3 out of 5 eggsNice case yes it has problems

Pros: Looks nice and very compact

Cons: Overheating and short power cables.

Other Thoughts: I wanted to post on the issue of the overheating. To deal with the overheating problem I had I just attached a regular 60mm fan I had on the outside of the psu grill where the fan is located . I just attached with wire zipper thing.I put the fan in position of exhausting the hot air out of the psu. Thats all it took to fix that problem. I see the problem as the psu doesnt kick enough air out and then the system overheats. Plus the cpu fan makes a differents. I have an athlon64 processor and I used a low profile fan from SILVERSTONE NT07-AM2 and it cooled very good. overall u can make this case work and lol have fun customizing it. p.s. I got a 8600gt nvidia and I game with it. it runs awesome

1 out of 5 eggsDO NOT BUY THIS CASE!

Pros: None

Cons: POwer supply wiring is a piece of bull manure.

Other Thoughts: Do not buy this case. You will regret it.
The power supply has only ONE SATA power connector, on an ultra short cable. No adapters, no extenders. Barely reaches the hard drive and lays across the CPU fan. Destroyed my hard drive connector when I slightly raised the drive cage to move a wire, and the SATA power connector just ripped the darn drive connector to shreds.
This case design is a piece of caca. Do not buy it unless you are stoooopid enough to do so after reading this.

4 out of 5 eggsOverheat Issue Resolved

Pros: I like its Small size that make perfect for caring around to show H264 movies on HDTV

Cons: Like other users comment, I have the heat issues with the case. I’m using it for AMD Phenom 9600 (95W), 1x500GB Seagate SATA, 1 SATA DVD burner. The system will shutdown after 10 minutes. I got the case a few months ago when it was on sale at Fry’s and can’t return now. So, I have to try fixing it myself. I brought the most powerful and low noise 120mm fan I can find at Fry’s and replaced the one inside the power supply with it. Replacing the fan is not an easy job and you will have to break the warranty seal in order to open up the PSU. I wouldn’t recommend for most people. However, I can now enjoy the case.

Other Thoughts: Prior to replacing the fan, I have tried it with a smaller CPU, Intel E6320 (65W). Even with less power consumption, the system still shutdown after a few minutes. Another option will be replacing the PSU with the 350W. It can be purchased at the Antec website.

3 out of 5 eggsChanged My Mind

Pros: -Compact
-Solid Construction

Cons: -Needs Custom PSU
-Custom PSU is only 300w
-Nicks and dings make it ugly and dingy fast

Other Thoughts: I posted a 5-egg review after my first month with this case, back when it was called the Antec Aria. My initial impressions were positive since it was obviously a well made product. Its construction does well to dampen the noise from fans and it feels very solid.

However after running my pc in this case for over a year I no longer can suggest this case to those who want something compact. For one it gets too hot. Heat has been a constant battle with this case. Also the PSU is only 300w and is custom built. So if this PSU breaks you have to order a replacement from Antec, and no upgrading your wattage.

One of the attractive things about its appearance are the soft walls on the side of it. I'm not sure what material it is but it feels really nice and thick. However the material is easily dinged up and gets to looking ugly pretty fast.

I was running with on board graphics(ATI R600), using low voltage ram(1.8v), installed a 2 bay Antec exhaust fan, and still having heat issues.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent case for it's purpose

Pros: I have purchased 8 of these over the last 1.5 years and all have performed better than expected. Intel Core2Duo w/ stock HSF, 1 500GB HD, 1 DVD-RW, 2GB RAM, and hung in an outdoor element-proof box running 24/7. Survived the Texas summer and winter with no issues at all.

Cons: Power supply is proprietary due to the case form factor so when 1 arrived DOA, had to wait on Antec warranty service to replace it. Antec was very responsive, easy to contact for an RMA, and had a new PSU returned to me within 2 weeks. That's 2 weeks of downtime but overall, not a deal breaker.

Other Thoughts: If you're loading the thing up with gaming hardware, expect it to overheat. If you just need a simple computer and use everything onboard the mobo, with 1 optical and 1 HD, it's going to last you without overheating. I doubt others are putting theirs in the elements like I did so indoors should run like a champ. Consider your use.

4 out of 5 eggsDecent small case

Pros: Small size saves space and makes it easy to carry. Front USB and audio ports are convenient. The brand is well-known and trusted.

Cons: Components (such as the hard drive) tend to run warmer than in larger PC cases. Airflow is limited, and you can't add any additional fans.

Other Thoughts: There are only 2 drive bays (the external 5.25" bay and an internal 3.5" bay), so that could be a limiting factor.

4 out of 5 eggsSmall Case

Pros: It is a nice looking case, small and compact, and the blue lights give it some appeal.

Cons: Dang PSU, the overhang gives a lot of problems installing a good heatsink, I had to purchase another heatsink/fan to fit and that on was very tight, Antec could have given a little more space. The could have added a least 80mm fan vent, incase you wanted to put them in.

Other Thoughts: A good case, but the PSU and lack of fan vent would have made it better. Now I have cut into one of my side panels.

1 out of 5 eggsTerrible heat issues

Pros: Nice looking and small.

Cons: Could not keep my ASUS M2A-VM Athlon 64 X2 5600+ system cool. Motherboard would overheat, and the system would lock up or spontaneously reboot. Case is so small there is no place to add another fan to solve the problem. Had to replace the whole case with one with better fans.

Other Thoughts: Complete waste of time and money because of heat problems that could not be fixed.

2 out of 5 eggsCute case but Power Supply a problem

Pros: Cute. Small form factor. Space for 3 hard drives and a DVD.

Cons: Like the other poster, my power supply quit after 13 months of service. It is an odd puppy so you must buy a replacement AR300 from Antec and wait over a week to get back in service , or get a new case. New case for me.

2 out of 5 eggsNSK1300

Pros: size, ease of m/b installation

Cons: wasted space, underpowered, case is misdesigned, it only holds 3 hard drives if nothing else is installed.
undercooled and underpowered.
cheap p/s - my p/s fan died within hours

Other Thoughts: antec engineering is over-controlled by the marketing and graphics department.
