4 out of 5 eggsEasy Budget Build

This review is from: Corsair Graphite Series 230T CC-9011040-WW Grey on Black with BLUE LED fans ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Excellent Cable Management (No Rubber Grommets - no big deal for me), Numerous Fan Mounting Points, USB 3.0 Front Panel, Generous room behind Mobo for cables and CPU cooler.

Cons: No front Panel Speaker wire hookup. Legs on case are somewhat short could be higher.

Other Thoughts: Overall, a great case at a very reasonable price with good looks and a nice tidy look when you properly route your cables. Good job Corsair

5 out of 5 eggspowerful yet compact case

This review is from: Corsair Graphite Series 230T CC-9011040-WW Grey on Black with BLUE LED fans ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: For benefits i have to say that this case has all the benefits of a full tower case minus the extra hard drive cages. for a mid tower i was able to upgrade and pack almost as many upgrades (extra fans, liquid cooling, fan control, HDD and SSD drives, etc.) as i would a full tower plus having the change to go two way crossfire if i upgrade my power supply. given that you picked a good motherboard with low profile memory, you can avoid paying the extra money for an over sized Frankenstein computer and go for a super compact yet very customize able tower like this and still get nearly all the same features in a smaller package.

Cons: the only con with this case is that if you want to go all the way with custom liquid cooling you can do 2 things.

1 (and i did this) the rear 120mm fan mount has TONS of clearance for MASSIVE ultra thick radiators and fans with push/pull configuration. if you want a custom loop for your system i recommend you go for a thick rear 120mm rad to cool all your components.

2 according to specs and attempts you do have at least 1 inch of clearance up top for dual 120 or 140mm fans and/or a radiator. however you will not have that for both unless you have a micro ATX motherboard (remember the low profile memory thing i mentioned?). if you plan on using a dual 120 or 140mm radiator you have to mount the fans outside the case. this will look a little weird, but works nonetheless. this is why i recommend you go for a thick rad on the rear since everything can be mounted INSIDE the case and get nearly the same heat dissipation. and keep your top mounted fans neatly inside the case. this is the only con i know of and is nothing to get frustrated over :)

4 out of 5 eggsNot Bad.

This review is from: Corsair Graphite Series 230T CC-9011040-WW Grey on Black with BLUE LED fans ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Affordable designed, fits standard size hardware comes with usb 3.0 ports, good cable management, you can take the HD cage out and have enough room for a full liquid cooling setup.

Cons: None

Other Thoughts: Always replace the default case fans for better performance brand name fans.

My son loves the Battleship Gray, Black case and the Blue LED fan theme.

4 out of 5 eggsExcellent case with some minor flaws

This review is from: Corsair Graphite Series 230T CC-9011040-WW Grey on Black with BLUE LED fans ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: +++PROS+++
1. Very slick design, the doors coming off the front is pretty novel and I liked the texture of it all. The window is very spiffy and hides the front components while highlighting the board and graphics card.
2. Case fans were included (although not used; see CONS for more info)
3. Front USB3 header is a flat cable, very easy for cable management
4. Cable management wasn't too bad, zip ties in the back were very much appreciated.
5. Dust filters aplenty, minus the roof (this will be fixed with a radiator at some point...Time to break out the panty hose)
6. TONS OF THUMBSCREWS INCLUDED!!!
7. Box of spare parts was very nice
8. Pre-installed mobo standoffs and nubbin for the easy board installation.
9. Plenty of cable management holes in the case for routing cables.

Cons: ---CONS--- *in no specific order*
1. The case fans that were included were rather difficult to remove, and when putting in the new ones, I had to remove the 2.5/3.5 drive bay and dropped an already inserted hard drive (not under power)
2. The rear bottom power supply mount was a little cramped (my aging PC Power and Cooling Silencer 610 needed some extra force to sit correctly and required some slight modification on the power plug plastic to fit right)
3. The top grill is completely open, no filters or covers.
4. Front panel is a pain to remove
5. Case felt a little flimsy with both doors off.
6. The cable management in the back could have more loops included, and maybe an extra quarter/half inch in the back
7. Power buttons were quite hard to push, might take some breaking in.

Other Thoughts: I purchased this case through another site, but felt like putting this review on here as well, it's an excellent case and there aren't a lot of reviews for it here.

Aside from the few complaints I had, it's a very solid choice to make for a new case. Tons of airflow, plenty of mounting for cooling and rads, great cutouts on the tray for cable routing. Get this case (but don't spend more than $80 for it, shop around)

3 out of 5 eggsProbably won't buy this again

This review is from: Corsair Graphite Series 230T CC-9011040-WW Grey on Black with BLUE LED fans ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Nice tool free case (requires screw driver for motherboard). Drives are easily inserted. Plenty of room for a dual height graphics card and third party CPU fan and heat sink.

Cons: Could be a pain in the neck routing the cables through the back and into the front.

Small power button.

4 out of 5 eggsworth what you pay for

This review is from: Corsair Graphite Series 230T CC-9011040-WW Grey on Black with BLUE LED fans ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: great cable management and zip ties.
2.5 drive bays for SSD loved it!
clean case design and feels solid internally.

Cons: the side panels feel too flimsy and hard to remove and replace. I like how my previous Raidmax Smildon folded out. I had issues putting them back on with some cables on back side of motherboard after some rearranging it was easier.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

This review is from: Corsair Graphite Series 230T CC-9011040-WW Grey on Black with BLUE LED fans ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Wanted the black & red, they go out of stock every other day. Settled for the silver. Which all & all is much different than the pictures. Not as bright a silver. Great open inside concept, Small window, Mulitple fans included & more locations for extras. All black inside, Hiding almost every cable behind the motherboard. Much nicer than my last tower.

Cons: None really.

Other Thoughts: If your worried about space, then I guess get a Full size tower. This is a great Mid-Tower for 75$

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Balance

This review is from: Corsair Graphite Series 230T CC-9011040-WW Grey on Black with BLUE LED fans ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: Plenty of room, attractive, affordable, designed to fit standard size parts. USB 3.0 ports work without problems, fans are adequate (not as loud as some like to claim, but 3rd party would obviously be an improvement).

Cons: Power button is too small to be comfortable to press (hardly worth worrying about), drive bay covers are stressful to remove and reapply (cheap plastic-be careful), Acrylic window constantly gathers dust. Eventually I stopped caring.

Other Thoughts: The cons about this case are hardly something to rule out this build. This case is perfect for a new PC builder as it doesn't have any crazy sizing requirements. So long as you get a standard ATX motherboard (Also compatible with larger size), standard hard drives (3.5 inch)(also has small slots for SSDs) and standard drive bays (5.25 inch) everything should fit well.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Case!

This review is from: Corsair Graphite Series 230T CC-9011040-WW Grey on Black with BLUE LED fans ATX Mid Tower Computer Case

Pros: This case is great.

Motherboard standoffs are pre-installed with a few extra, the middle most standoff was a reverse standoff (had a raised bit that fits into the mobo hole) which helped hold it in place. This made the mobo installation VERY simple, thank you Corsair :)

The HDD and SSD installs we very simple as well, warning some wiggle room with the SSD tray but that doesn't bother me.

Plenty of room for cable management in the back side of the case also.

My Noctua nh-u14s fit inside this as well, which that is a MASSIVE heatsink, so plenty of room for those big heatsinks if you are looking at those. Also can hold a corsair h100/i on the top if you wanted to do so.

This is a great case at a good price. It is not super flashy or the absolute best, but it is amazing in my eyes. Love the blue colors and love the window so I can see the amazing hardware :)

Cons: SSD has some wiggle room once installed, could be an issue if you travel a lot, but it won't fall out so it doesn't bother me much. Just something to consider.
