5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: This case looks fantastic sitting in an entertainment rack. Moving the fan out of the way before installing a power supply was easy and quick. Installing all the components was a bit of a challenge which you should expect with a case of this size and type. Don't hesitate to buy it.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case!

Pros: This case is the perfect case for a HTPC! It fits in great on my electronics shelf below my wall mounted TV. Blends right in with my surround sound receiver, Xbox 360, and HD DVR box. The full size ATX powersupply is a great feature. I am not sure why there are complaints about the power supply not fitting properly, I have a Thermaltake TR2 W0379RU 500W ATX 12V v2.2 Power Supply and fits perfectly with extra power to boot. I utilized one 3.5 inch bay for a 1.5 TB HDD for data and the second bay has a conversion bracket for a 2.5 inch SSD to boot the operating system and programs. The mobo has onboard HDMI with 8GB of RAM and an AMD A6 Llano onboard graphics card. I hopped back on here to see what video card to throw in it because with a wireless keyboard and mouse I have actually turned it into a gaming rig too! (Perfect system for Diablo 3 in case other Diablo fans are on here... rarely drops frame rates hence paring it with an AMD graphics card with crossfire)

Cons: It has a slightly longer depth than standard receivers etc. So it was a good thing i mounted my TV on the wall so that the PC could sit where the TV would be on the top shelf. Looks great regardless so I wouldnt consider this a con but if you need it to fit on a standard shelf... dont expect it to because its too deep and will hang off the front!

Other Thoughts: All around great case, I work for an embedded systems company and one of the engineers suggested this chassis to me and he didnt steer me wrong!

5 out of 5 eggsWell Designed

Pros: This is my second Lian-Li case. I bought this case for an HTPC build to run XBMCbuntu Eden. It's beautifully designed and comes with extra hardware.

Cons: The only thing is I suggest a space saving or modular power supply. It's a tight squeeze between the cd/dvd drive and the psu. You might have to relocate the installed fan to fit a full-size power supply.

Other Thoughts: Quick release should be installed for the support brace in order to swap PCI cards on the fly.

4 out of 5 eggsMostly Excellent

Pros: Beautiful. Quiet. Small. Well-constructed.

This HTPC replaced a similarly sized High Def OTA tuner as well as a stand alone BluRay player, and added DVR. Great space saver!

Intel-supplied CPU fan fits, keeps the box cool, quietly.

Cons: Power supply didn't fit. The Seasonic X-400/SS-400FL came into contact with the edge of the case fan. I was able to move the fan to the other side of the case. The power supply didn't block the fan opening, so air flow was not compromised. (I tried another ATX power supply I had around and - not surprisingly - it had the same problem as the new power supply.)

Ceton InfiniTV 4 Digital Cable Quad-tuner Card didn't fit. To be precise, the card itself did fit, but the CableCard from Comcast could not slide into the InfiniTV card because it is obstructed by the case.. Didn't see that coming. InfiniTV card is installed in a different case until I do some minor case modification to this one. I just don't have the right tool for nibbling away at the case.

Other Thoughts: It was annoying to have to move the case fan, but not a deal breaker. Mostly I was disappointed in LianLi's measuring ability.

The misfitting InfiniTV card is a bigger concern. I'm don't have metal shop tools...and I don't want to do a hack job on it!

4 out of 5 eggsWrong Dimensions Listed

Pros: Quality materials, plenty of venting, and highly fashionable. What you expect from a Lian Li branded product.

Cons: The dimensions listed on Newegg's product page are inaccurate. Newegg lists it as 17.1"x3.7"x14.9". The depth is closer to 16" rather than 14.9", which is a big enough difference so that it doesn't fit in my multimedia cabinet. The official measurements supplied by Lian Li is 435 x 107 x 400mm (W, H, D), or 17.1" x 4.2" x 15.75". That makes it also half an inch taller than the Newegg specs.

5 out of 5 eggsSweet High Quality

Pros: Great HTPC case, looks fantastic. Bigger then I expected but still a nice size, Room to work, descent cable managment, tight behind PSU and Dvd so go modular psu. Plenty of space for addtional hard drives if you get a bit creative. Case fans are dead quite. Bloodless install

Cons: My build issues were not realy cons. I had to move a fan from so PSU would fit and reverse both to blow in. Lots tiny screws!
Oh the dvd drive switch is a bit tricky to get setup or was for me, but that is more to do with the dvd.

Other Thoughts: This is my 3rd Lian Li case build, they are always great quality cases. I think they are over priced, but you do get what you pay for everytime, a high quality case. I was using old parts, so decided to splurge on this case, no regrets.

4 out of 5 eggsOnly one problem - Ceton InfiniTV 4

Pros: -A good low profile HTPC case
-Dual fans, very quiet
-Looks great

Cons: Only one - if you want to use this case with a Ceton InfiniTV 4 tuner cablecard pci card, there is a problem. The black top of the frame in the back of the case along with the overhang of the case cover hangs too low to install the M-cablecard (that you get from your local cable TV provider) into the Ceton InfiniTV 4. The case and cover essentially forces one to try to insert the M-card at an angle upward into the InfiniTV 4, upon which the M-card would not go in. I had to use an angle grinder to grind away the overhang of the frame and the cover to make it flush (or nearly so) with the chrome frame where the pci cards are accessed. A little filing the edges and a little matte black paint, sprayed in the can cap and applied with a cotton swab to the ground edges, and I was back in business. One egg lost for this alone.

3 out of 5 eggsDissappointed with HD mounting design

Pros: Looks nice.

Cons: Poorly designed internal layout.
CD/Hard Drive bay - should be more open to allow more air flow over hard drive. Rotating HD bay 90 degrees from CD and moving it closer to front of case should allow HD to run cooler w/fan blowing on it and would probably fit nicely.
Not enough fans and cannot turn fans around because the fins hit case, so you cannot change direction of blowing air in or out.
2nd Hard Drive take about 10-12 screw to be remove to install/replace. A much better drive bay design should have been used. Bay should have been moved closer to front of case and a 3rd 3.5" bay (probably) could have been added if button/panels were shorter or move to center of case (still might need to extend case a fraction of an inch for 3rd bay).
Would be nice to include a mounting/kit to install a micro power supply, instead of full size ATX.
Center support bracket has thumb screws on one end but not the other -bracket does not rest against case bracket, you have to line up screw to mo

Other Thoughts: It seems to be well manufactured - meaning that the screws line up properly and motherboard and normal size ATX power supply mount properly in case. It just fails miserably on the internal design with hard drive placement, but cannot blame manufacturing process.

2 out of 5 eggsBeautiful Case, Flimsy DVD Drawer

Pros: Looks gorgeous sitting in with my home theater equipment. Well thought out case

Cons: DVD opener is very very flimsy. In putting it together, a little black plastic piece popped out, now the opener won't close - for such a well put together case, this cheap piece is quite the oversight

Other Thoughts: Would have been a 5 but the flimsy opener knocks it way down, now my case looks sad
