5 out of 5 eggsClassic

Pros: As others have stated, this is an elegant case with a classic design. It's all aluminum so it's light but well made and sturdy. There's plenty of room inside and the sliding motherboard tray makes installation a breeze. There are 3 80mm fans, 2 front behind the hard drives, 1 top and 1 in the back so there is plenty of cooling. Side covers are easy to remove and replace since they fit perfectly are mounted with thumb screws. Fit and finish is quality all the way. The front bezel is also all aluminum and mounted with hex srews; very solid design. There is a removable/cleanable filter in front of the front 2 fans that reduces dust intake.

Cons: There is some room for improvement. I wish it had just two 120mm fans (front and back) instead of mulitple 80mm fans. The top blow hole fan does not move much air and might better serve as a passive intake. The mesh metal front cover over the filter is easy dented. There's not much documentation and it took some trial and error to figure out how to connect the front audio ports.

Other Thoughts: I highly recommend this case but for the money you might also consider the cheaper, mostly steel, Centurion 5 CAC-T05-UW. It has a 120mm fan in the back. If the weight of the case and sliding motherboard trays are not big issues, then it is probably a better vale.

5 out of 5 eggsgreat case, love it.

Pros: Great simple, elegant design, aluminum chassis is lightweight but sturdy also. Buttons are not cheap plastic but aluminum as well. Slide-out mobo tray made my first build very simple and easy.

Cons: The Power LED is extremely bright and at first I thought I could ignore it, but it's getting kind of annoying now.

Other Thoughts: Do yourself a favor and remove the top fan- makes a marginal difference in cooling and your comp will be dead silent. I got a fanless graphics card and motherboard so my computer is very quiet.. After I install my Zalman 9700, I expect it to be almost as quiet as my laptop

5 out of 5 eggsCLASSY

Pros: Looks good, works good. It's an elegant, classy looking, simple case. The sliding mobo mount makes things a bit easier when assembling your machine. The hand screws make things much easier when you have to go in and out of your machine. Has the proper amount of fans to keep my system (Neo HE 550 PSU, Auss P5WD2-E P MOBO, 4GB Corsair XMS2 Ram, Pentium D 930 CPU, dual WD Caviar SE16 SATA HDs, dual DVD, floppy, SIIG Firewire 800 PCI, BFG 7900GTXOC PCI-X) cool.

Cons: Getting to the front fans is a bit of an issue ... other then that - yummy.

Other Thoughts: It's just an elegant case - when there are so many cheesy ones out there ... it's nice to finally see something that's classy.

5 out of 5 eggsFine Case

Pros: I bought this case back when it was called the ATCS. It came with the side window panel. I've since built 3 systems inside it and it is pretty painless case to work with. Thumbscrew accessability has made all manner of upgrades and adjustments simple. I still have the noisy fans, but with an added Z*lm*n 9500led on the processor it idles at 35C and never goes above 42C under load. Replace the fans if they are too loud, otherwise enjoy the performance.

Cons: I'd prefer a rail system to the screw down setup in the drive bays.

Other Thoughts: *After three years this is still a really nice looking case, and it is simple to do hardware maintenance and cleaning.
*Get the windowed side panel for this, it really ices the cake on a classic case.
*The motherboard tray is a little sticky pulling out.

4 out of 5 eggsPraetorian Case (Silver)

Pros: *Good design for airflow over harddrives.
*Seems to have enough room.
*Solid construction
*The aluminum looks sexy

Cons: Might be a little tight for long video cards. I put an X1900 in mine but it fits.

Other Thoughts: Good case.
I would recommend it.

5 out of 5 eggsBEST CASE EVER

Pros: This Case is great, everytime I open the case the inside is always -=DUST FREE=-. Filter cleaning is a breeze, if you have a air compressor >:D simply open the side panel and spray from the inside and watch all the dust fly away. In conclusion, Great Case, Keep everything REALLY cool, and it almost muzzles the sound(s), clean design makes this a great case to have.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: CASE + AIR Compressor = DUST FREE inside + Easy Clean out of the filters

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: Everything fits properly in a well-built, good-looking case that has seen me through a couple generations of computers. No regrets in purchasing it.

Cons: Yes, they could have given about two seconds more thought to come up with a better air filter arrangement. You can however successfully vacuum it from the front.

5 out of 5 eggsVery clean

Pros: Excellant build quality. No sharp edges or corners. Love the motherboard tray. Lots of fans and quiet. Found I ordered replacement fans for no reason. Perfect mid-twer case.

Cons: Wish it had more HDD room. But it is a mid-tower not a full.

Other Thoughts: All aluminium with four 10K Rapters installed. Was worried about noise. Each HDD four has a silicon washers between the drive mount hole and cage. I don't hear the HDD's. Period.

3 out of 5 eggsCleaning air filter a real chore

Pros: Looks nice, lots of room, removable mobo tray, mostly tooless installation

Cons: The front intake air filter is ridiculously hard to get at. To do so you must remove the front panel, which is held on by six screws and dangles at the mercy of the power and reset button leads. After that you must remove the metal grill, which is in front of the intake fans/hard drive bay. It warps and dents easily, so be careful and keep a rubber mallet around in case you need to bang it back into shape. After that's off, unfold several tabs holding the filter screen in, and voila, remove it and vacuum. Putting the grill back on is hard as there are no clean-cut screw holes in it, just rough patches taken out of the mesh, so it takes some adjusting to get it flush with the front of the case.

Other Thoughts: This case is pretty excellent, but unfortunately the fans and filter do their job well, which means you could easily clean the filter every week. Doing so is a knuckle-scraping, screw-dropping, trial-and-error mess. I *almost* regret getting this case for this reason alone.
