4 out of 5 eggsLots of options, a few quirks

Pros: This is a large case with room for future hardware upgrades, including watercooling and more data storage. I experimented with the exhaust and ended up going back to Lian-Li's original configuration. Intake fan in front for drives. Intake fan in back blows over a Thermalright Ultra 120 mounted on an A8R32MVP via a S-clip adapter with a Yate Loon pulling toward the front. Due to the heat sink's front/back orientation the CPU air duct proved too narrow and I had to remove it but it doesn't seem to be a problem. I have the side fan exhausting heat from a pair of 1900XTs with aftermarket Zalman VF900s. I also added a second front intake fan, a Lian-Li Expansion HDD Kit Ex 34A RT just to get a bit of postive case pressure and introduce some cooler air. Temps are great with a gentle overclock, and fans are quiet and pretty efficient.

Cons: No wheels and the weight of the case makes it hard to pull out and lift. I will either get the wheels Lian Li sells or maybe mod some beefy casters onto the bottom to roll this beast around. No removable motherboard tray. I have to remove the motherboard to work on the massive CPU and that gets old. Unit came with dual PSU plate unlike the dual 80mm fan grills pictured. I found the plate with the 80mm stamped grills and switched it for the dual psu plate for better cooling.

Other Thoughts: I added Lian Li stealth bezels for the optical drives and the floppy for a very finished look. No problems with cable management. Great build quality. With the door closed I barely see a change in temps and it definitly cuts the noise. Can't wait to get a quieter PSU (this one has a delta fan that roars) and really silence this baby!

5 out of 5 eggsWell worth the money

Pros: Very, very big. New Hd brackets are a huge bonus, making installing new HD a breeze. Lite for it's size. Four 120mm fans included. Plenty of room for everything. Quiet fans. Dual psu ready. Useful 120mm fan by the video card.

Cons: What is up with the front panel? I swear it weights almost as much as the case, it's freaking heavy compare to the rest of the case. Still no tooless 5.25 bay. Very big, taking alot of desktop room. Wish it was cheaper, lol. Fans are quiet, at the expense of airflow. No intake fan above the lower front intake fan. PC Power 1k psu will not fit unless you remove the 2nd HD/fan bracket.

Other Thoughts: The case did not look like the one in the picture. The 80mm fan slot at the bottom was replaced with a slot for another psu. Keeps my cpu cool even though there's no intake fan cept for the one below by the HD. I pretty much reverse the airflow on the fan by the video card, from outward, to inward airflow. The case will get heavy if you have alot of things to put in.

5 out of 5 eggs12 x 3.5" Is Awesome

Pros: More room for drives than you can shake a stick at, two PSU mounts and adapter for switching included, very spacious inside, all fans included, front LED's integrated into power and reset switches, excellent build quality, very nice front door, and front panel ports are on the top.

Cons: A little on the heavy side (but it comes with the territory), slightly sharp edges on side doors, fans could be a little faster to move more air, and it would be nice to have an option to mount more fans on the back like in the product image as an alternative to a second PSU (but dual PSU is pretty cool too).

Other Thoughts: Quite frankly, it's the biggest computer I've ever seen. It makes previous cases I've used like the Yeon Yang YY-0221 and 6U cases look small in comparison. If you're looking for lots of room and the best build quality around, look no further because you've met your match.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Tower

Pros: Very spacious and solid, easy to work inside. Not publicized but it CAN take two PSU units. The hard drive bays make it very easy to swap them in and out.

Cons: The 120cm fans in my system are all quite loud, one clicked, and the exhaust fan was attached so tightly to the back grille that it did not move. The hood+fan assembly does not have much range and can come in the way of a tall heatsink. The panel locking system doesn't always spring open as it should.

Other Thoughts: The hard drives sit very far from the Motherboard, 24" sata and 36" IDE round cables are a must.

5 out of 5 eggsI love it but BE CAREFUL, fan adapter smoked hard drives

Pros: Very nice case but BE CAREFUL!!! See "other thoughts". I LIKE the case, it is huge, and provides storage for 12 disks down in the bottom. You could also mount two power supplies if you needed failover.

Cons: The motherboard mounts upside down, I think to make the power connector close to the bottom where the power supplies sit in this case.

A fan in the bottom partially obstructs the upper power supply mounting area making it hard to get longer power supplies in there.

Other Thoughts: Attached to the front bottom fan is a fan adapter which allows plugging the fan into IDE Disk Drive power plugs. This fan adapter SWITCHES the +5v and +12v wires and when another "extender" is plugged in to this little adapter, it routes the wrong voltages (12v and 5v are switched) on to the disk drives. I destroyed two drives and a little IDE to SATA adapter before I figured out what the problem is.

DO NOT USE THIS ADAPTER to send voltages on to other drives.

Perhaps I just got a miswired connector, you can check it (once you know what you are looking for). The wires coming in from your power supply have yellow, black and red wires. If you plug this fan adapter into one of your IDE power connectors, then plug another "power extender" into this provided adapter, you should see the yellow wires mating with yellow wires, red with red, black with black. In my case, the two middle black wires were correct but the yellow wire coming OUT was connected to red, and red to yellow.

4 out of 5 eggsA great case, but not for the space-conscious.

Pros: Enormous, cavernous interior. Lots of internal racks and such to help with the layout and cable management. 4x12cm fans are very quiet and well-placed. Customizeable airflow adjustments on 2 of the 4 fans. Front USB/FireWire/Headphones/Mic jacks are very convenient. Rubber feet. The front locks for privacy. It comes with more than enough screws. Sturdy construction, a classy look.

Cons: The case is MASSIVE. If it was empty, you could fit about three two-year-olds in it. Not a truly tool-free design. I had to mount my PSU (Seasonic S12 600W) upside-down because the PSU sits on the bottom in this case. As a result it is unsecured, just sitting insdie the case with nothing holding it in place. HDD racks are kind of far from the motherboard, so if I had not had an extra-long IDE cable lying around I would have been out of luck trying to use my RAID0 setup. The directions were not helpful and were translated badly. It scratches really easily. The side panels are sometimes not as easy to put on and take off as they should be.

Other Thoughts: This is a case with all kinds of useful and innovative features, but some minor annoyances may crop up if you don't plan ahead (which is hard to do before you actually get the case, unfortunately). It took me a long time to switch the contents of my old case to the new one, but was ultimately worth it. However, this is an intimidating case from the get-go and isn't very newbie-friendly.

5 out of 5 eggsLian Li what do you expect!

Pros: This case is excellent with lots of room and ample cooling. I added an additional 12cm on the top to prot some more cold air in where the major het componets. This thing is very pleasent to the eye.

Cons: The power supply should be placed where the dual 8cm fans and the 8cm should be on the bottom but with my power supply theres no problem(PcP&C 1kw).

Other Thoughts: I love this case it is AWEASOME!!!
