The NZXT Hush mid-tower takes quiet seriously! The Hush is lined on the top, bottom, sides, and front, with noise-damping material, reducing the moniscule fan noise to nearly inaudible. Strong airflow is helped by two 120mm fans, in combination with the large front air vent and rear exhaust vent. Excellent sound dampening!
- Pros: Very quiet case, you'll probably need to leave the side panel open on your first boot to make sure your fans are running, because you won't hear them spin up :p Plenty of internal bays for most users HDD needs. USB ports in both back and side of front panel are nice. 2 120mm fans are nice, and the stock ones are pretty quiet. Almost as good as the Scythe fans I ultimately threw in.
- Cons: Not much of a con, but the power LED is massively bright. It's seriously almost a blue spotlight.
- Other Thoughts: Not the widest case I've worked with, and it just barely fits a Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme and still be able to close the side panel.
NZXT HUSH
- Pros: This case looks amazing and everything fits very well. This case helps to keep the sound down very well.
- Cons: The only problem is that the case could have better airflow which I am working on by getting better fans.
- Other Thoughts: Overall this case is fairly inexpensive for how good the quality and looks are.

NZXT HUSH
- Pros: Solid, sturdy, large, attractive looking case. Decent fans in front and back. Keeps fairly quiet and looks amazing.
- Cons: I couldn't fit more than 2 3.5" drives in with the video card I had because it was so big. Maybe too many 5" drives and the swinging door seems a little flimsy. The USB, audio and eSATA on the side are convenient for some but often in the way or not accessible.
- Other Thoughts: Looks and sounds great. Very stylish with the blue LEDs but not cheap looking like some clear cases.
Follow up
- Pros: Two 120mm fans, one LED intake fan and one exhaust fan. Front door is magnetic which makes it look better and doesn't expose your optical drives (made a surprise when my friends first saw it). A major temperature improvement over my old eMachines micro-ATX plastic garbage. Looks strong, furturistic, and intimidating.
- Cons: The foam does act as an insulator and can keep temps above what I had expected. The foam also collects dust and makes it hard to clean off, even with the shop vac. LED on the front door is bright but, doesn't bother me too much. The front door cuts your front intake fan in half and reduces airflow.
- Other Thoughts: Overall, the case is great! I bought this back in February and I don't regret buying this. I'd suggest that you keep the front panel door open if your using the optics drive. I have had a couple times when the drive opened automatically and couldn't push through the door. Also good to keep it open if your putting your system under alot of stress to help with air flow.
If the foam does bring your temperatures up too mcuh to what you want it, rip it out. Doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure that out =P.
Still waiting to hear about my rebate
- Pros: - It's a case.
- It had good reviews relative to its after-rebate price.
- Cons: Still waiting for information on my rebate.
- Other Thoughts: I mailed my rebate form within the timeframe needed to qualify and with all the required documentation (UPC and sales receipt). I emailed them about it 6 weeks after mailing the form, but they claim not to have received it. I emailed them a scanned copy 10 days ago and am still waiting for them to get back to me on this. Basically, when looking at the price, don't factor in the rebate. A bird in the bush...
Based on my experience so far, I wouldn't buy NZXT again.
