1 out of 5 eggsBuilt cheap

Pros: Holds all the components together and looks good.

Cons: I seldom review products. They have to be really good or really bad before I will do so. This case is the latter.
I ordered the case for my son. I let him select the case and he chose this one for its looks.
There are several aspects of this case which stand out to me as being bad.
The most glaring was the power button. It didn't work. Attempts to contact the manufacturer were to no avail. I picked up a similar one from an electronics store and replaced it myself.
The PCI slot covers are the snap off type. So if you add in a card and then remove it, or just remove the wrong one first, then you have an open hole unless you have or purchase a slot cover for it. Sliced my thumb removing one.
The whole framework is very thin and feels like it will break. It hasn't so far and he has had it for over a year now, but it has a cheap feel to the thing.

3 out of 5 eggsNice looking case

Pros: Cool looking case with all the gauges on the front, very convenient. Not too heavy, Big window on the side to see inside. Has a nice glow to it from the blue lights, looks really cool at night.

Cons: Wish it had a couple more fans (top, another side,). Not the best case for extreme builders but is a nice starter case if your just looking for something cool looking. Not the best for airflow, front fan is blocked by the front door.

5 out of 5 eggsStill works

Pros: Great Color, fans still spinning, everything works. Not a single problem.

Cons: Fans are a bit noisy, but they are fans...what do you expect?

Other Thoughts: Want something that works right out of the box? We'll you found it.

4 out of 5 eggsSqueaky wheel

Pros: pretty
lotsa fans
customer support is helpful if you refuse to take no for an answer

Cons: built for looks, not for reliability
not really for a 'serious' builder
apevia cs is... stubborn
ALWAYS bright

Other Thoughts: This is an update to a previous review. I had an issue with the wiring after about a week and a half. Thankfully, ASUS tech support figured it out when I called thinking it was the board. Despite what manufactures and retailers say, my motto is 'forgiveness is divine, but never pay return shipping for defective merchandise'. At first, apevia wouldn't even do that. They offered me a length of wire to repair the faulty power button. Eventually, after my continued emails, they caved, and are honoring the claim on their site that 'our strategy is to stand behind our customers to ensure total satisfaction'. Bold words. A better strategy for the future might be making your products a bit sturdier instead of relying on the hassle of the RMA process to keep returns down. Again, the case is very pretty but until the replacement arrives, I have to bridge the power pins on my board with a screw driver to get it to post. I am not fond of bad touching my shiny new computer like this.

4 out of 5 eggsAzul!

Pros: Pretty.
Fan controller (only 50-100% but VERY quiet either way)
Very quiet
easy to work with
analog dials are nifty

Cons: door feels a bit flimsy
directions SUCK (but still told me what I needed)
kind of a cord monster (I just jammed all my cords in extra 3.5 slots, kinda kills the idea of a side window a little)
front fan is blocked by the door
no way to dim/kill the lights (I'm thinking about cutting some wires and trying to put a switch in)
front port jacks are bent/flimsy

Other Thoughts: Read the reviews for the same case in different colors.

Some reviews mention a bad VU dial. Mine seemed bad at first, but by adjusting the volume on the speakers and the volume on my OS, I got the dial to work right and made my sound better.

The front door/cables feel pretty flimsy and are made of plastic, but if you're gentle it should be fine.

It sounds like I'm trashing on this case but I'm not. It's very pretty for a labor of love first build but has some failing points. I want to share this with other buyers while still saying I'd buy it again.

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It's very pretty.

Inside the case is spacious and easy to work with.

Cons: The wiring to the front panel being visible when the front is open seems a little cheap - too bad it wasn't designed with a proper hinge that the wiring could have been run through instead. On the other hand - we almost never open it.

The metal is a bit flimsy.

Other Thoughts: It does look very nice - I bought this for my gf's build and she's very happy with it. It has no serious issues.

4 out of 5 eggsRETRO??

Pros: Pretty cool case. Lights up well. Good airflow. Stays cool. Has a retro/classic car look to it with the analog guages and chrome on the front.

Cons: This is the case my wife chose because of lack of more "girly" choices. So, perhaps, more color options. She would have been very happy with purple for example.

3 out of 5 eggsNice but flawed

Pros: I bought this case for my wife, who loves the aesthetics. The case is very nice looking and is relatively sturdy. Seems like a good value for the money, at least at the rebated price. I had absolutely no problems building my wife's computer in this case.

Cons: The gauges don't work all that well. As analog gauges they just don't give precise enough information to be useful. I'm not sure the VU meter works at all.

The LED lit side fan that came with the case has one LED that flickers on and off. It's an annoyance, but not a serious defect.

After a couple of months, the computer has started sometimes powering down (instantly, not an orderly shutdown) when the front door is closed. I'm guessing there's a short in the wire bundle that runs from the main case to inside the door (carries signals and power for the meters LEDs). This is a serious defect. We'll see if Apevia will stand behind their one year warranty. Unfortunately, the problem didn't show up until after Newegg's 60 day return period was over.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat case - just a little on the small side

Pros: Sweet aesthetics, fairly large, side panel window, plenty of HDD and optical drive spaces available, front gauges are nice

Cons: Cramped when loaded up with a big GPU i.e. ati radeon 5870, could use more room for cooling, front door closing could EVENTUALLY lead to wires fraying if you're not careful

Other Thoughts: This is a pretty great start-up case for a beginning gamer. I have a Gigabyte ga-870a-ud3 motherboard and an ati radeon 5870 GPU powered by a 775 watt thermaltake toughpower xt power supply. I also have asetek 510LCLC liquid cooling and I have modded its radiator by adding a 2nd fan for push-pull. My case is now very cramped lol I am surprised how quickly I filled it because it's actually not too small. The problem is the power color pcs+ 5870 GPU has PCI-e power connections on the short side of the GPU so the cables stick all the way into the 3.5" bays of the case. I have 2 HDD's there but may add an SSD someday but that will require moving some cables around creatively. The plus side of this case is that it's just beautiful and (at least for me so far) it runs very cool and quiet. The front door is a big plus for me too because I just installed a LITE ON dvd/cd burner which is kind of loud so being able to cover it makes it quiet :) All in all, I recommend this case!
