4 out of 5 eggsGood case for the price.

Pros: Very cool looking case. The blue metal looks sweet compared to most black/gray cases. It's a quiet case, the 250mm fan on the side and the 120 in the back blow a lot of air and keep it cool. The fan controller on the front is helpful for limiting noise when you're not gaming. The number of internal optical and hard drive bays is more than enough. The glowing blue fans on the side and back as well as the blue glowing APEVIA logo on the front look sweet when the lights are off, it lights up anything near it. The front panel covering the power button and disk drive looks cool.

Cons: The cable management is terrible, nearly as bad as a OEM case from a prebuilt computer. The best way to go about managing cables is to either get a modular PSU, or shove the unused cables in the spare optical drive bays. It can still look reasonably decent if you use a bunch of zip ties to keep the cables out of the way. Another con is the front door panel. It isn't as much of a problem for me, since I keep my computer in sleep mode most nights, but it's a hassle to have to open it (very noisy and have to smack it to get it shut) each time to turn on the computer or use a cd. There arent any usb ports on the front of the computer and only two on the top, although you could fix this with a cheap usb hub. Another slight con, the feet lifting it off the floor are extremely slippery, made of smooth plastic and not rubber like most are.

Other Thoughts: Overall a good case for someone not looking to spend $100+ on a computer case. One of the temperature probes is labeled for "HDD Temp", which is rather pointless... When i got the case, the usb/audio ports on the top were shifted out of place, it just took a small push to pop them back into their slot. One major thing is the blue metal of the case isn't fluorescent as the pictures suggest (seems like they used a flash for the picture and it didnt quite turn out), but rather a cobalt blue.

4 out of 5 eggsGood csae for the price

Pros: I've used a few cases in my time, and while this one is definitely not the best, it is FAR from the worst. There is a good amount if space, the no-tool drive bays are pretty easy to work with, but you probably will not need the spacers the case comes with. The top-mounted USG ports are very convenient. Plus unlike some of the reviews here have mentioned, mine did have the 250mm fan (almost silent!!!) included and mounted properly. A 250mm fan with blue LED itself is going for ~$25 these days, making this case a great deal! Not to mention the other 120mm fan.

Cons: Mine did not come with thermal tape to apply the thermal sensors. Not sure if it's supposed to but it would be much more convenient than buying a single sheet/pad of thermal tape.

Other Thoughts: A few people have mentioned that the front door panel is hard to close...just use some pliers to bend back the prong a bit and you're set.

Also, mine had a factory made date of May 2007, so this is definitely not the most modern, but it does the job well for a $30 case.

5 out of 5 eggsVery Nice Case

Pros: Very nice case for my intended build. Building a budget gamer for my 7 y/o son and as long as the case was blue and it worked, he was estatic! Case has a layout that made the build a snap. All LED's, ports and sensors worked fine for me.

Cons: The rail system for the hard drives and optical drives wouldn't fit the standard drives. I had to slide them in and screw them down without using the tooles system

Other Thoughts: A ton of features on a case purchased for 30 bucks, can't beat it!

5 out of 5 eggsnice looking case

Pros: good case for a cheap price. not sure why it says it only fits a motherboard 11x12, it should be 12x11 i believe since my board is 12 x9 and it fits just fine.

Cons: - front is hard to open and close

Other Thoughts: also for everyone saying it should come with 2 120 mm fans it really doesnt . this case with the 120 mm fan on the side comes with that fan and another fan just as the manual says. this case comes with 1 250mm and 1 120mm.

4 out of 5 eggsBoss case.

Pros: Great looking case! The Blue LEDs are bright enough for good looks, but not obtrusive to my rooms light source. Easy effective tool less setup. Plenty of drive bays, with a nifty rail installation system.
Great Fans!
-Both Fans are quiet and provide good cooling.
-Easy setup for fan speed nob.
All the switches worked well upon first setup.
Not cheap feeling at all, wonderful case overall!

Cons: Why only 4 eggs?
Clips on the PCI slots are extremely cheap, had to remove the Graphics card once, and two clips broke.

Other Thoughts: Overall a good case, good of been made of metal or slightly stronger clip for 5 eggs. For 30 bucks great case, I'd recommend it in a heartbeat.

4 out of 5 eggsUpdate to earlier review

Pros: For $30 this case is rather nice. I wrote a review shortly after opening the box and powering up the system for the first time and have some updates to present.

Cons: Only came with (1) 120mm fan, not (2) as it is pictured. The LEDs on the fan that shipped with the case were DoA. Removing the HDD bay and entire front bezel to install/swap the front case fan is a bit tedious, but what isn't when building a computer?

Other Thoughts: I figured out the issues I mentioned in my previous review regarding the temp display and 120mm case fan. I didn't realize it until I retraced all of my cabling, but the connectors for the temp sensor and fan were installed BACKWARDS. I discovered this when I went to change out the OEM connectors for UV blue molex connectors. Basic human error during factory assembly. The temp sensor works fine now and the system fan is spinning, but LEDs on the fan are still no go. I bought a couple of CoolerMaster 120mm fans and swapped them both out. Never a single response from Apevia regarding the issues, neither here or from direct contact through their site. I'm in the process of constructing a website showing case mods in step by step videos and pics. Reviews of the products used will be part of that as well. This will most likely be my one and only Apevia build based on their Customer "Support", or lack there of. I'm a Senior Level Technical Professional for one of the three major computer companies and therefore, I am VERY unforgiving when it comes to failed Customer Support. All that said, the case is still solid and has some nice features. It is a nice case for the price as I said before.

Manufacturer Response:

We try to reply to all calls and e-mails as soon as we can. You can contact Apevia's customer service at service@apevia.com or call at (909) 718-0789.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent Case, Poor CS.

Pros: High features for the price. Large intake fan and common sized 120mm fan. Removable Hard drive tray. All Hardware included, with extra fan screws. Comes in variety of colors for personal preference. Plenty of drive bays. Comes with post beep speaker mounted.

Cons: Lacks cable management options. No motherboard heat sink cutout. Hard drive tray faces HDD connectors on fan side. paint gone around some screws. Front drive door hard to latch close; Paint already wearing off top of door with 4-5 uses. 250mm fan extra thick, limits air cooler size. Instructions poor, does not indicate front panel wire color polarity, have to go by the only 2 wires labeled to figure out.

Other Thoughts: I received the case and it was shipped in it's retail box straight from Apevia. The case was being bought for a commissioned build and the gentlemen was going to drive a few hours to pick it up. I do the normal out of the box inspection as soon as it arrives, and find that the side panel fan has 3 wires with broken insulation, and one wire is completely broken off. Normally not a big deal, as you get a damaged product once in a while. I take pictures and call Apevia, and then it went south from there.

They direct my call to customer service, who informs me that the fastest way to get it fixed is via email, and to send them an email to get the problem resolved. So after trying to send them emails to both their tech support and customer service with failed delivery, I call back, a total of 5 times, ending up with the same tech support guy who does both customer service and tech support. I'm informed that he can't pull up my order information without going through email.

So when I finally get the email to go through to them, I receive a message from them stating that they can send me a new fan if I pay the shipping to send it to them. I had already explained the situation in the email about the build and the gentlemen coming to pick it up, but I would still have to RMA my fan in first, and wait until they received it, and then wait for them to send me the new fan. There was no advanced RMA option, and I'd end up delaying the build past the customer's promise time, by at least a week and a half. All for one measly fan.

I've had the case for less than 24 hours, and the whole experience has been mind numbing with all of the calls over something so simple. The customer is comfortable with us fixing the wires in house, and in the end is faster, cheaper, and less of a headache than dealing with Apevia. I will no longer use Apevia products in further builds until the service improves to at least manageable levels.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: -SOOOO stylish
-temp readouts on front panel
-HUGE intake fan over all your components
-easiest drive installation/removal in any case I have ever seen

Cons: -won't fit the Hyper Evo 212

Other Thoughts: Pretty much my own fault, but i was really disaspointed when i slapped my i5 3570k on my mobo, put the Hyper Evo 212 on it, and the copper barbs bumped into the huge intake fan. LAME!!!! now my system runs with the side panel about a 1/2 in. from the case (looks so sloppy lol!) until i can manage to think of what to do.
