are both very different, the remote for my smart TV also connects to the other tv (i.e. it turns one tv on or changes the channel when I'm trying to use it on the other tv).

Yes comes with remote, and I've had no issues with it at all between normal use, smartcasting, and using the apps that come with it.
