4 out of 5 eggsNice Case, Customer Service Lacking

Pros: Beautifully sculpted case.
Includes water cooling.
Big!
Lots and lots of fans.
Windows versus screens option.

Cons: One side door rattles.
Unexplained fan behavior.
No replies from customer service.

Other Thoughts: Prettiest case I have owned. Lots of room inside!!! I put one plexiglass window in for show, one mesh screen for airflow. Added some blue lights. Holds an Asus PX58D Premium mobo...plus anything else I care to throw in there. One side door rattles but can be quickly adjusted. I'm not sure I would have placed the power switch and connector ports on the top...tends to be a dust trap, prevents stacking anything on top of the case, plus makes for some weird connections if I plug in a camera, etc, up there. The combination of the liquid cooling and the multitude of fans keep the temps down. The SIM unit/program...well, there is room for improvement. Instructions not clear...be sure to select your proper case following installation. When I bump the case, the fans sometimes kick into high and there is nothing I can do to turn them down aside from rebooting. I have tried several times to contact customer service and have never had a reply...very disappointing and drops an egg.

5 out of 5 eggsSLAMMIN CASE!

Pros: Easy Water cooling, good monitoring system, sound insulation everywhere where it is needed, plenty of space for upgrading, almost everything is removable for easy installation. Best case I have ever owned. Very skeptical due to never hearing of Ikonik but now I will recommend to everyone. AMD X6 running at 30 C idle and tried pushing it and temperature only went up to 38 C.

Cons: Reverse the tubes on the reservoir to ensure proper flow. MAKE SURE YOU SETUP THE SOFTWARE IMMEDIATELY OR THE SOFTWARE WILL TURN THE PUMP OFF UNTIL THE PROCESSOR HEATS UP. I noticed the pump turned off, felt the tubing near the processor was hot as heck. Turned off for a half an hour. Turned the system on and saw the settings were turned down to the lowest setting. Make sure you also properly mount all of the thermal sensors or the fans will not initiate properly.

Other Thoughts: The case is huge!
AMD X6 1055T
ASUS Crosshair IV (Northbridge & Southbridge Arctic Silver mod
8GB GEIL Black Dragon DDR3 1600
WD 64GB SSD
WD 1TB SATA 3 6.0GB/S
Scythe 120mm Slipstream fan sitting over the 5670's.

Windows boots in 15 sec.

2X ATI 5670 1GB in Crossfire setup
Windows 7 64bit Home

4 out of 5 eggsgood value

Pros: good price case with full LCS and dual quad 80mm fan rad, tooless design, easy to install

Cons: like the other reviewer said, 1 magnet near the front panel came off

flimsy cause design, the top shouldve been aluminum as well, the side panels doesnt seem to be holding on that well but given the price, its a no complain

i'm docking off 1 egg cause the case is huge, but not good enough for u to add in more rads when needed, the top/bottom rad is only long enough for 3-3.5 80mm rad so its not a full quad, the 2 bottom fan should be grilled since theres wires around it

Other Thoughts: overall this case is in nice value, but buying it 3 days too early to miss the free 7'in digital frame sucks

i was able to fit a blu-ray writer and a dvdrw in the top 2 bays, a card reader in the bottom bay, then squeeze a black ice single 120mm rad in between and slip some small piece of card board in between to hold the rad solid and another single 120mm black ice rad at the bottom near the 2 fans for video cooling as a second loop of LCS, the stock LCS is used to cool the mosfet and cpu which stays around upper 30'c in idle/light load which seems OK for the performance

wouldve been nice if they put in screw holes for you if you wanted to change out the back/front fans for the rads, and if the top were aluminum and the 4 legs were removeable then it wouldve been 5 eggs easy

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome case

Pros: Amazing quality. Thick metal, sound deadening EVERYWHERE, fans are whisper quiet, plenty of space, ease of installation. Overall 10/10.

Cons: wasn't free. Manual is garbage. not very clear. If you know your way around a computer it will be no problem.
Last but not least I installed everything inside go to boot and found out either my board or processor (or both) are defective.

Other Thoughts: All hail mighty NewEgg for great products and great customer service!

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing

Pros: first thing you see cosmetics, black brushed aluminum with the natural shiny aluminum highlights absolutely amazing. everything in my case was in perfect working order except a couple leds in the fans. the cooling is ridiculous processor is room temperature no matter what i do(Phenom X6 OC 4.4Ghz) and completely blows everything ive ever seen out of the water.

Cons: I stubbed my toe carrying it in the house. and i didn't get a free taco.

5 out of 5 eggsI love it!

Pros: Nicely made. All of the supplied fans are pre-wired. The MB support is removable, so you can easily mount the MB and then install the whole assembly; you can hide wires behind it to keep things tidy. The HD bays allow very easy installation of the HDs. Ikonik supplies 6 temp probes - these are very handy.

Cons: One of the two magnets used to keep the external drive bay door shut came loose (in shipment?). A non-hardening adhesive would have been a better choice - I used silicone adhesive to reattach it. Very minor - not worth losing a egg over. The manual is very brief. Plan on assembling this over several days so you have time to think out how it should be assembled. The water hoses to the pump reservoir were attached backwards. Given that heat rises, the water flow should be pump, CPU, upper radiator, flow sensor, lower radiator, pump. When backwards the pump is fighting hot water's desire to rise, and the water-block keeps draining when tuned off. I switched the hoses on the reservoir and all is well. Finally, the PC's SIM control software loses connection with the SIm when the machine sleeps, and doesn't recover connectivity when re-awakened. Right now I don't let it sleep, but having the pump work 24/7 worries me.

Other Thoughts: I think water-cooler manufacturers tend to forget that the MB has multiple sources of heat (not just the CPU). I made a very tidy installation, wired the temp probes to various points, and found that areas of the MB were running pretty hot. Since the case can handle an EATX board, there's space to the right of the ATX board I used. I bought a couple of 80mm fans, made a bracket from 3/4" angle aluminum, and now have two fans quietly moving air across the MB. Temps are now good.

4 out of 5 eggsAwsome Case

Pros: Awsome case, great design, pre wired fans and SIM makes it a breeze putting together your rig, Also great water cooling system. Easy to get up and running. Also the case looks absolutly great. The pictures dont do it justice. 400 is a little pricy but well worth the money if you have it. See cons for the reason for only four stars.

Cons: I'm not sure if newegg or IKONIK did this, but when it arrived the Hard Drive bays cage was bent inward. atleast the top half is. Also the Water-Coolant hold/pump plastic brackets were broke in half. So now i have to freakin RMA it or im thinking maybe just winging it. I only have 2 HD's so i can make that work and i can glue the plastic tabs back into place.

Other Thoughts: Other then those 2 cons i would have gave it 5 stars.

5 out of 5 eggsSUPERB VALUE

Pros: Very well built case, with enough room for anything I can think of.The liquid cooling system w/2 radiators and the SIMcontroller added to the very nicely designed CPU waterblock make this a bargain.Add up all the good quality fans, the hi cap LCS and a huge study case and believe it or not this case is a bargain-even at over $400.Nice features like the toolless design ,really neat HDD trays and mechanisms, the hinging reconfigurable expansion slot bracket, and even the cool removable and replaceable optical drive cover plates PLUS the wiring is all done for you and with all those fans and the controller, thats ALOT of wiring that you dont have to do.I have a Asus P6T7Supercomputer,w/920DO CPU,apair of Asus ATI 5870s,4WesternDig 1T HDDs,and2DVD+2Bluray opt drives in this baby.Theres still TONs of room left and this thing never even gets warm.Theres plenty of capacity in this cooling system to add full board cooling,I believe the rads are big enuff to dump 5000W of heat.GREAT CASE,GREAT PRICE

Cons: NOT a con, but,I added a monitor just to display the SIMs system info- you get great displays of all fan speeds, all the temp probes
(also part of the cases SIM unit)can be put where you want and displayed,by using the info this gives you,the fan speeds can be dialed in to your liking -only a con if you dont want cool displays with lots of tweakability, that you will probably spend hours playing with-not because you have to(the SIM will do everything automatically)but because it's fun to see how cool you can make your expensive components run-which makes them last longer-more added value.Add to that all the info that theAsus mobo and vid cards, and this place is gonna start looking like a war room- not a Con for me,perhaps for the wife tho-lol.NEWEGG,its great to see you're offering this case again, and it gives me an op to finally review it after enjoying it for 6 months.I've been anxious to get the word out on this great product. Its a shame cases that arent certain brands get dissed.

Other Thoughts: If you're in the market for a case,or even if you're not but you have a bunch of components that you want to last until you're tired of them,DO YOURSELF A FAVOR,and at least READ the REVIEWS about this case, they are out there- just google reviews for this case and make sure its for the liquid version.Don't shy away from this case because it isn't a certain brand that's better known,Ive done this and lately Ive been disappointed,I think tough economic times have made the big brands cut back on quality, hoping to rest on their laurels. But this company is fresh and aggressive, when you see this case you'll know that they know what people want.I do fab work, mostly automotive, and I still wonder how they sell this much quality materials and workmanship at that price.BTW,Ive heard alot about the 1/4"rad fittings, but in my experience with heavy equipment and hydraulics, reducing the outlet side is often done to restrict flow,so the fluid spends more time in the rad, giving it more time to dump hea

4 out of 5 eggsAlluminum Case with Liquid Cooling Solution.

Pros: This is a Killer Case if you have the room and the need to have expansion and keep it all very cool you cannot go wrong with this case. The tool-less design is mostly first class and makes it easy to install the motherboard, cards, and storage devices. The HDs were especially easy to install with positive locks and the front access covers have a neat spring activated lock. The liquid cooling is awesome the 13 fans are not that loud (big surprise). There is a slight clicking from the coolant flow gage especially when set to the high speed performance setting. In the quiet mode it really quiet and my core i7 940 is a cool 85 degrees F. even under full load. The case has the best cable management of any case I or my tech head neighbor has seen. The few Cons mentioned below are really very minor issues . This is nearly a prefect case as long as you have the room for it. The cooling system is really a no brainer and makes this a real value. There is Lots of room in this case. My sys

Cons: The door slots (hinges) were open too much allowing both side doors so much movement that my 2.5 yr- old daughter opened one of them from the hinged side and broke the locking latch on the opposite end of the door. It was an easy fix to squeeze the hinge channel with a pair of sheet metal tongs so that it is now tight and is beyond being maneuvered by the tiny inquisitive fingers of a toddler (be careful not to over do it with this fix as the metal is near it's breaking point and will not take much in the way of being bent). The latch has to be re-installed. One of the temperature probes for the SIM is not functioning and will require replacement. The SIM module required the addition of an internal USB connector that is if you want to have all the USB ports on the top of the case functioning (that is with a Gigabyte EX58-ud4p MB) I would assume the same issue for most other MB as it was mentioned in some of the reviews I read before ordering from NewEgg. The Case is Big but is not as

Other Thoughts: Bought from NewEgg and am very happy with the shipping and transaction details.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice!

Pros: First of all, this case is perfect for the big mobo and extensive GPU's you can handle. 12+ inches of clearance for everything on the motherboard, built-in removeable tray for easy modification, easy access to everything inside, Liquid Cooling startup was easy, very fast pump. Fans and Pump are easy to control via S.I.M. software. Again, plenty of space for everything.

Cons: Case was damaged upon delivery, rather than wait, I fixed it and moved on. The water cooling gauge on the top rattles alot, especially when run at performance speed. I'll see if IKONIK has a remedy. Top power LED plug was incompatible with motherboard, instructions on how to place the thermal sensors on the fans and block was non existent. Must have a know-how experience, yes.

Other Thoughts: This case comes compatible with the LGA 1366 socket backplate, perfect for the core i7 chip. The best chip so far, and with SLI or CrossFire, you have the cooling necessary for a wicked gaming platform, add a northbridge cooling block for 80 bucks and it comes with extra fittings to attach the block into the cooling system. Definitely a bang worth the buck.
