5 out of 5 eggsFantastic results, difficult setup

Pros: I upgraded from a previous liquid cooling rig that was added to a regular fan-only tower from Dell. This cooled my core temps about 15-20 degrees C on average, and it keeps them there. i7 processor, with video card added to the cooling loop, survived extreme stress testing with no issue at all.

Cons: This was an incredibly difficult install. It took several hours as many of the connector pins came improperly configured and I had to find schematics online to correct them. The pump had issues starting up initially but that may have been my fault for not adding enough liquid from the start; very difficult to get the air pockets out of the pump. One of the factory installed case fans was obstructed by its own wiring and actually caught on fire about 2 minutes after being activated (!!); luckily I had a spare of the same form factor from my old tower to replace it. The pre-installed cooling block for the processor did not fit my processor/MB and it was quite difficult to remove and replace (alternate blocks are included, you just have to install yourself).

Other Thoughts: The results are amazing. All of my components are easily 40-50% cooler than with my previous cooling system. The factory configuration, however, is an absolute disaster and frankly pretty dangerous. That being said, I'm glad I survived through it because the results are amazing.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome Case

Pros: Removable MB tray, great built in liquid cooling, super quiet when needed.

Cons: HUGE, but you don't have anything outside the case, so it has to be large.
SIM software is okay, and uses physical temp monitors instead of MB readings. Not a good way to auto control fans.

Other Thoughts: Really easy to set up, though the instructions are terrible.
My setup is i5 2500K, Asus Rampage, Evga 560ti. I got a n extra water block and added my GPU to the liquid loop.
When doing idle tasks, I run the pump on max and NO fans running and the processor runs at about 40C and the GPU at 30C
When playing battlfield 3, I set the radiator fans to max and the CPU runs about 55C and the GPU at 40C. So i don't see how this couldn't properly cool any processor.
I unplugged the radiator fans from the SIM card and put them into the MB and are controled by speedfan. So at least right now i have the radiator on automatic which is nice.
When the radiator fans off, this thing is dead silent. With the radiator fans on max, it's not much louder than my old pc with Cooler Master Vortex

5 out of 5 eggsadd to earlier review

Pros: same

Cons: failed to say usb device not recognized was pump. Now believe reason I was getting error was fault of Iconics fan monitoring software (sim). Uninstalled software and let fans and pump run at full speed. Only reason to install software was to control speed of fans and pump. still did not deduct egg. Someone else may see this as a problem. Software began to act strange, showed no fans running, when they were. Would slow down fans on its own.

Other Thoughts: anytime pump and fans hook up to usb header on mobo it is probably a good idea to stay with computer until it gets to desktop.

4 out of 5 eggsDicey Start

Pros: Sweet looker, lots of room, tool-less, mostly well constructed
Happy that the 8 fans for the water cooler came with it

Cons: What was ordered: Logisys 8009.
What arrived: Ikonik ra 2000
With the water cooler radiators installed, the motherboard tray will not come out.
Drive bay grills arrived popped off and bent. They are flimsy.

Other Thoughts: I'm building this box incrementally. I will modify this review as it comes together and I will post my website (eventually) so that you can see the pics as it takes shape.

I'm sure I'll have more comments on the case as time goes by. All parts will be of Newegg origin. That is, unless they <censored> me off by selling me another piece of <censored> like the Sapphire VaporX 5870. I plan to add a Corsair 240GB SSD and if that is garbage, then see ya L8R Newegg. Of late, I have seen them offer some items that the reviews exposed as known trash.

Get on the ball Newegg. Or you will lose a customer who is addicted to building expensive computers...

5 out of 5 eggsikonik

Pros: Easy build with removable mobo tray. Case and and pump are high quality. Ten fans two radiators, no overheating if cpu installed correctly. Extremely happy with purchase. Thanks newegg.

Cons: In the five mos. of ownership have got usb device not recognized three times at startup. Did not deduct egg, was probably windows 7 fault.

Other Thoughts: was glad water cooling was professionly installed after build was finished. If you can't get video card or cpu cooler in this case you will have to make your own case or do bench build.

4 out of 5 eggsresponce to reviewer

Pros: inresponce to reviewer who says he owns this case the water cooling is only rated for a quad core processor not a 6 core so i wonder if you do own it! or maybe you just don't know what your doing /
?/ it is over priced /but ikonic cases are very well made & water cooling is normally very costly& offten problemmatic anyway.

Cons: none really if used like it is designed to be used.

Other Thoughts: money/ some people bought those 800 plus questionable cases w no water cooling at all so use your own brain & do it your way like bugger king sayes !!!!

1 out of 5 eggsDisappointed

Pros: The case sheet metal is heavy duty and the powder coating is well done. The drive mounting system is good. The setup is tight with no rattles or other noise. The fans are high quality.

Cons: Unlike the other review I actually own one of these cases. The water system will not keep my AMD 1100T 6 core CPU cool. With the water block installed running cpu performance tests will quickly raise the temps above 70C. The fan/pump conltroller is not working correctly. The manufacturer (Ikonik/Logisys) doesn't return emails to the support email address.

My advice is build your own water system or buy a good air cooler. Stay away from this. If you like the rest of the features buy the model without water cooling.
