5 out of 5 eggsPretty nice

Pros: Nice looking case. Hidden drive doors. Power supply included. Good for budget builds. Professional looking.

Cons: Had to modify the button push lever to work with the Samsung DVD burner drive. A rubber case foot pad was glued to the push button lever inside so that it would line up with and work the button on the drive behind the door. No eggs deducted because of price.

Other Thoughts: This case looks professional.

2 out of 5 eggsCheap

Pros: It holds everything together

Cons: Very Cheap construction. Loud psu. Enermax lied about Rebate. Sent everything in as requested and waited 3 months. Enermax said I didn't send in the upc and I know I did. I'm done with them.

Other Thoughts: Think twice about rebates.

4 out of 5 eggsEffective Case

Pros: Purchased at a cheap price. Sufficient power supply. Easy installation of components.

Cons: The tool-less design of this case could be improved. The doors that go over the 5.25" bays did not line up with the CD Drive that I installed so I removed one of them. Side vent did not line up with my processor fan so I removed it.

Other Thoughts: This build was for a run of the mill business computer that is used for running office programs and surfing the net. It works great for my intended purpose and it's not back to look at.

3 out of 5 eggsYou get what you pay for.

Pros: Roomy, inexpensive case, with good air-flow once I added to after-market 120mm fans.

And it came with a psu, albeit not an Enermax as I hoped.

Cons: It's thin metal, so don't buy this if you plan on handling it alot. And the dvd slot opening mechanism is a bit cheesy.

Other Thoughts: I used it to build a moderate powered gaming rig for my son to play WoW, and for that it was perfect.

5 out of 5 eggsGood with rebate

Pros: Used this for a budget HTPC build, not worth full price, but good deal with a steep discount. You get what you pay for, the case does the job and looks OK. No problems with the included PSU which I'll eventually replace.

Cons: Hard drive lock in mechanism is kind of a pain. Took a few minutes to figure out, not that hard, but no instructions.

Other Thoughts: Decent case for the price. Worked good for my HTPC build.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Case, Good Price

Pros: Power supply included, front filter, and nice design, Good value

Cons: Metal is a little too thin, you have to be careful where you pick it up at. Somewhat delicate

Other Thoughts: shipped fast, rebate, and included PS.

5 out of 5 eggsFWIW

Pros: The included PSU make this case a great buy. One must have feature I looked for was the 120mm fans because they move the most air without the noise.** The corrugated front panel improves air flow over the previous flat panel design. I care more about the function and design but everyone tells me they like the sleek looks. The Tool-less latches will keep drives in place and make for quick installs.

Cons: This is a newer version of the Pandora series. The previous version had a removable-washable front filter. If you use the 3.5" exposed sllot for floppy, super or zip drives often, you might encounter some inadvertent power or reset switch hits when you try to eject the disks. I had to cover and/or disable the switch in some cases. There is a 3/4" clearance between the eject button and the power/reset switches.

Other Thoughts: This is my 3rd round purchase of the Pandora Series case for mission critical desktops that run 24/7.

Note to Enermax: Enermax use to make just power supplies back in the day. Why would you put a no-name PSU inside your Chassis products? I would put this as a con however, the 4 boxes that I have running 24/7 (40% rate) are still running within spec after 2 years. Not a fault by any standards but I initially needed to stuff an AT form factor board into this box (FlexOS and Socket 7 ownz you). The system board standoffs are raised indentations and not screw in type PCB standoffs so in one instance I had to press down the raised sheet a few spots. This case will handle any ATX form factor systemboard, even on the plus side.

**of course if you don't mind the noise 120mm fans have a lot of headroom for options up to 150+CFM. Lets see any 80mm fan move that much air.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Pleased With Customer Service

Pros: Product is well built. The hardware that comes with the case is very good. The installation of all hardware was easy.

Cons: No case fans. However, fans are easy to install. I don't like the CD-Rom flop open doors. I can't get to my CD drive and I can't see the activity LED.

Other Thoughts: This is the first time that I have bought from NewEgg. The service has been very, very good. I am amazed at how good customer service has been to me. I had a couple of problems with my order and they took care of it very fast. I will buy from this site again.

3 out of 5 eggsWorth it at $30

Pros: Reasonably attractive (not ugly, at least); thin metal=light weight; tool-less drive clips & expansion slot retainer; quiet; 400W p/s included; 80mm fan included; thin metal=easy "massaging";reasonably well constructed for budget case; arrived w/out damage (not true of different case ordered @ same time); easy enough to work with; laterally adjustable eject button extension block for 5.25" drive cover plate; cost $30 after shipping and rebate (which I haven't received yet); p/s hasn't fried anything yet

Cons: Advertised w/485W p/s when I purchased; thin metal=flimsy; not enough tool-less clips for all drive bays, plus it seems only 1 clip per 5.25" (still not enough included); cheap construction overall; p/s seems extremely cheap (it is NOT an Enermax); above mentioned eject button extension block was too long (a little sanding took care of that)

Other Thoughts: If you can get it for $30 like I did then go for it, otherwise don't bother. It doesn't scream cheapness, and is solid enough when assembled, but there's no denying it when you're working on it. Fan and p/s are pretty reliable and quiet right now, we'll see how long that lasts. I'm not overly ecstatic about the p/s not being what was advertised, but it's a budget build, so it shouldn't matter.

Manufacturer Response:

Dear Value Customer,

Where did you get the information that is a 485W PSU? I believe we advertised as 400W PSU on both title and specification on Did you misread the model Pandora 185 as 485watts? But if we did made some typo please let us know @ toll free 888-778-7878. Thank you for your help.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice Indeed!

Pros: Nice looking case. Very easy to work with. Roomy inside. Has holes for different sized fans. Nice drive holder clips. Filter in front grill. Plenty of screws and standoffs.

Cons: Wished I'd ordered more with MIR.

Other Thoughts: I installed a 120mm fan in front and back. Removed the side air duct and installed a 80mm fan to blow air torward CPU. Then installed another 80mm fan on Side Vent for exhaust. Have great airflow now to keep my Athlon 64 X2 4200+ and 9800GT Video card nice and cool.
