4 out of 5 eggsFairly Solid Case

This review is from: IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: - Pretty good price.
- Fairly attractive aesthetic.
- The window in the side panel is neat. I get to see my nice, shiny,
new video card while gaming.

Cons: The wires for the reset and power switches on the case were mislabeled and flipped. Took a frustratingly longer amount of time to put my new rig together than I had hoped, but I eventually figured it out.
Also, it seems to not want to power on sometimes after opening up the case. especially if I opened the top lid as well. Although, this could potentially be a fault on my end (Power supply/Power strip/Power outlet possibly).

3 out of 5 eggsLooks Great

This review is from: IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: The case looks great with the mesh drive bay covers and the windowed side panel. The pre-installed red LED rear case fan also looks nice and increases in brightness when you change from silent to turbo fan mode. Not a bad case, but there are a lot better ones out there for not much more money.

Cons: There is not a lot of options for cable management and not all of the hard drive bays are removeable. The window is smoked and not completely clear and the logo is sort of annoying to look at.

4 out of 5 eggsPretty good for the price

This review is from: IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Big case with plenty of room. Looks better than a lot of others at this price point, in my opinion.

Cons: The plastic feels relatively cheap. Cable management is subpar.

5 out of 5 eggsIn Win Case

This review is from: IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: -plenty of room
-panels easy to remove and work with
-looks just awesome
-good airflow design.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: -remember, there is an onboard fan controller and if you plan to have your own custom fan controller(s) the case fans are pre-wired to that system. plan accordingly.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic Case

This review is from: IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Almost as much room as a full tower. Beautiful case that can hold 6- HHD as well as a hotswap on the front top. Nice large window on the side to view your build. Plenty of ventilation.

Cons: A bit pricy compared to the smaller cheap built cases but definitely well worth it.

Other Thoughts: You can not go wrong buying this case. I chose the white version. It differs from other white cases because it is black on the interior. Looks much nicer than the white interior cases. Spend a bit of money on a case that you will enjoy. Plenty of room and good looks makes this case.

2 out of 5 eggsVery disappointed

This review is from: IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: It's big
It looks cool
Hot swap I guess
Free fans for the next case

Cons: It came with a broken wire that I was able to fix for the most part. There is no where to put a 240mm radiator. "Dust filters". Literally no cable management. They popped the left side panel out, yet made only 2 unhelpful holes for cable management.. The included fans are subpar and the case wires are complete garbage. The back fan's LED cannot be turned off. The front panel is connect to the io, meaning you can't fully remove it without breaking wires. HDD monitoring lights are so unbelievably obnoxious. They're big, bright, and BLUE on a red and white themed case. My front USB 3 doesn't work and my audio jack came broken. IMPORTANT: You cannot replace PCI express covers after you remove them. They are part of the case and you have to bend them until they fall off. Do yourself a favor and stay far away from this case.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Case

This review is from: IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: The case is awesome if you are only going to run 1 video card, Overall experience with this case so far is good. My husband calls it a womens case compared to his huge case.

Cons: It says it house a place for 7 extra fans but on the side of the case where two other fans are supposed to go there are no holes. You would have to drill them yourself.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat for the Money

This review is from: IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Inexpensive, Nice Features, Looks Great, Sturdy, Fair Amount of Room

Cons: Some Placement Issues, Showed up Slightly Damaged,

Other Thoughts: Overall, this is a great case for the money. Once I put my PC together, I was very satisfied with the red glow and cooling system. However, I took off an egg for two reasons. When installing my GPU, I had to remove some of the HDD/SSD to have it fit inside the case. It's not a huge issue seeing that I won't need all six holders, but it might be something to consider. In addition to this, my case arrived put together incorrectly. The permanent screws holding the part where the motherboard is set upon was incorrectly placed and it bent the top left corner. I fixed the issue by bending the screw into place along with the rest of the corner. This is most likely just my problem, but it was nonetheless pretty annoying.

4 out of 5 eggsOverall great, some minor design flaws

This review is from: IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: A family member bought this for me to make my new build, after I picked it out. I

It's got great ventilation.
Room for a lot of fans (although maybe not as many as you are led to believe, but more on that in cons)
It feels really sturdy for the price, well built, well designed and is working well for me.
I actually like the HDD LED's on the front, as well as the red fan that came with it. The fans are fairly quiet and with the snap in installation for many of the fans, it made installation of extra fans a breeze.
I got the Hot Swap dock working for my HDD and that is a major plus, as well as the fan controller switch.
Overall this is really a great gaming case for the price. It looks awesome and feels well made.

Cons: There were some cons though.

They say eight fans, then say that can depend on region. Even getting six case fans in (four more than the two it came with, and two less than they say you can fit), took a bit of engineering. I don't know why the model here even advertises eight fans at all because that's only for the mesh side version, and that version is not even on Newegg. There is a spot for a bottom fan, but its right where the PSU is mounted. Even if you have a small fan (80 mm) it will probably hit the power cables. So I could possibly fit a seventh fan, but it's really poorly designed there. Not enough space.

Also, this case really isn't that big. I know it's a mid, but just keep in mind you shouldn't expect to fit in large aftermarket cpu coolers, as they might not fit with the side of the case on. That brings me to another complaint.

It says "water cooling hole ready", but the thing is, there is so little room in this case for a water cooling system you would almost be forced to mount it externally. That may or may not be a con to you, but it's something to keep in mind. It's still a great case for the price. You don't have screws at the top, just brackets for fans. You would have to try to mount a radiator in the brackets somehow without screws, and then screw the fans to the radiator, which likely wouldn't even fit. If you could get a radiator into the top brackets in the first place. Doubtful.

Also, the little red pieces should fit on the top too. It just seems lazy. I was pretty annoyed when I realized I couldn't use them on the top.

Also, why couldn't the front fan be red LED as well? And that's another small complaint. I searched all over Newegg and online but couldn't find them. I would like the option to buy more red LED fans produced by In Win like the one in the case, because it's hard to find the exact matching shade of red. Right now I have a mismatch of various colored/non colored fans. It seems In Win doesn't sell individual fans though. Bummer.

Other Thoughts: It really is a great case for the price. I almost didn't knock off an egg, but there are just a few design flaws I was bothered by. I understand why they didn't add screw holes on top (because of the venting holes, but I still believe they could have found a way.

And I really wish they were more honest about the fan situation (how many can fit safely, etc.)

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case, Bad Packaging.

This review is from: IN WIN GT1 White SECC Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: I got this case after seeing the reviews, and all I can say is that it looks better in person. The lights look AMAZING on it, and the airflow is wonderful. It's great there's a switch for 'high' and 'low' fan settings. Easy to build inside.

Cons: Right when it arrived, I opened the box to see that the side panel (clear), was cracked throughout the whole thing. I didn't let this bother me since I was eager to set up the computer since I was without one for a while. But I am extremely disappointed that I have to deal with now every time I see the case. Except for that, I wish there were longer cables.

Manufacturer Response:
