Clean modern lines combined with ultra-modern performance, Enlight's 7250-AK9 is a great tower set at an value-conscious price. Housing four 5.25" and two 3.5" external drive bays, it saves space by leaving out the redundant internal 3.5" drive bays made obsolete by today's expansively-sized hard drives and only set one. It also gives easy access to the ports for two of your USB 2.0 devices up front.

You'll have no trouble setting up your system, either. This cage offers screwless installation of all your external 5.25" drives. Likewise, you'll have no worry about accidental cuts or scrapes as all edges have been folded over to prevent that dangerous razor sharpness. The tray supports all standard ATX Motherboards, with seven PCI expansion slots in the back. This tower's entire interior is easily accessible with a simple to use screwless side door, hinged in the back for easier access. You'll never be caught fumbling with a screwdriver again.

  • newegg Usable Expandability with 7 Drive Bays Boasting four external 5.25" drive bays, two external and one internal 3.5" drive bays, the Enlight 7250AK9 provides great expandability.

5 out of 5 eggsCan take a beating

Pros: Awesome case!! I accidentally dropped mine from shoulder height onto a concrete driveway, and nothing inside sustained any damage. I ordered another one to replace my banged up case, though. It has plenty of room for what I need, and a nice classic look.

Cons: Minor things, but the front usb ports are recessed a bit too much which prevents me from plugging my flash drive in directly; also I'm always afraid I'm going to break the front cover when I have to snap it off to get inside the case.

Other Thoughts: Obviously the above cons didn't prevent me from buying another case. Overall this thing is built like a tank, and I'll certainly buy another when necessary!

4 out of 5 eggsA Sharp Looking Case Indeed

Pros: Excellent paint finish. All covers and trim panels fit perfectly. Not too heavy when empty. Interior spaces easy to install boards and cables.

Cons: You have to remove the front trim panel to remove the sides of the case. This is the one thing Enlight should change. If you're not going to install too many upgrades/changes, this will not be a problem.

The 3.5 inch bay bracket has to be removed if you want to install 2 screws per side per drive.

The "tool-less" drive install applies only to the 5.25 inch bays. It works okay, but isn't any simpler or faster than using a couple of screws to secure the drive.

The standoffs/posts were 6mm, rather than the more common standard 5mm. Enlight could have supplied more of them in the hardware package, as I then had to use the little inverted "U" shaped standoffs which clip in place (supplied by Enlight).

I'm surprised more front USB cables are not available. This motherboard has 6 available USB connectors for the front panel, and most motherboards have at least 4.

Other Thoughts: The concerns noted above are trivial, but you should be aware of them before getting out your screwdriver. In fact, the hardware supplied was adequate with the exception noted. I easily spent 10 hours on the web sifting through case designs. Most were either too flimsy, too expensive or too large and heavy. This is in that "just right" category/area. The case was shipped from CA to PA, and no damage! A Thermaltake power supply completed the case.

5 out of 5 eggsEnlight Delight

Pros: The 7000 series of Enlight cases are the best. They're built like tanks to last. They're professional in appearance. The 3.5-inch bay has side clips for easy removal. The motherboard tray is removable! This makes for easy and safe motherboard installation on the table where you can see what you're doing. If you drop a screw, it’s right there. All the standoffs and fasteners you’ll ever need are included.

Cons: Shipping charges on cases are high. Encourages you shop for free shipping.

Other Thoughts: Systems should be breadboarded - built outside the case - for first post and boot. The removable tray is then built up and easily installed in the case. Go FedEx!

2 out of 5 eggsOH BOY

Pros: Good solid case

Cons: Recieved the case to build a new computer. Got everything put in with no problem at all, go to start up the computer and nothing happens. So of course I check all connections and settings...still nothing. I begin to test every part one at a time with an old computer. After about three hours of searching I find that its not the parts...but the power switch is broken.

Other Thoughts: Not really sure what to do yet. I really dont want to send the ENTIRE case back just to get a new switch.

But other than that im pleased with the case...

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Budget Case

Pros: This case is sturdy and quite roomy. It has
enough bays and expansion slots for a non-gamer
such as myself. The tool-less bay design is
also a real plus and you can add a fan to the side
vent if you like, (I tried it out.) It's a case!

Cons: The only thing I might consider to be a con
is that you have to take off the front of
the case to access the interior. This isn't a
drawback for me, but for people who like to tweak
their hardware a lot, this might be an annoyance.

Other Thoughts: I chose this case for my first build, a budget build,
because of it's low cost and roomy interior; I didn't
want to be fumbling around in a small case the first time
out. I'm really pleased with the case and with how easy
it was to install the motherboard and other components.
This was money well spent!!

4 out of 5 eggsGood Case

Pros: Good case, nice lines and nice exhaust outlet.

Cons: Punch outs for 5.25" drives need to be cut out, and have life threatening sharpness about them. Fan is extremely noisy. Power led plug is 3 holer, most microatx use two pins for this, had to snip the plug into two parts to get the LED to work.

Other Thoughts: Kale is cabbage, deal with it!

5 out of 5 eggsSuper case, low price

Pros: Heavier metal than others in this price range, slick "no-screw" installs in the 5 1/4 bays, edges are no too sharp.

Cons: none

Other Thoughts: To open the case, the front bezel "snaps" off. I prefer access by removing the screws at the rear, minor.

5 out of 5 eggsSturdy and All Business

Pros: This is a really great product that's fallen under the radar. If you just want a nice, business-type case without all the LEDs and other garbage, this case is a perfect fit. Tool-less design is excellent - the front bezel removes easily and sides slide off smoothly. The tool-less drive bays are great, as well. Sturdy and well made. A good investment.

Cons: You may need a pair of tin snips to remove the RF guards on the front of unused 5.25" drive ports. Case is BIG - so much so that you may have trouble making your IDE cables reach to the drives. Unknown if this is a problem with SATA as well. Comes with some unnecessary air-channeling devices which are easily removed.

Other Thoughts: A great case for a great price. Worth the purchase. I'd buy EnLight again in a heartbeat.
