5 out of 5 eggsGood budget box

Pros: Cheap when on sale. Good budget case at a price and far better than a typical "out to the lowest bidder" $30 case. Nice roomy case typical of mid-towers.

Used a BP-550 Antec PSU. That PSU blows air out the back, intake from inside case. Some don't like that but unless your case is seriously hot inside the PSU gets filtered air if you think your airflow through. In my dusty environment this is better than sucking air right from the dusty floor if bottom vents exist, or just above if sucked from lower back side or even top back in a top PSU case. I'm happy with this layout and that supply.

With a GIGABYTE GA-G41MT-USB3 Mobo and BP550 all cables reach although some could be a tad longer if you are into cable management. I'm not. I just want the wires away from the fans :-). Biggest cable issue would be the Front Audio to far lower left corner of that board- no spare cable for management. No biggie.

Cons: Decent no problem case but not quite the caliber of the Antec 300. At regular price the 300 is only $10 more and well worth a couple bucks unless you need the 200's features (see below). The 300 Illusion is only another $10 for two very nice fans (at $5 each) preinstalled with controllers. The way Newegg sales work, though, I got tempted by the 200 at half the Illusion's price at the moment. I'll pay in the end if my 4 WD GP drives need more airflow, but the 2.5" hotswap is nice and I'm using it to make a Linux Server that could be a backup Win desktop for my wife. Don't mind me, I'm just spoiled by the 300, which I love even more after working with this fine and inexpensive case.

I don't like the supplied 4-40 peripheral screws. The heads aren't deep enough or they aren't quite "standard" and don't work with my usual PC build screwdriver. Comes with lots of screws, though. Just a minor thing.

Other Thoughts: If adding front fans look at the Antec 300 Illusion, especially on sale. A pair of tri-cool front fans will cost $40 and for about that you get a 300 Illusion (have owned for 1 yr), which has better hardware, a better front fan gate, better front air filter, smoother door latching and proper reinstallable expansion slots. OTOH this case has the 2.5" hot swap and 2 fan controls on the back. At $35 after rebate and sale price this was tough to turn down but in retrospect at $50 or even $60 I'd rather have the illusion. Not sure I want to try to find decent $5 fans-you get what you pay for.

The 2 fans are quiet and probably same grade as the 300. I got a stray 4 pin MOBO power cord stuck in the top fan and ran it for some time like that. It survived :-). Had to push it up once from underneath to get it to start without a kickstart after that stupid mistake. We'll see if it has an early death.

5 out of 5 eggsBrewer

Pros: Very good quiet cooling with top 140 and rear 120 w/speed sw on low
Power supply on bottom
Good price point (with rebate)
Plenty of gutter room
Hot swap 2.5 is good backup with old laptop drive

Cons: No 3.5 external.... found a 5.25 card reader for less than an adaptor. What's a floppy?

Other Thoughts: 4th Antec case. Never dissappointed

4 out of 5 eggsSolid, strong case

Pros: 1st build - Antec's 200 is nice and solid. Easy to get in and out of, good room for plenty of components, 2 pre-installed exhaust fans are a nice touch. I installed all of the optional fans just to keep everything running cool.

Cons: Top 140mm case fan blades unattached when received and wouldn't work when remounted. RMA'd fan. Also, very tight fit with mobo right up against case fan. Suggest remounting and raising as much as mounting holes will allow to get a little extra space.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Seems like a very sturdy case.
Both fans worked perfectly and everything fit with more than enough room to spare.

Cons: The sides are somewhat difficult to re-attach. No matter how hard I tried, it was impossible to get them completely flush with the case again.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Great case with top and rear fan to help keep inside cool, Love the front vent and dust catch to help keep the inside clean.

Cons: I wish the HDD ports were turned to the side but still able to pull a HDD out without moving the PSU.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case, great value.

Pros: Plenty of bays for whatever you need. A case that you can grow into if you plan on adding things later. 2 front USB slots are at the very top of the case, means you can get to them easily even if you keep your system on the floor, also makes it possible to easily plug something in and rest it on top of the case. Sturdy case with lots of room to maneuver. Good, quiet fans and good fan placement to keep things cool. Bottom-mounting for power supply is good. Nice to have the hot-swap. Really a good case all around, and a great value at its price point.

Cons: The headphone and mic jacks in the front aren't labeled, neither are power and reset buttons. Very minor, but good to know if that matters to you.

Other Thoughts: Front of the case reminds me of a TIE fighter. I bought this for my first build and I've loved it. I just picked up a second when it had a rebate available.

4 out of 5 eggsNot Bad

Pros: Intuitive setup
Front panel is easy to access
Runs quiet
Hotswap bay is pretty slick.
LOTS of extra screws! :D

Cons: The height of the motherboard off the side wall is about 1/8" too short. I can't screw my video card into the back, as it will essentially be unplugged at an angle. Probably could be fixed by doubling up on the brass risers, but I just put this thing together!

Other Thoughts: I don't know who they think they're foolin with the front side "Air filter." Unless it's statically charged like the rest of the machine, it's just a thin sheet of foam.
