4 out of 5 eggsCheap but Effective

Pros: Good size able to hold a large sized motherboard. Used it to complete a rebuild of an old computer. So far i havent had any issues with but time will be ultimate judge.

Cons: Ultimately recognized as a cheap case made of cheap materials.

Other Thoughts: like the look and is lightweight.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case for the price

Pros: -Surprisingly sturdy
-Blue LEDs look fantastic
-Includes more than enough screws and mounts
-Spacious
-Cheap
-Power button feels nice and sturdy

Cons: -Front USB ports are a bit wobbly, but are fine for thumb drives or dongles.
-This case is BIG. Be sure to check that you have enough space.
-Sides are slightly flexible, but not a big deal because the frame is sturdy.

Other Thoughts: Rear 90mm fan mount also fits 120 mm fan depending on cable situation.
I recommend this case for any budget ATX format build. It will fit anything you need and more.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing, faceplate fits my old case.

Pros: This ATX case is actually identical to my old case from 2004 minus the design of the faceplate and the LED colors... It was really easy to install the faceplate after I removed it from this case. Since the case design is all the same specification there was no need to transfer the motherboard, making this the best case I could have used. All I really needed to do was move my optical drive and plugin the wires to the motherboard (they're all labeled clearly so it was no challenge). My computer had a sticker on the drive bay covers and that I wanted to keep but since the case unit was so old and tarnished I wanted to find a way for everything to work. Since it's just the same case with a different face I couldn't have migrated easier and I'm reusing my sentimental bare bones. USB works. LED lights are beautiful. My old case's sound jack was broken to mono so the new one working was a plus. Sticker saved. That and the case was a mere 30 bones. Not bad.

Cons: No SSD bay. However, there are 3.5 drive adapters that will suite just fine. I'm using one. No side fan housing. My old case had side fan housing so I just used the same side when I transferred the faceplate. I now have a product of two cases, but the used one's designated home will have to be a server because the case will get to hot without the side fan. I'm giving it 5/5 still because these discrepancies are minor and you wont be handicapped by them as the value overshadows the cons.

Other Thoughts: I couldn't be more satisfied. I have a contemporary look without the stress of handling my fragile motherboard. For the value, there is no better case. And sentimental to the bare bones of my youth.

5 out of 5 eggsGood Case

Pros: Good Case.. No Frills. Cheap enough and free shipping.

Cons: It doesn't have mounds for a 3.5 SSD.. That's my fault for being stupid and not checking. Don't worry.. I totally used some double sided velcro on that bad boy. Works good. Last long time. The nice people at the USPS also decided to play soccer with it. So it came all bent up in both bottom corners. This makes it so you can't close the case all the way. Also, one of the little blue LED lights on the front is dim. I assume this is USPS's fault too.

3 out of 5 eggsDamaged upon receipt

Pros: IDK what NE is thinking when then send these out via cheap couriers, or why they don't send folks out on quality assessments with the drivers, but we've been seeing more of our packages being bent up or flat out destroyed. I'm not sure what the deal with this was, but we never got a chance to use it. Will RMA and order another.

Cons: Cheap case and you get what you pay for

Other Thoughts: Try it out, send it back if you don't like it or spend more money and get a coolermaster HFA

4 out of 5 eggsCheap/working case

Pros: 2nd case was fine on arrival and had all the space I needed for my build. Felt pretty solid. I purchased in 2011 for a build that I am now replacing. I've moved this case numerous times and I can say it doesn't flex at all and took a few bumps over the years. No clips have broken and all the lights still work. Fans that were included at the time I purchased were really loud. Has an OEM look, which is nice.

Cons: The first case arrived all bent up. Not something that could be used. RMA was easy. Front is plastic and has had to be re-snapped in place a few times.
I have found, after some upgrades, the case did tend to keep things hotter than other people reported with the same components. I replaced the included fans with some higher end fans but no change in temps. An identical build in a larger case runs a few degrees cooler.

Other Thoughts: This case has served well, I wont be tossing it, but keeping it for a work station build for my wife.

3 out of 5 eggsWhat's the deal?

Pros: Decent ultra-low-end case
Used to be cheap
Decent space

Cons: No longer for sale in its value class
No fans
iffy steel
frustrating usb design that encourages accidental shutdowns/warm boots
New pricing scheme is rediculous

Other Thoughts: I bought this case a year ago just over $20 all-in, and it was well worth the price. For $35, I'd expect it to be made of titanium, not thin, sharp, highly-flexible steel.

Did steel just become a precious metal investment commodity, or something?
Why, when China faces economic implosion and gas prices are the lowest in 15 years, does the cost of buying and shipping a cheap Chinese case rise by 55%

Newegg, we still love you, and we understand why huge, heavy cases no longer qualify for Premier, but why does suddenly nothing qualify, and why does all of it suddenly cost so much more? We all love the cheaper hard drives and memory, but they don't really do consumers any good if we can't get a decent price on anything to put them in.
We're not asking for the moon, just some common sense and continuity.

3 out of 5 eggsNot pretty, gets the job done.

Pros: Inexpensive, serves its purpose

Cons: Ugly as the day is long

Other Thoughts: General statement about all Apex cases - they generally feel sturdier than other budget offerings, have little perks like removable drive bays, etc. and they are among the least attractive product line currently available.
This case is no exception, and underscores the need to hire only designers who can actually see the design themselves.
