The Optimus 1200 is the premier gaming chassis of the IKONIK by LOGISYS line. Drawn from inspiration of legendary comics, the 1200 was designed for the gamer that is at the forefront of technology and style. It boasts a tool-less setup to support device modularity, anti-vibration gear for a quiet acoustic environment, and an efficient cable-management system to accommodate both ATX and Micro ATX form factors. It also has pre-settings to upgrade to liquid cooling if desired. Great attention was paid to every detail of this case which allows no room for error. With its mesh interlocking design on the front panel, air flow is maximized to the interior of the chassis, while actively blocking out dust. The clever design of the red LEDs near the front mesh allows the light to shine out adding a sort of toughness and aggression to this chassis, distinguishing it from any other chassis on the market.

4 out of 5 eggsGood case and airflow, but "fake" top fan mount

Pros: Nice looking, good airflow, room behind motherboard to route cables, mesh fan grills help keep dust out

Cons: front fan mount on top appears to be fake because there's no way to reach the frontmost screwholes to install a fan

5 out of 5 eggsThe best budget case on the market!

Pros: This case is super light, sturdy, and stylish! The price is simply amazing! It comes with one fan in the back which is super quiet and plenty of space to add more fans! Almost all entrances to the case have a filter on them to limit dust and what is not obvious by the pictures is it actually has red LEDs in the top part of it! A great structure of building inside, no screws, simply awesome.

Cons: I would recommend this case to any who asks me but there's just 2 things to watch out for. 1. The feet, as I read in another review, every time you try and slide this case one of the feet come off. After trying to "make it work" I simply just unscrewed all the feet and now its perfect! 2. If you have and older powersupply like I do, be careful, the powersupply sits at the bottum and not all my cord reached all the sockets that it needed to go to. As of right now I have my PSU sitting in the case upright until I can afford a new higher quality PSU.

Other Thoughts: I've built many computers while working as a computer technician, I've scene some of the most expensive cases on the market and some of the crappiest ones. This one is definitely your best bet for under $100!

5 out of 5 eggsThe almost perfect case

Pros: Solid black interior, bottom power supply mount, plenty of bay storage, numbered holes with guild for motherboard mounting, very solid construction, plenty of space for fans, case top access to usb, mic, headphones and eSata, plenty of room inside for everything you need to do, as well as cable management.

Cons: The only and ONLY thing I don't absolutely LOVE about this case is the feet. The rubber feet are attached via a small screw on the bottom of the case. While installing all my components into the case, the feet got knocked off at least 3 or 4 times. However, it was only a slight annoyance, and when compared to how perfect the case is in every other way, it's negligible.

Other Thoughts: I've been repairing and upgrading computers since 1995, I have worked with everything from the old XT desktop cases that weighed about 15 pounds with nothing inside, to full tower cases that were running servers. I have never had such and easy time installing all the components, without any problems in all that time. It looks beautiful, and for the money, it blows everything else I've worked with out of the water.

5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very beautiful case. Plenty of room, nice black interior and exterior. Decent cable management, tool-less design for drives.

Cons: Wish New Egg was selling the 1200+, instead of only 1200! (Comes with a red LED fan in the front under cage for hard drive cooling. And rubber sieves for cable managing.)

Other Thoughts: It seems that my case either didn't come with the cable for the front LED's to light up, or the case just uses the "H.D.D. LED" cable for the front LED lights.

5 out of 5 eggsHigh Quality Case for great price! Picture doesn't do it justice!

Pros: 1. Looks spectacular with the Transformers Optimus-like appearance with Front Red LEDs + your own case lights
2. Extremely good build quality for the price + shipping = $60.98
3. Tons of space for assembly without all the sharp slicers to end your day with a ton of battle scars
4. Very good airflow with up to 5 extra fans to add on.
5. Convenient top I/O ports
6. Looks sexy on every side of the case

Cons: 1. Only comes with 1 back exhaust fan
2. No bracket for 2.5" HDDs included
3. Side HDD Bay would be nice

Other Thoughts: PICTURE DOES NOT DO THIS CASE JUSTICE! GOOGLE THIS WITH LED LIGHTS AND BE AMAZED! I mixed this case with red and blue LEDs and it looks spectacular. I don't like Transformers, but this case design is awesome. Cons were very tolerable considering the low price for this high quality case.

5 out of 5 eggsThe best of the best for the money

Pros: bottom mounted power supply provides more room to build and all the wires can be hid behind the mother board for a clean look. All the case fan locations and the front of the case has installed filters for dust. Heavy duty steel case. Easy quick disconnects for the hard drives/dvd drives to the case. By far the best case I have ever had. A lot of places for fans.

Cons: One of the top fan locations do not allow you to install the 140mm fan:( bracket in the way.

Other Thoughts: Besides the fan thing this is a super cool looking and well designed case that is made for the next generation of computers.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case

Pros: Very sturdy case with good cable management and cooling. I have 2 of these cases, one with a Core i-5 and the other an AMD 1100T. In the Intel setup I mounted a fan in the front, 2 side fans, a top fan, and replaced the stock rear fan with a higher flow unit. The AMD setup was the same minus one of the side fans due to clearance issues with the Cooler Master Hyper N520 as I needed a taller, narrower cooler for the AMD 890FX motherboard. There was no clearence issues on the Intel setup for 2 side fans, leaving a couple inches for the Cooler Master GeminII S.

Cons: Shows finger prints if you touch it so keep a rag handy to wipe it down after your build.
