1 out of 5 eggsDid this get any QA at all?

Pros: Good looks, enough fans, a lot of screws.

Cons: Only 3 of the motherboard standoff holes actually let me screw the standoffs into them, making it impossible for me to safely mount my motherboard. I've tried every standoff in every hole other, and none of them fit. Not to mention that one of the screw holes for my power supply doesn't line up either. I have no idea how this case passed any form of QA. It's completely unusable as is.

In addition, despite boasting "Clearance for top 240m dual radiators", my Corsair H90 didn't have enough clearance to fit below either fan without covering up a good half inch of my motherboard, also making it impossible for me to build in this case.

I attempted to contact NZXT online chat support to ask about these issues, and was told multiple times that "My issue was important to them" and that "Someone would be with me shortly" but despite waiting for nearly 4 hours, no one ever came.

I will never buy any NZXT product again, evidently they don't bother to actually check that their products are remotely functional before shipping them out the door.

5 out of 5 eggsPerfect Case

Pros: Looks great, cheap, sturdy. Wire management is easy and amazing with this case. Blue LED's add a lot of looks to the case. Plenty of room for components while not being to big. Removable drive chamber so you can fit larger graphics cards into it. Adjustable fan speed is great. Fan control with good airflow.

Cons: The only bad thing about this case is the fingerprints all over it, other than that its a perfect case.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case

Pros: Great looking case. There are a lot of convenient tie off points for cable management.Extra screws, more than I will nee in a lifetime. Everything i fitted into the case fit with room to spare.

Cons: Really this case is great. But here are a few minor things, but not a deal breaker for me. The rubber inserts for cable management to the back side don't like to stay in place. The front door does not like to latch easily. There could be more space in the back of the case for cable management. Its hard to get the side cover on with a fat power cable running through the back.

2 out of 5 eggsPoor Customer Service

Pros: Stylish and functional case - case is "upside-down" compared to normal case orientations, but this seems to promote natural convection, though it will have video card and power supply fans pointing downwards.
Many options for cable routing - many well placed holes and tie off points that can keep cables out of the hardware and in the back section of the case.
Extra screws provided

Cons: Unresponsive customer service - Submitted a ticket to customer service a week ago for a failed 140mm fan (fan has power as led lights, but fan will not turn) that came with the case. No response of acknowledgement. The issue ticket is the only method of contact, as they have a post saying live chat is down for upgrades, but no indication as to when they intend to ever restore it. Calling number offered by newegg gives a voice recording of "this office is closed"
Back panel area for cables is narrow - while it's good to be able to route cables to the back, thicker power supply cables will obstruct the back panel, so it's very difficult to seal the case without the back panel bowing. Failed fan - This happens, and wouldn't be a con if NZXT had customer service.

Other Thoughts: I would probably rate the product itself a 4/5, but customer service is critical to a good product experience.

5 out of 5 eggsFirst and Best Decision

Pros: Really nice-looking case with the same footprints as its older brother, the original Phantom. Definitely my best first-choice pick.

Cons: The toolless design of the optical drive bays are a bit stubborn. I don't mind it being stubborn, keeping the drive in its position, but the metal can be easily stripped of its paint

Other Thoughts: This was the first case that popped up when I was looking at cases for my future build. And out of all the case reviews that I've seen. It was definitely worth trying, nay, buying.

5 out of 5 eggsGood price for it's features

Pros: Beast case! Matte black, glossy black, and white are the best colors. It is a very good case for the price. Very nice touch with the blue led on the top fan!

Cons: Nothing really. Wish I had gotten matte black. Finger prints are very visible on gloss as always; although only while I was building the computer,

5 out of 5 eggsSleek and Efficient

Pros: At first, I was very skeptical about this case, it looked like it was all just plastic and flash. But after unpacking it, you can see how it is a slick and functional case, the fan controller is actually quite handy and allows you to immediately controller the speed of your fans. This case feels pretty sturdy as well, and inside is very modular with its tool-less kit and has plenty of space to work with. Overall, I am blown away and would recommend this case to anyone looking to build a rig.

Cons: It doesn't have any filters, but that is not worth removing an egg over and if you intend to install a 140mm fan in the front, the bottom right screw thread is a bit off, but not it's not such a bad thing that it rattles or hinders performance.

5 out of 5 eggsNZXT Phantom 410 Black ATX Mid Tower Case

Pros: Excellent cooling with room for up to 8 fans. The 3 fans included with the case are very quiet and move plenty of air. The top 140mm fan has blue LED's and adds a very classy look.

The overall design is well thought out and looks incredible. Very sleek and sexy. The functionality combined with its impeccable aesthetics and very reasonable price make it a perfect choice.

Expansion capabilities are to be expected, but make no mistake, this baby is big. She's almost the size of a full tower. Lots of drive trays, ample room for custom cooling set ups, and with the removable drive bay removed, enough clearance to comfortably fit the most gargantuan GPU on the market.

The cable management is top notch. Okay, the rubber grommets are a little flimsy and pop out of the slots easily, but this is easily countered by using one hand to hold the grommet as the other hand feeds the cable through. No problem. It was a breeze to work with and this was my first PC build.

The no tool design is is easy to work with and still very secure. Be prepared to use a phillips head screw driver to loosen the bolts for the first time. They come relatively tight from the factory. The stand off screws come with a small adapter that makes them very easy to install correctly and securely. A very nice touch.

The front panel USB ports are great for most needs and the 3 speed fan controller is a nice functional bonus.

Cons: As stated previously, the rubber grommets surrounding the cable management ports. Not a problem at all. Still very easy to work with. Not even a con. No eggs will be removed for this in any way.

This is a 5 egg case through and through.

Other Thoughts: The perfect mix of extravagant style, classy refinement, and intuitive functionality.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent Mid-tower case

Pros: Good construction quality.
Plenty of room for a mid-tower.
Lots of room for cable management behind the back panel.
Enough room for a 2x SLI set up with modern 11.5' cards.
The peaked "attic" above the metal case frame is great for 120mm cooling solutions.
Attractive design that isn't over-the-top.
Fan mounts galore for a case this size.

Cons: Plastic bits are kinda flimsy.
Power button is prone to getting stuck due to its angled design with the necessary press depth vs. the depth of the plastic surrounding it.
Fingerprints! - Build your rig, clean it, and never touch it without gloves again! :)
Could use the fan control dock from the NZXT H440 instead of individual cables.

Other Thoughts: This case has lots of pros, and a few nitpicking cons. Overall, this is a well thought out, attractive design with a good price point for a mid-tower gaming case. For a single or dual GPU setup that doesn't need a custom liquid cooling setup, this is the one for you!

Side note - Despite what the literature says, this case WILL fit a 140mm NZXT Kraken X40 with a full ATX MB but only in a single fan configuration, not with a push/pull dual fan. The only acceptable location (that I found with 1 1/2 hours of fiddling) is to put the radiator inside the case at the top mount nearest to the front panel. Then move both top fans to the "attic" of the case in whatever config you like (I keep both of mine in pull). It's a bit louder this way, but it keeps my 4770K at 60C with BF4 settings all at the ultra/high.

4 out of 5 eggsGreat buy

Pros: Low price

Side panels easy to remove and put back on

front and top pieces are easy to remove and put back on as well

Elevated from desk so PSU/bottom intake fan can get proper air

extra HDD slots can be removed

sturdy. very sturdy.

Comes with sorted/labeled screws

HDD slots can fit SSD's as well

Cons: Rubber grommets do not stay in. once out they are tough to get back in

Stock fans can easily rattle if not on a flat surface. They also dont push as much air as you would think for their size

fingerprints. fingerprints EVERYWHERE

I just don't understand the logic for the front door. why not just use a magnet? I have a feeling it's going to break pretty soon.

HDD bays are facing the wrong side in my opinion. The right door is holding all of the cabling in and if you have alot of thick cables back there like I do then it's a pain to re-position everything to switch out hard drives. If they had just put the drives facing the other way it would have been great. **on a side not, i bet you could just flip them around yourself but i havent tried yet**

Other Thoughts: Great case for the price. I will most likely buy their 800 series next time I need a case. I feel like even though this company does not have it 100% right yet, they are about as close as you can get in todays world
