The Logisys CS888 will leave nothing to the imagination, and that's just how you’ll like it. Front to back, this mid-sized tower is made of clear acrylic to show off the powerful system inside without distractions. In order to have a powerful system worth showing though, this case gives you the room you need to make it.

It started with four 5.25" external optical drive bays, and, remembering their importance, made room for two 3.5" external bays for fan controls, card readers, or anything else desired. Internally, which is now out for anyone to see, the power of six hard drives is provided for.

From there, it included enough cooling power of three 80mm fans. One is placed as an intake fan up front, and the other two are placed on top and in the back for the much needed exhaust. The combined power of these three fans allow for a near constant breeze over all of your sensitive hardware. The choice of your next case is clear.

  • newegg Transparent Shell The completely transparent and clear acrylic LOGISYS CS888CL case provides a direct view of the inner system, perfect for a dazzling showcase of LED illumination.
  • newegg Excellent Expandability with 12 Drive Bays Boasting four external 5.25" drive bays, two external and up to six internal 3.5” drive bays, the LOGISYS CS888CL provides superb expandability.
  • newegg Effective Cooling The LOGISYS CS888CL features a total of three 80mm blue LED fans located at the front, at the rear and on the side panel to effectively cool the system while delivering an amazing light show.
  • newegg Convenient Front I/O Panel The convenient front I/O panel enables easy access to two USB 2.0 and two audio ports.

2 out of 5 eggsRocky Start

Pros: Pretty pretty pretty

Cons: Out of the box, one of the fans was broken apart and one of the acrylic blocks holding the thing together had split.

Neither was a deal killer, but i have concerns about the quality of the case form the beginning. I have some concerns about the air flow as well.

I think the expansion bay claim is a a little over stated as there are bays, but I don't see them as very utilizable as you near the top of the case, the front electronics would get in the way.

Other Thoughts: My daughter(10) wanted a case she could see into for her first build- this case does that, but I doubt we'll stick with it after the novelty has worn off.

Will update.

4 out of 5 eggsNot bad

Pros: Beautiful completely transparent acrylic- I get many compliments for it. The LED fans really help too.
Plenty of space inside for components
Plenty of drive mounts/bays
Surprisingly good airflow for 3 small fans
Built to easily convert to inverted ATX

Cons: Have to remove 10 screws to open the side panel
Lack of extra fan mounting locations
Fans are cheap, noisy, and small. Due to their size, liquid cooling is not an option in any form without some modding.

Other Thoughts: Clean it often or buy dust filters. If you know exactly what you're paying for, it's an excellent case at that price point.

3 out of 5 eggsInconvenient, but not a bad case.

Pros: Basically it looks really cool and feels very durable.

Cons: - No Knockout hole to install an aftermarket fan/heatsink so you are forced to remove the motherboard if you want to add one.
- Attracts dirt and fingerprints and it REALLY shows. Scratches also show well.
- Tons of screws to open the case.
- Poor cable management.
- Incompatible with fans bigger than 80mm.
- The feet that comes with the case slides off easily and that can be a problem if you are the person that moves your desktop often.

Bottom line: It's just a very inconvenient case, but once you did what you need to do, it not a bad case at all. A customer of mines wanted this case for his desktop and he's satisfied and that is all that really matters.

2 out of 5 eggsIt's Pretty

Pros: Absolutely gorgeous case, picked it up with a Rosewill Lightning power supply that just shines. Definitely meant for showing off equipment.

Cons: Doesn't have much else going for it. The three stock fans are too small and loud and don't allow for good airflow. The panels are a pain in the rear to get off and change any parts. Hard drives are nearly impossible to install and it barely comes with enough screws for a single internal and single external drive. If you want to access your motherboard memory or anything else you practically have to disassemble your entire pc which is a nightmare.

Other Thoughts: It's acrylic, all of the cons are to be expected with such fragile material. Sure it's pretty, but that's about it. Plus now that it's in my room I can't leave it on going to bed because it lights up the room like a Christmas tree. Oh! Maybe I'll save it for that! Neat decoration perhaps?

4 out of 5 eggsgreat case with a few quirks

Pros: more spacious than expected, fairly solid, pretty-lookin'

Cons: My case arrived with 2 stripped screws, so I couldn't even get inside it until I was able to borrow a drill to excavate one of the stripped screws. Also you do need to wear gloves when you're working on it to avoid fingerprints, and always watch out for things that can scratch it, because those scratches will never go away. -Very limited cable management help.

Also to open up the side panel you have to remove TEN screws!

Other Thoughts: I would not recommend this case for a novice PC builder because the screws are pretty intense and this case is really easy to damage cosmetically.

Also for better airflow/quietness I swapped out the fans with 3 24CFM <15db fans. I REALLY wish they had 120mm mounts instead of 80mm :/

5 out of 5 eggsLove this

Pros: -Clear
-LED fans it comes with are bright
-Looks really cool with some cathodes

Cons: -They made some unusual design choices due to the fact this thing is entirely transparent.

Other Thoughts: -to open the side panel you have to undo the 10 screws on the side panel (not at the back because that will remove the back side)
-you will not be using random screws from other builds for this case because the acrylic parts have to be thicker than sheets of metal so the screws are really long

4 out of 5 eggsnice case

Pros: i wanted this case for my build so i could see all the parts at make the computer cool, so i got this and it does the job

Cons: i wasnt a fan of the fact that you ave to take boath side pannels off to put your drives in. afer i noticed this it took a little longer to build then thought, but hey, no complaint, just an annoyence if you arnt paying attention

Other Thoughts: just remember, theres five types of screws they give you. and if you lose one screw out of the side panels, your out of luck

1 out of 5 eggsGarbage

Pros: Looks cool. Most people new with computers will bite the bullet & get it for the show-off factor. I cannot blame you in the least.

Cons: As far as the case goes, it's an absolute piece of garbage. Worst ergonomics I've had for a case ever, the screws wear & strip after about 3-4 uses, the optical drive slots are placed awfully.

Other Thoughts: Would highly recommend you not to buy.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Clear Comes with a nice set of blue Led fans

Cons: Had one bad front USB
Have to be carful its not the strongest plexi around. But hey its a clear already made case

Other Thoughts: Cables you can always use a self stick zip tie block to keep them neat> no real problems for the price its a great case heck the cost of plexi alone would have cost me more to build it myself

4 out of 5 eggsGreat Case!

Pros: Very cool looking, comes pre-assembled

Cons: This case has many screws, so it can be annoying do things like get the case open and put drives in.

Other Thoughts: Very good case for the money, looks really cool, the screws can be annoying but they are defiantly necessary.
