4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Nice tower for the price. Power supply is quiet. Easy enough to install hard drive and other components. Nice for a lower end non gaming system such as I'm currently building.

Cons: Can't get to other side of CD Rom bay to secure it with a screws,so I have one out of four holding it in. Plus there's a latch that holds the detachable bay for the hard drives blocking another screw hole. over all I can live with it since I rarely use it.

4 out of 5 eggsVery Nice case for the price!

Pros: Great look, nice price, well built and solid

Cons: Limited power connecters.

Other Thoughts: I got this to do a budget build to replace my mothers old Pentium 4 XP machine she has had since 04. I was going to try and reuse her old case but was concerned about not having an up to date power supply so I opted for this one and very glad I did. The case looks great, is solidly made, well laid out and I didn't bleed even once because I found no sharp edges or burrs anywhere. Everything fit perfectly so I say if your looking for a budget case than put this one in your cart now, you won't be disappointed.

5 out of 5 eggsExceptional Value

Pros: I needed a basic case. I now own 6. They are extremely easy to use; by far the best I have had. The power supply is noticably lighter than other power supplies that I have used. For my first few builds I swapped in a power supply I new was dependable. As I bought more of these cases I started to use the power supplie that came with them. Well over year and I have yet to have a failure. As soon as I finish this review I am going to buy another one.

Cons: none

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Nice case.

Cons: The power supply was defective. I could not RMA it without returning the whole case, which would require me to disassemble the whole computer.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend buying just the case, and not using the power supply.

1 out of 5 eggsManufacturer Poor Service

Pros: Exterior thumb screws are easy to screw off and on. Nice black finish on outside of case.

Cons: Interior fan quality is sub par. Interior edges of case are razor sharp.

Other Thoughts: Received case from shipped (OnTrac) and opened box. Discovered the rear case fan blades had been snapped off of the motor assembly. Contacted manufacturer for a replacement fan. Was told to send the entire case back to NewEgg for a replacement (which would delay my build by 1 week or more).

By reading the reviews I thought this was a winner instead discovered a looser. I am sending this case back for a full refund and have purchased (from NewEgg!!!!) a new case from another manufacturer. NewEgg = 100% satisfaction.... Apex = a seriously awful experience. All they needed to do was send me a replacement fan (worth .60 cents their cost) even if it meant taking apart a case in their warehouse to do so. If I was the owner of Apex, I would review how customers are perceived and how best to help them.

5 out of 5 eggsNew Micro ATX standard

Pros: Cheap, build quality, so easy even a caveman could do it.

Cons: No 8 pin CPU connector on the power supply, but the low price of the case meant that buying one wasn't a problem. Didn't see a need to remove any stars but it's good to know this before buying.

Other Thoughts: This is my new standard for ATX builds. Usually a cheap case means slicing your hands a few times on the sharp edges, there were none inside this case. UPS delivered at about 10am and buy 12pm I had Windows Installed.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat value

Pros: Solid
Comes with PSU
Quick release drive bay

Cons: Only 2 SATA plugs

Other Thoughts: I was immediately impressed by the weight and quality of build on this case. It seems very solid. Much heavier than the mid-towers that my work uses for their builds. The case is much more attractive (IMHO) than the photo implies. The front panel is glossy with a raised diamond pattern.

Inside, I had no problems getting everything in and the edges were not lethal. Quick release 3.5" drive tray made install a breeze for my drives. Fit for all components was good with ample room for cable management. My cards are all low-profile, though so YMMV. The PSU only comes with 2 sata leads and I have 3 SATA drives so I got a molex to SATA adapter which solved the problem.

When I first fired it up I couldn't tell if it was on until I felt the fans moving air. Both the PSU and case fans (and my proc fan) are like 99% silent, at least at bootup. Very excited for that, as the PC it's replacing sounds like a wind tunnel. We'll see if they get loud under load.

4 out of 5 eggsJust Assembled My Computer

Pros: Good solid construction.
Very good paint job. Does not scratch easily.
Easy to add motherboard, power and disc drives.

Cons: Have to read instructions to remove hard drive bay cage but then removal and return to position is easy.
Had to plug in ATX power to motherboard before inserting motherboard.
No USB 3.0 on front panel.

Other Thoughts: Just previously I bought a similar sized case for twice as much, but it's black paint scratches easily and though slightly bigger case there were many tight fits. This case much easier to use.

5 out of 5 eggsGood budget build

Pros: Everything that it needs to do is done. I used this for a HTPC; you can hear the fan only if there is nothing playing.

Cons: Can't knock an egg but the only drawbacks I can note are the USB ports in the front are 'upside down' in the sense that the seam on flash drives us up and the USB logo faces down when plugging them in. Can't flip the little board because the screws holding it are asymmetrical. And this is not a case you want to be taking the side panel off a lot because the thumbscrews use only the thin case steel and could be stripped if not careful.

Other Thoughts: AMD A6-3500 Llano 2.1GHz (2.4GHz Max Turbo) Socket FM1 65W Triple-Core in a ASUS F1A75-M PRO FM1 AMD A75 micro ATX board. No video card, works fine for light gaming and movies.
