1 out of 5 eggsDidn't come with HDD tray

Pros: The case is excellent, exactly what I was looking for.

Cons: No HDD tray, how in the world am I going to screw my 2HDD?

Other Thoughts: If someone know how to get the HDD tray please do let me know. I would really appreciate that.

5 out of 5 eggsNice Case

Pros: Plenty of room inside the tower.
Love the bottom mounted power supply setup.
Love the quick-mounting feature of the HDD cage.

Cons: No front-mounted USB3.0 ports.
Included fans are a bit noisy when controlled by motherboard fan headers.

Other Thoughts: I installed variable fan speed controllers between the MB & fans to reduce the speeds & noise.

5 out of 5 eggsEconomic & Quiet & not obnoxious

Pros: Most important: QUIET.
I am using computers mostly for biz (engineering/design), or maybe b/c I am over 40 (?) but I could never wrap my mind around people who would go for flashing, "see-thru side panel" or other gimmicks. This is a normal case that does the job, quality, cavernous (larger inside than you might imagine) and cheap. I added Corsair TX650 Version2 (?) PSU and it's fine.

I was hunting for a 'silent" or at least quiet case, yet with adequate cooling despite being silent - and found this (only a few others on the market as as good as this LIan in compromizing Quietness with good fans/airflow).

Cons: No, except it shipped from a foreign country & made me fell bad about American jobs, again

Other Thoughts: Need to get married.

5 out of 5 eggsLian-Li case

Pros: I just wanted a PC case to house a new PC. I didn't want flashing lights windows on the covers etc. Case needs to be functional and this case is definitely that. Lots of room for mounting Harddrives as well as Fromt panel drives, cdrom, etc. All of the mounting holes for power supply and motherboard line up exactly. Metal work is not flimsy and is well finished. Would definitely recomend this case to anyone. Plenty of hardware (screws, etc) are included.

Cons: None

5 out of 5 eggsGood buy, make sure your power supply cables are long enough!

Pros: This thing is solidly built (and feels like it!). The heavier material they built it with gives it some extra heft, which for me at least made me more confident in its durabilty. Access to the guts of the computer is straightforward, and it comes with clips that you can use to secure the cables so they stay out of the way when you're not messing with them. One of my favorite things about this case is the modularity of it. The hard drive bays can either be mounted so they face forward (like in most cases), which is probably easier for connecting everything, or sideways, so it's easier to get hard drives in and out of the computer. The whole front of the case is a mesh screen, which is definitely better for ventilation, and the power supply mount is on the bottom, which should make the case a little more stable due to the lower center of gravity.

Cons: Not many that I can think of. Putting the power supply at the bottom means that some of the innards of the computer are farther away than you'd normally expect. Your power supply might not be able to reach everything unless it comes with particularly long cables.

Other Thoughts: As I said before, make sure your power supply's cables are long enough, or else be prepared to invest in a new one to use with this excellent case. I mentioned the mesh being great for ventilation; it occurs to me that this might also make it easier for dust to get inside the system, so make sure to open it up and clean it out every so often so it doesn't get clogged up.

4 out of 5 eggsVery good case for the money

Pros: Not too heavy, which is what I wanted. Front mesh filter, decent cable routing for cleanliness. Reasonably easy optical/hard drive mounting. Front panel/fan cables reached my GB mobo (see other thoughts about the front fan). USB/audio ports on top front edge of case!! 2 near-silent case fans! No side window/LED's/other extras to add to the cost. 98% tool-less.

Cons: Mesh filter cannot be removed without taking the front cover off. Side panels slide off like any other ancient ATX case (see other thoughts). Power/activity lights are BRIGHTER THAN THE SUN (I cut the sticky part of a post-it note doctored with a black sharpie to reduce my blindness, about 1 sq. inch). You can still see the lights, but it's not a pain anymore.

Other Thoughts: Very sweet case for the money! Lighter than the other rigs I still have (both Antec cases). Bracket works fine for my single optical drive, just don't manhandle it when you snap it in place. Included thumb-type screws/o-rings for hard drive mounting work like a charm. I had to rotate the front fan 90 degrees so the cable would reach my mobo. The side panels on both my old Antec cases have a rounded 'hinge' that this case doesn't. You pop the latch and the cover simply swings out & off. This would have been a nice touch. Also, both old cases allowed removal of the front mesh filter without taking the cover off (they slide out from the bottom). Still an excellent, no-frills case I would recommend to anyone who wants to keep it simple!

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: Size of this case is perfect. It fits my GTX 480 with 850w Corsair pwr supply, 3 sata3 1tb in raid 5 with room to spare.
Almost as nice as P180 case for 1/2 the price.
HDD cage will rotate 90 degrees for better airflow from the front 120mm fan.
Will fit external water cooler.
Top mount USB and audio out.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: I have gone with 3 of these for my last 3 builds and I am wondering why I have been spending a bunch of $$$ on silverstone and antec cases that just get set on the floor.
2) i5 750 builds
1) i7 930 build

4 out of 5 eggsOkish

Pros: Affordable, good layout, good front port access, bottom mounted power supply.

The fans came with 3-pin connectors.

Cons: There are two screw holes in the bottom-left corner of the power supply mount, one on top of the other. I had to use a hacksaw to cut the edge of the upper screw hole off in order to get an Antec Earthwatts 380W power supply to fit. The power connector was hitting it, which prevented the screw holes from lining up properly. It mounted properly once I cut the bit of metal off and filed it a little. Definitely a pain though and I was worried I might mess it up.

The front bay covers can come loose quite easily. A better retention mechanism should be used in future models.

It doesn't come with thumb screws for the slot covers. Not a big deal.

Other Thoughts: Lian-Li's aluminum cases are clearly superior, but with a few tweaks Lian-Li could improve this case considerably for the more budget conscious. Hopefully a future model will resolve the power supply mounting issue and the loose bay covers.

If you want thumb screws for your slot covers, add a bag to your order for US$2.50.
