4 out of 5 eggsGood case

Pros: Lots of room to work. The idea of putting the fans in the middle of the case is great if you want a quiet rig (which I do).

It also looks nice.

I am using it for a HTPC and it works well for my needs.

Cons: 1. The small screws on the front of the case are torqued on way too tight by the factory. I almost stripped them to get the case open.
2. The wires from the front LEDs/buttons are short, so you'll pull them taut to plug them into your mobo.
3. For the size, it should be able to fit a couple more drives.

Despite the problems, I would buy it again. But if Lian Li reads these reviews then those are some easy things you could fix.

Other Thoughts: I used mine with a liquid cooler from Corsair (H60 Hydro) and suspended the radiator from the middle bar. It took a little finagling, but it works well and keeps the computer quiet without any noise.

5 out of 5 eggsSolid HTPC Case

Pros: - Cool and Quiet
- Plenty of bays and room for a HTPC
- Fits perfectly in my Home Theater stand

Cons: - Expensive, but how often do you buy a case...

Other Thoughts: I purchased the optional 140mm fan and replaced the internal 120mm fans with ones from Scythe. The 120mm fans that came with the case where fine, I just had these lying around and I guess I'm a bit of a Scythe fanboy.

5 out of 5 eggsSexy

Pros: Great Look
Awesome Airflow
Build Quality

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: Sexy is the only way I can describe this case. Everyone that came into my office to check it out was immediately impressed. This is my first Lian-Li case, and I've gotta say I'm totally impressed. My next case for my personal use will no doubt be a Lian-Li.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect

Pros: Solidly built, as long as you don't unscrew the support beam. Runs pretty quietly, but not silent. Looks very classy and nice; gigantic.

Cons: A little annoying to deal with when installing, especially since its fans are positioned along the middle. I got a Sapphire hd 6870 and it was so long that I couldn't position the fan on that side.

Also, I wouldn't trust the rack screws; keep it on the bottom rack, or a shelf for sure.

1 out of 5 eggsI hate myself for buying this..

Pros: Looks good in the picture. Packaging is solid.

Cons: I could kick myself for buying this. The case is tool small for V6 GT fan, and it would hold a full size PCIx card. because the cross support crushes the card. Take out the cross member support and the whole case will bend in your hand 30 degrees. I snapped a mother board because I tried to pick up the case with out the cross beam. Know I am out a very expensive mother board motherboard and have a (P)(O)(S) case.

Other Thoughts: I have looked at this cases for a long time, and finally bought one. I should have just ordered a barbones Z workstation from HP and been dont with it. Lesson learned. Dont try to make a workstation out of this HTPC case. Check.

4 out of 5 eggsESD issues

Pros: Very high quality

Cons: Two things wrong with this case that made me subtract 1 egg. First is just that I had to superglue in the hdd light because it fell out and into the case. The power light was also loose so that one is superglued as well. The second thing I recommend doing if you get this case. Run a wire from the screw in the center of the front panel on the inside to a screw on your power supply to ground the chassis properly. This will prevent you from shocking your computer and crashing it like I did when you go to turn it on or off...

Other Thoughts: I had shocked and froze my computer twice before rigging it up with a simple wire and now both my computer and I are shock free.

4 out of 5 eggsAnother good Lian Li case

Pros: This case is way above average, with a nice finish, plenty of room, and no sharp edges. The two 120mm fans in the middle hanging from the center support bar is clever and works beautifully. You can have a lot of air blowing right where it needs to without having to listen to fan noise. This case is a pleasure to work with, as there's just enough room and everything is right where it needs to be. Measured clearances inside case: 6.1 inches from top of mobo to top lid of case (less 1/4 inch for socket/processor height means about 5-3/4 inches clearance for coolers. 5.6 inches from top of PCIe socket to case lid. Maximum PCI card length is the full length of the ATX board itself, about 9.6 inches. If you remove one of the center fans, this can even be extended to over 13 inches--great for those who might use this for scientific/lab applications.

Cons: (1) There are no swing-out drive bay covers for the two drive bays, like previous Lian Li cases i've used. You put in an optical drive and have to see all the ugly logos most manufacturers plaster on the front. Usually Lian Li does a very classy bay door. (2) The screws that attach the rack mount "handles" are small and not likely to support the weight of the case. If this is to be rack mounted, it must be supported on a shelf or on slides. (3) No specific place to mount my 2.5 inch SSDs, but the drive itself came with a 3.5 inch bracket so it didn't hold me back. (4) Probably should cost about $25 less than it does.

Other Thoughts: This seems like a case that will fill a narrow niche. I don't think it's among the best HTPC cases, as it's very deep, the drive bays don't have covers/doors, and the sides have holes for rack slides. The PC-C32 is not among the best rack mount cases for a server room either, as it's a bit too lightweight, the rack slides aren't included, and it's not a standard rack panel height (larger than 5-1/4", but shorter than 7"). It does look great and the rack handles give it a manly, industrial aesthetic. I'm building an audio workstation that'll sit in a console in a home environment, and this case is ideal for this. I installed an ASUS M4A89GTD PRO/USB3 mobo, AMD 1090T, Antec TP-550 power supply, and a couple of pro audio and graphics cards.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: It is simply an amazing HTPC case. If you want a HTPC case that looks classy, has good airflow while quiet, and is big (I have big hands) than look no further. I did a lot of research and I am very happy with my purchase.

Cons: None!

Other Thoughts: My soon to be upgraded HTPC:

A8N32-SLI Deluxe
AMD Athlon 64 X2 4400+
XFX Geforce 7950GT with stock passive cooler

5 out of 5 eggsLian Li rack-mount case

Pros: This thing is sweet. It looks classy and very professional in a rack or just in/around your desk. So much room to work with. Quality construction with real materials. You can't ask for much more. The fan positioning with this case was nice also.

Cons: Fingerprints! but who cares right lol.

Other Thoughts: Do yourself a favor and pay the extra $ for Lian Li. Trust me bro.

3 out of 5 eggsNot really an HTPC case, Server/Rackmount case

Pros: It's a Lian-Li case. The Quality is there.

Cons: I'm not really sure why Lian-Li would advertise this as anything other than a server/rackmount case. It can double as a desktop case, but at 20.87 inches deep I couldn't justify keeping it just to get 2 x 120mm case fans instead of 2 x 80mm case fans that it's smaller PC-C33 brother has.

Other Thoughts: When it arrived I was surprised at how server oriented the box and instructions were. I'm not sure how this ever got marketed as a HTPC case.
