2 out of 5 eggsNice Case, Unacceptable PSU

Pros: For a case in this price range, the quality of materials and the fit and finish of the case are excellent; far better than most of the competition.

Cons: Defective PSU

Other Thoughts: This is an extremely nice case from a purely hardware standpoint. The chassis is really sturdy, everything fits properly, and that isn't so common in this price range. I have no issues with the quality of any materials used in the case. Removing the covers for the 5.25" bays is awkward and counter intuitive, and requires removing the fascia plate. but that's a minor gripe in view of the high quality of the rest of the hardware. Given the price point of the case, I'd have given it a 5 star rating, if only it had a functional power supply.

After the build, the system wouldn't boot. When I put a power supply on the PSU, both 12 volt circuits were at 11.4 volts. One of my bench PSUs booted the system just fine.

Looking at reviews of this case, the one consistent complaint that I consider significant is power supply issues. Very nice chassis, lousy PSU. I can't recommend this case.

4 out of 5 eggsCMP 350

Pros: Cheap case, especially since it has a psu. Ups got it here a day early.

Cons: Psu is 360w, not 500w as advertised. Took an egg off for that, although I shouldn't have as its neweggs fault. I'll purchase else where for my next build.

Cons: not really a con but more of a wish , power supply in my opinion should have been a 600 watt but of well that's why they sell other power supply

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Basic Case

Pros: Decent room to work, Great airflow, decent power supply for basic needs.

Cons: lack of good interior hardware, for the money felt it should have come with quick mount drive hardware.

Other Thoughts: I bought this case for my new pc build for my personal video editing rig. I did not buy it for flash, or for high end gaming. I bought this for a reliable base for my new system. I feel that is what I got at an ok price. There was plenty of room to work, I did not feel cramped in this mid-tower. The power supply is ample provided you are not running an SLI rig or an obnoxious video card. With only one case fan I can feel the air being sucked in the front from only the rear exhause fan so, awesome. The case cables were plenty long as well and were properly routed. My only mild complaint is a lack of hardware for the drives. I expected more out of cooler master than just screws. I have owned cases by antec, lian-li, raidmax, and many lesser makers and just expected a bit more in the hardware department from such a marque name.

2 out of 5 eggsGood case, faulty power supply

Pros: Case is very sturdy, well designed and easy to work with.

Cons: Power supply broke within 10 mins of use.

Other Thoughts: The power supply broke within 10 mins of use, not even long enough to install Windows. Didn't file for return, as I couldn't just return the power supply by itself.

Manufacturer Response:

Good Afternoon Brian,

I apologize your power supply in your Elite 350 is not working correctly as you can apply for an RMA Request through our CM Fanzone along with your New Egg Purchase invoice and Serial Number for the Power Supply at the links below.

2 out of 5 eggscheaply built

Pros: Looks good, PSU has worked fine for me so far

Cons: I bought this with all of the components for a build I'm doing for a friend. About halfway through the tabs that clip the front on started to break off. I had to take it off maybe 4 times during the build and now I'm down to 3 of 6 of the tabs that haven't broken yet. I had to drill the case and put some screws in it just to hold the front on.

Other Thoughts: I know this isn't top of the line, but I would have just gone with some of the cheap $30 cases had I know this was practically the same thing with a coolermaster logo on it.

Manufacturer Response:

Good Afternoon Frank,

I apologize your Elite 350 is not working correctly as you can apply for a Parts Request for the front panel through our CM Fanzone along with your purchase invoice and serial number at the following link:

4 out of 5 eggsSolid power supply and tower

Pros: plain, black and smooth case, back access, and pretty led. power unit is sturdy and pre installed.

Cons: fan is somewhat loud, nothing I can't handle. There is also small lines of paint across the blue LED strip.

2 out of 5 eggsLies

Pros: Nothing really.

Cons: As expected from the price the case itself was cheap and somewhat flimsy, but this tower is just a basic tower and isn't going to have anything on top of it or around it to worry about the weaker metal making a difference. The biggest drawback for me was the blatant lie on the power supply by the part of either the company or newegg. This item DOES NOT come with a 500W power supply it only comes with a 360W.

Manufacturer Response:

Good Afternoon Valued Customer,

I apologize you're having issues with your Elite 350 as the case is available with a 350, 400, and 500 watt power supply. According to the listing you ordered a 500 Watt variant as I suggest you contact New Egg with your purchase invoice for a resolution.

Product Description Overview from New Egg Product Page:

"It's powered with a quality 350W, 400W, or 500W power supply and boasts a life-time of 100,000 hours with protection for OVP and OPP."

Please let me know for further questions.
