It has a motor, a transmission, and 5 additional rails beyond the one in th picture. Concequently, when the computer is turned on, the train will roll back and forth along the rails. The cheaper model (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112393) does not move. It has no motor. It's just a case that looks like a train. PROS: It moves! Cons: It's more expensive! Other Thoughts: I do NOT own this case, or the non-moving model.
