5 out of 5 eggsNo fingerprints

Pros: I had my hands all over this thing and I haven't noticed any fingerprints to speak off. It was easy to put together I just looked at the pictures and put everything together that that was easy until I had less screws and less parts. Drive cages were the hardest to figure out, and that was not too bad at the end.

Cons: They should only have two screws. The one that's for like the hard drive and the hand tightening screws. At the end I was using the little screws for everything.

Other Thoughts: It is a very impressive case. And it was fun building it. Having a clear case makes it easier to connect the wires because you can look through the side.

5 out of 5 eggsLove it

Pros: Looks fantastic. If you get this case, you'll have to purchase a couple of UV cathodes to get the full effect. In the dark, the entire case glows very brightly, overall a very impressive looking case. Also, space for 8 hard drives, 2 external 5.25" bays and one external 3.5" bay is excellent.

Cons: Bays are set up in a way that makes switching out hard drives and 5.25" drives a bit of a chore, however there not much that the manufacturer could have done given the shape of the case. Also, you get all of the cons that you should expect from an acrylic case.

Other Thoughts: Know what you're getting into if you haven't even bought an acrylic case before. First of all, it comes in pieces, so expect to spend a couple of hours putting the thing together. You might want to get gloves, otherwise you'll be leaving finger prints everywhere. It comes with a pair of absolutely minuscule gloves, but I can't imagine them fitting anyone with normal sized hands. Also, acrylic is fragile, so you'll have to be careful when moving this case, if you're not, it WILL crack and/or break. There is definitely more work involved with building and maintaining a computer in a acrylic case, but I believe it's worth it as it looks amazing.

5 out of 5 eggsA lot of work but totally worth it

Pros: The case looks amazing, definetly an attractive addition to any home theater setup. definetly catches the eye, its a blank slate for the most part when it comes to lighting experiementing with different lighting to get it just right was a lot of fun. It does get a lot of attention, I added some UV wire sleeving along with some UV lights, really great case.

Cons: I have worked with acrylic cases before so I knew what I was getting into. They come in panels that need to be assembled and it does take some patience. One thing that is annoying however, to add hard drives later it is a bit trickey because you have to do some clever unscrewing same with the cd drives. Like i said though I did know about these issues ahead of time so im not going to complain about it. Just be aware that it does take a bit of work to get it all up and running.

Other Thoughts: The case looks great, its a labor of love. It was a lot more work than most builds and adding drives later is a bit of a pain but as long as you know what you are getting into then its not so bad. I have been building computers for years but its not often i get to build a case to go along with it, I had a blast with it.

2 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Pretty.

Cons: Pain to assemble, but expected. Somehow the Blue LEDs on the fans became dimmer during a thunderstorm, probably a component in the fans burned out while plugged. the center piece to hold the middle fan is impossible to fit in unless using a low profile video card. Indeed a pain to use if you need to remove/add dvd-roms or HDDs.

Other Thoughts: Sunbeam rebate center won't return emails, and I never received my rebate. In my opinion the case is fine at $30~40, but since the rebate never came, I find this a horrible deal.

Newegg of course, has always been great.

4 out of 5 eggsReal Eye Catcher

Pros: Nice case to build, plenty of drive space, fits up to 8 HDD. No problems so far. Definately an eye catcher especially when the LEDs are on. Be prepared to take some time to put it together, I thought it was fun. Use it as a HTPC/Game case. Plays Blue Rays flawlessly with a LG Disc Drive bought right here.

Cons: Once components are in don't plan on moving it much. Keep all sharp edges away from it, or anything that is abrasive. If you have a large video card the middle fan and mount may not fit correctly.

Other Thoughts: Has a fairly large footprint, about the size of a gameboard so plan placing it wisely.

5 out of 5 eggsNice case, but be careful!

Pros: Having a see-through case is neat as hell! And when it's in the middle of your living room it makes a great conversation piece when guests come over (and you get to show off and say "I built that! :D". If you can put the extra effort into owning a case like this you will be well rewarded.

Cons: Some people don't know how to take the proper precautions with an acrylic case. I listed these precautions under "Other Thoughts" because they aren't really cons, they are just part of owning an acrylic case that you should be aware of before buying anything it - certain things that are taken for granted with metal ones.

Other Thoughts: Remember that you're working with acrylic here. Normal metal cases use the chassis as a ground just in case there's any ESD, but acrylic won't do that. So to make sure that your components are safe, connect a wire from the power supply's chassis (a bare metal part, not a painted part) to one of the screws that hold down the motherboard. If you want to put the effort to be EXTRA safe, connect that same wire to the shielding of the front USB ports, the rear I/O panel, and to a screw holding down each hard drive/CDROM. This will ensure that your components are safe.

Also, acrylic in itself can be dangerous - it can build up a static charge over time (especially in dry weather). To stop that from happening, every once in a while you should polish it with Novus polish and a microfiber cloth. Not only do you get rid of the static charge that way, but you'll also restore it to a brand new condition after months, or years, of scuffs and scratches settle in and ruin the luster.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat case.

Pros: *A ton of room!!! It is a very large case.
*Excellent airflow!!
*Comes with all the screws/parts you need to assemble.
*Includes 4 80mm led fans.
*Includes gloves so you don't get fingerprints on your case while assembling (they fit me ok).
*Looks great! I receive a ton of compliments.

Cons: *Time consuming to build the case, but fun!

*Heavy

*Dust build up and fingerprints over time, but just wipe it down and it will be ok.

Other Thoughts: I bought this case because of its looks, design and possibilities for future expansion. I usually purchase a new case after a few months because I get tired of the look so quickly, but I love this one! I have a 12'' blacklight that is mounted on my wall right above my case. When I turn it on the entire case lights up blue and its beautiful!

4 out of 5 eggsVery sexy case

Pros: The case is very light and open, with a ton of room for expansion. If I were so inclined, I could run up to 9 hard drives in this case. For a media center PC, I can't think of any better case. Plenty of room for storage, a ton of airflow, and very attractive. It would be a great case sitting alongside the rest of my AV gear, and not really look that out of place.

Cons: It did take an hour or so to assemble, as has been pointed out by several people before, but I'm one that enjoys that sort of thing. There were also a few concerns about ESD, and I'm pretty sure that I fried my video card blindly feeling behind the case for the vga connector. My own fault, and I just happened to have a replacement card, so I can't fault the case for that.

5 out of 5 eggsBeattiful Case

Pros: Best looking case I've ever owned. Huge, with plenty of space for everything. I recommend installing at least two 1' UV cathode tubes. UV lights make it look like the walls of the case are glowing, and it looks spectacular.

Cons: Some assembly required. Prepare to spend an hour or two just putting the case together. Also, as with any clear case, you're going to get fingerprints and smudges everywhere. They included a pair of gloves to use when putting the case together so you don't get it dirty, but they were sized to fit a toddler. Somewhat sturdy case, but I feel like one decent impact that would dent a normal case would probably shatter this one. Bulky and heavy, so don't plan on moving it around too much.

Other Thoughts: Overall, looks amazing, and the only drawback are what you should expect from an acrylic case.
