XClio's A380Plus is engineered to support your high-performance gaming system in style! The exterior is designed for the 250mm front fan, which draws fresh air in, and the 360mm side fan, which directs the air onto your components. Both fans are controlled by a VR speed control. The transparent side panel and blue LED lights give the system a cool blue glow, and allows you to see what’s going on inside the case. Top-mounted I/O panel hosts 2 USB 2.0 ports and a FireWire connector for easy access, even with the front door closed.
Installation of your components couldn’t be easier, with XClio’s tool-less clip and rail system. You’ll have room for your Micro ATX, Standard ATX, or MP Dual CPU(12'' x 13'') motherboard, Five 5.25” external drives, one 3.5” external drive, seven 3.5” internal drives, plus 7 expansion slots. External drive faces are concealed by the front door, which keeps dust out, and gives the case a sleek look when closed. Your gaming system will look and run great in the A380Plus.
Pros: 1) Quick release back slots for easy access without using screws. 2) hard drives face laterally to allow more room. 3)Nothing interferes with the motherboard, it sits alone without the p/s, cd drives, fans or hardware interfering. 4) The front panel is MAGNETIC, so there's no mechanical failure chance. NOTE: it is magnetically WEAK ENOUGH to allow an ejecting cd rom drive to still overcome the magnetic force and open the door for you to eject the CD 5)Rear fan is a 120mm slot, allowing you to get superior exhaust CFM, and it comes right off the processor heatsink 6)Comes with cable ties and stationary twist clips to allow easy routing of USB and IEEE case mounted slots. 7)screwless attachments for hard-drives, CD drives and floppy drive for quick installation. the floppy one worked for my XION temperature monitor ($60 on newegg). 8) very quiet fans, even at high speed. i didn't say silent, just quiet. 9) front and side fan are both speed-adjustable, built in Overall, great case.
Cons: 1)quick-release PCI securer is a little flimsy, if you are using a 8800GTS or any double-slot card, you maybe have trouble getting it to close entirely, but it's still secure even if you can't get it all the way. 2)the huge side fan only really blows air from the tips of the blades, be prepared for that, not as great a cooling job 3)USB/IEEE connections are NONSTANDARD meaning they are just loose wires, you'll have to find a schematic of a USB cable on google images or something to hook them up right to a 9-pin USB motherboard connection. 4)for the love of g-d, connect the huge fan to the speed adjuster that comes already attached to your pci back covers, or you will effectively short your power supply 5) large fan is very difficult to remove if you want to reverse it to make it an exhaust, or anything like that, making it hard to filter dust, etc 6)accesory case is a joke. it's basically a place to cram the cables to they can ship it to you. it's unsightly, but the side blocks it.
Other Thoughts: Don't get me wrong, I love this case. I'm coming from a generic full size tower, and this one has some intelligent design. The sides slide on and off with ease, don't listen to anyone else about that. Make sure you buy an exhaust 120mm fan, I recommend a SILVERSTONE FM121-B, sold on this site, or a zalman fan that comes with a fan-mate speed controller, because it will be the loudest fan in your chassis. It doesnt matter what color your exhaust fan is, the bright blue LEDs on the side fan make everything blue anyways. My exhaust fan is white and you can't tell. Get a pci slot exhaust fan too to put in the bottom, there's no normal exhaust path down there, even though the bottom fan blows into there, at least that's my last recommendation. Cheers!

Great Case

Pros: Great amounts of space. I don't know about everyone else's cases, but mine has an extra exhaust fan out the top, so there are 3 HUGE fans inside this baby. Keeps everything cool. Be warned do NOT underestimate how big this case is if you are tight on space.
Cons: absolutely nothing

Pros: Lots of room inside, easy to work in. Will hold an ati 4870 x2. Lots of fans, with good air flow.
Cons: The front fan, and side fan when out less than a year. The grate that goes under the cd/dvd won't stay in.
Other Thoughts: When the front fan went out I e-mailed xclio, they got back with me quickly, and finished getting information they needed. While that fan was in the mail, my side fan went out. I have e-maile Xclio several times about the side fan, with no reply. On their site they do not list a 360mm fan. So maybe it's no longer in production.

XClio A380PLUS-BK
Reviewed By: Robert on 2/2/2010
Tech Level: somewhat high - Ownership: more than 1 year
This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: 1) The case comes default with three fans, all of which function well and help circulate air. 2) The case uses common sense to suck air out from the top instead of the bottom (hot air rises). 3) There are five 5.25" slots (allowing for multiple disk drives, fan controllers, card readers, and so fourth) 4) There are eight 3.5" slots 5) The top and side fan have removable speed adjuster pieces, which install into the back in case you happen to desire such a feature but would prefer not to purchase one. 6) 3.5" and 5.25" external drive covers snap in and can be placed back on later in case a drive breaks and one decides to remove it form the case. 7) Two of the fans come with filters allowing for easier dust control. 8) The case utilizes a clamp system for PCI based cards, and if one decides to not use all the slots or place back a slot the metal protector piece can be placed back into the case. 9) The case did not come with a rear motherboard cover, thus no worry about taking i
Cons: 1) XClio decided it would be a model idea to introduce a system in which the drives are inserted onto clips to which then go into the slot to be securely held in, rather than by just using screws (as everyone else does) These clips are extremely annoying to use and although they seem to function simply for hard drive insertion, when trying to place in drives that utilize the front of the case it seems almost impossible to do so without hours of tedious work. 2) This clip system does not fully support devices in which do not extend the whole 5.75" into the case, thus if the device is shorter and say only extends 1 to 2 inches into the case it will not stay in securely using the clamps (had to use electrical tape in order to securely fasten the device into the case) 3) The front fan has a built in fan control speed switch on it, thus when using a custom fan/temperature controller Cons continue below!
Other Thoughts: one has to turn the fan speed unto max and then reduce it down using the installed device in order to be able to achieve all fields of fan power. (This switch can easily roll to different speeds) 4)The motherboard support bracket goes across an entire side of the case, making the installation of drives and filtering of wires a slightly more difficult process.
Overall, this is an interesting case. It provides some good idea's although it seems that they were not entirely thought out. The case stands strong, ventilates air well, and provides lots of room for setting up, and placing wires. Most of the cons with this device are my own personal complaints, and would not hold against this case when considering to purchase another one. (Just a few simple fixes)

This user purchased this item from Newegg
Pros: This case is quite large and can house all of my components quite well. The fan system is great, and there are even speed knobs on the back of the tower. Runs quiet as well
Cons: The large fan on the side of the case sometimes will get some wires stuck inside, which is my own problem because i neglected to tie down some of the cables
