5 out of 5 eggsOld Dog still has it

Pros: I've had this case (Model number may have changed over time) for over two years now, it's just had it's third build installed. The fans all still work, the components stay cool, and the filters keep the dust bunnies out. It looks clean and professional and I've never had trouble parts or or connecting ports.

Cons: I have to build a second rig now, and the full open case has spoiled me, after half an evening shopping all the cases here, I find myself looking at the same beast again.

Other Thoughts: Make no mistake, it is a huge case, with the wheels on it I can touch the dome panel, and I'm six feet tall. If your hurting for space, this won't be the one you want.

5 out of 5 eggsBest case IMO

Pros: - No door on the front!! Easy access ;-]
- Plenty of room for components and cooling.
- Room for two power supplies.
- Reconfigurable drive bays for either more HDs and/or more CD drives.
- Cool looking.
- Comes with TONS of screws and accessory parts.

Cons: - Heavy (what do you expect w/ a case this size?)
- Definitely NOT a LAN-party case. Need a flatbed truck to get it around...

Other Thoughts: Simple and utilitarian. All the frills are in the usefulness department, not just fancy looks. I'm not 14 years old and I don't need an alien spaceship on my desk...this thing is clean and sharp looking!

This is the best case I have owned. The thing is bigger than the others and VERY well made. The price is very good for what you get. I have seen similar cases that just add a door and some LEDs and cost way more.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Size, decent fans, looks OK

Cons: Way too many. Motherboard and usb/firewire cables way too short, next to impossible to seat cards - needed to pry faceplate slots open with a screwdriver, small ledge next to bottom edge of motherboard makes it near impossible to plug in power/reset connections. WAY TOO MANY SHARP EDGES. If I had started building the computer when I received the case instead of a couple of months later, I definitely would have returned it. Possibly the worst case I've worked with.

Other Thoughts: Get something else

5 out of 5 eggsgreat case

Pros: Great case, easily had enough room to fit my water cooling system. fans are quiet.

Cons: price

Other Thoughts: There is 3 2.0 USB ports on the front of the case, my motherboard(ASUS p5k-e) only supports 2 front USB plugs. I also ordered the clear side window. It increase the ridgeness of the case as well as appearance.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Solid, good looking, power supply on the bottom makes for neat wire routing.Penty of room.Power switch bay moves also,I put it on the bottom bay, neater wire routing.

Cons: pci cards do fit in hard but doable. Not quit as good of quality as Lian Li cases.

Other Thoughts: Rear outside grills removes easy, replaced with generic guards for air flow.Repalced the 3 120 fans with 3 pin 120's to fit MB fan pins to cotroll rpm's.

5 out of 5 eggsWell worth the money.

Pros: This thing is enormous! You'll not have any problem getting around inside this case. The thing is one giant vent as well. The cost was well off-set by the inclusion of all four fans, with filters, and side and bottom vents built in. Will serve my 850 watter well :).

Cons: The advertising is false for the "removable motherboard tray" feature. As soon as I opened the box, I found a note from Cooler Master stating that the tray does NOT come out. What the heck? There were however, instruction for how to open up the workspace a little more, basically by taking the tray-side of the tower with the back of it as well, and separating it from the case. Not very handy, but it's so enormous, inside, it's not a big deal.

Other Thoughts: Good going Cooler Master! The tower is bigger than my dog!

5 out of 5 eggsHUGE Improvement!

Pros: There is nothing that won't fit in this case. Air flow is amazing. The 120mm fans that are included are quiet. It's a dream for anyone that works on their computer regularly. Comes with wheels and everything else you could possible need.

Cons: It's big, especially the depth from front to back. The mounting method leaves drives with some wiggle room. You could put a screw in to hold things, but that defeats the purpose.

Other Thoughts: This is an amazing case. It's wide open inside and easy to install parts in. It has lots of extra screw holes that can be used for water reserviors or other accessories. It's so easy to work in this case and there are no cross braces in the way, it's wide open. This is one of the few true Full Tower cases I've seen.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat (big) case

Pros: This is a basic, large tower case. It's bottom power supply mount allows the PSU to pull in cool air rather than hot case air. Just a big simple case. Very quiet.

Cons: Had to move the front accessory panel down to the middle of the case to have the wires reach the headers on my mobo. Other than that I had the known problems of the PCI card tab slots needing to be pried open and the PCI card hold down support needing to be bent in. This is not really a high end aluminum CoolerMaster case. It is a basic steel case with a lot of utility but pretty basic construction.

Other Thoughts: The second card in a SLI setup will be close to the power supply but it is not that big a deal. There is still sufficient airflow for my dual 8800GTX cards. They run hot but are completely stable.

One of the reasons for the quietness is fairly low airflow so you may need higher CFM fans. I don't overclock but my system is a pretty good heat generator never the less (1000w power supply, 680i mobo, dual 8800GTX, E6850, 4GB, etc.) and it runs completely stable with the stock fans even though it is in a somewhat poorly ventilated equipment closet.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: The power supply sits in the bottom of the case!! Looks awsome! Lots of room for expanding in the future. Easy to work with. Good solid construction. Highly recommend.

Cons: I have 4 120mm case fans running in this case and it is kinda loud. But in most situations thats the price you pay for a cool case with out liquid-cooling.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case, Confusing Model Numbers

Pros: Great case if you have a bunch of drives and need a large, well cooled case. If you purchase 2 additional 4-in-3 modules, you can fit 12 hard drives plus a DVD and a floppy drive.

Cons: NewEgg's model numbers and pictures make selecting the right version difficult. You need to purchase additional 4-in-3 modules (or 5.25"-to-3.5" adapters) to mount more than 4 hard drives. No support for BTX motherboards, single power supply mounting location.

Other Thoughts: NewEgg has several Stacker 810 cases listed but they don't describe the differences very well and the pictures are not accurate. After receiving the wrong color, I decided to research the differences between the models and post them. Here you go:

- STC-T01-UW - Silver; Dual Power Supply Locations (top & bottom); ATX, mATX, BTX, mBTX motherboards
- STC-T01-UWK - Black; Dual Power Supply Locations (top & bottom; ATX, mATX, BTX, mBTX motherboards
- RC-810-SSN1 - Silver; Single Power Supply Location (bottom); ATX, mATX motherboards
- RC-810-SKN1 - Black; Single Power Supply Location (bottom); ATX, mATX motherboards

If you are looking for accessories, here are some part numbers:
- STB-3T4-E1-GP - 4-in-3 drive bay adapter with fan (case comes with 1 of these)
- RC-880-FKR1 - 3.5" drive bay cover (case comes with 1 of these)
- SPB-S01-E1 - PlexiGlass side window - Silver
- STF-B01-E1-GP - Cross-flow fan
