5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case !!!

Pros: Very well built, easy to work on, both side panels come off and also has a removable motherboard tray. Plenty of room inside and very adaptable, being able to locate the front drives where ever you want is a major plus.

Cons: The price maybe but you get what you pay for.

Other Thoughts: This case is all I expected and more. I wanted to get a black one but when I was ready to buy black was no longer available. I ended up using black DVD drives and I think they look good even without the drive cover that comes with the case. Installed a PC Power & Cooling Silencer 610 EPS12V power supply and it fit without a problem. And size wise that is probably one of the biggest power supplies you will find. I also used a Zalman CNPS9500 CPU fan and it fit also without a problem.

4 out of 5 eggsNice Case

Pros: Roomy and easy to work with. Built well.

Cons: Poorly designed and limited hard drive cage. Too many CD/DVD cages. No antivibration devices.

Other Thoughts: Replaced small and noisy fans throughtout. Should run cool. No problems with standard size power supply.

5 out of 5 eggsNice case

Pros: This is my second pc-6077. The first one was built by a custom builder. I picked up a second one for my own build. That’s when I realized just how well this case is designed.
From the removable mother board tray to the tool less thumb screws and the simple to understand instructions, made everything very easy. This case is light weight aluminum and shows quality throughout.

Cons: None, I've had my first case over three years and all the fans are still working

Other Thoughts: Make sure you use the fine threaded screws on the mother board stand offs, and not the coarse ones that come in the same bag

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful case (part 2)

Pros: I forgot to mention that the front panel connectors come with the standard blocks that will fit the headers on most motherboards for USB/Firewire/Audio, but then they *also* break out each wire to a separate connector to accomodate nonstandard motherboards. These separate wires are neatly zip-tied back onto the main wire to keep them out of the way if you don't need them. This is nice, though, if you need the extra two inches of wire, or if your MB header is non-standard.

Also, did I mention the motherboard tray and all of those wonderful thumbscrews?

Cons: The audio connector on most motherboards is waaaay back there on the opposite side from the front panel. The audio wire is a bit short as-is in this case. I had to untie the individual wires (mentioned above) to get the extra two inches to reach my MB connector.

The expansion bays and DVD drive don't use thumbscrews. I guess you can't have everything.

Other Thoughts: The fans all have 3-pin connectors, but the case came with the 4-pin to 3-pin adapters (the kind where the 4-pin molex connecter is a solid pass-thru male/female connector).

5 out of 5 eggsWonderful case

Pros: This case is just wonderful. I purchased this along with the expansion bays (Newegg item N82E16841101035), and some Kingwin fans (Newegg item N82E16811999963).

I run all of my 80mm fans at 7 volts (you can modify most 4-pin to 3-pin adapters to do this), so they are as quiet as the 120mm fans in the expansion bays.

Cool and quiet. Pretty blue power LED complimented by red HD LED, both behind the front grille.

Cons: The case didn't come with a full compliment of fans, and I don't know where to order Lian-Li fans. So I bought a matching set of 4 80mm fans and slapped 'em in there.

On a simliar note, it did not come with an extra fan grill. I moved the one from the blow-hole fan to the extra fan that I put in the back of the case.

Other Thoughts: I had to remove the floppy bay to insert the two hard drive expansion bays (not a bad thing, who uses floppy anyway?

The facade cover for the CD/DVD drive completes the uniform look on the front of the case.

I have 11 drives in my box, and they run at 30 degrees celsius.

5 out of 5 eggsWhat I Expected

Pros: Lots of drive space.
Simple well crafted layout.

Cons: Side panels a bit flimsy.

Other Thoughts: This is the second Lian Li case I've purchased. The first was a venerable PC-60, which although expensive at the time, I liked a lot. This case the PC6077 is very similar to the PC-60.

Spacewise, the case is very economical. It is basically, one long stack of nine 5.25" inch bays down the front. The mobo is on a removable tray are close behind the stack, and the PSU is mounted above that.

All parts are aluminum and well finished. Hardware is generous. There is an abundance of thumbscrews on the rear of the case.

As with my previous PC-60 experience, I find the side panels to be a bit thin. On the PC-60 they had a tendency to resonate, if not really severely tightened down. I may resort to sound deadening material to stiffen the panels a bit.

A single Lian Li “stainless” CD/DVD bezel is included. It’s aluminum with a downward flapping door, and a single button. I have yet to see if it will fit over my optical drive of choice.

A single Lian Li “stainless” floppy bezel is

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This case is well designed, well made and looks great to boot. Between the thumbscrews, slideout mobo wall, and the reconfigurable interior structure, setting up everything "just right" was easy. This thing weighs in pretty light too, which is handy for LAN parties or frequent moving.

Cons: Beware scratching, the questionable need for a floppy bezel and the slight looseness of the case sides.
Also, the box says 4 fans (2 front, 1 rear, 1 top). The case has 3(1 front, 1 rear, 1 top).

Other Thoughts: It comes with two bezels (drive covers). One for floppy disks, the other CDs. There isn't a replacement cover if you don't want to use one of these, though.
Read the manual. It helps.
