4 out of 5 eggsnice case

Pros: This case is very sturdy. steel case and skeleton. pant job on the shell is very nice. The front bezel is sleek. Excellent value for quality.

Cons: there was a tiny dent on the shell of the case. the dent was from the inside out so i doubt it was shipping.

Other Thoughts: It took me a good 45 minutes to install a complete system in this case. there is plenty of room for components. notice. you do not need to purchase small form factor pci cards. There is plenty of room for moderately sized cards.

4 out of 5 eggsnice little case

Pros: I chose this case for a commercial application where space was a real issue. This case does the job just fine. Another reviewer said you had to take the front panel off to get into the case. not true. Two big thumb screws, top comes off and you're in. The ability to remove the swing out drive bay helps tremendously when you are wiring the motherboard. Well thought out. I had no problems putting everything in and getting it running. It IS small and you should do like the one guy said and use sata cables for your drives, but you probably WANT a small case if you are looking at this one. The power supply is a name brand and has TWO sata hook-ups which is one of the reasons I went with this case.

Cons: Careful with front panel, it is of decent thickness, but is brittle.

Other Thoughts: The case metal is plenty thick enough. It is a snap to get into. Blue light on the front is seriously bright, but it would be easy enough to hook up a switch to shut it off if you just wanted to use it part of the time or maybe put a dimmer on it. Lot of cables for a small box, you'll need to tend to that.

4 out of 5 eggsGood Case

Pros: Solid Case
fair air flow for the case size.

Cons: Drives you put in 5.25 in bay could interfere with CPU heat sink, for larger non stock heatsinks depending on your MB.

Other Thoughts: Optional 80mm fan slot in front. Hight recommended to by extra fan to install.

4 out of 5 eggsGood small case

Pros: Small, but generally easy to pull open and work inside. The main drive cage swings out (and can be completely removed) to get access to the motherboard.

Cons: Cable routing can be touchy, as with all small cases. I recommend all SATA, because even round PATA cables take up a lot of space. Because of the swing-out drive cage, a little trial-and-error to figure out best mounting position for optical drive and card reader.

4 out of 5 eggsGood case

Pros: good construction, no tools needed to open (large, hand removable screws), solid. Accommodates full sized PCI cards.

Cons: front plastic faceplate will come off if you jar it, b/c it is held on by little snap-in anchors. It hasnt broken, just a little annoying when it pops off.

Other Thoughts: I use it as a media center PC under my TV. I record tv shows with an ATI tv wonder pro, so it stays on constantly. Has been powering socket 478 board with 1 hd, 1 dvd-rw, floppy/card reader, geforce 6200, TV tuner, and 1gb ram for well over 5 months now... i never turn it off and it is running fine.

5 out of 5 eggsExcellent & Very Small Case

Pros: If you like having a small computer, but are on a budget, this case is an excellent compromise. It is considerably smaller than normal Micro ATX cases, yet still has all four expansion slots and a decent power supply. All for a very reasonable cost. The case is partially tool-less, and has enough room for a larger-than-OEM CPU heatsink/fan.

Cons: The power-supply is not a standard size, so replacing it will be quite a pain.

Other Thoughts: If you don't have the budget for a shuttle, this is the next smallest thing.

1 out of 5 eggs2 down...not sure if I want another one.

Pros: It does look nice...

Cons: First one came to me and the front had a crack in it (see previous review). Took almost 2 weeks to get a replacement. This one came and the power supply is dead. I hooked up a regular ATX power supply from another case and the components I put in it work fine. So, this one definately has a junk power supply. I don't know what would be worse...to take the time to remove all the parts and send in yet another RMA case or just bite the cost and buy another power supply local.

Other Thoughts: It looks nice if you can get an undamaged one...but buyer beware. It's not Newegg's fault, but they should drop this company as a supplier.

2 out of 5 eggsAthenatech has some QA issues

Pros: Not sure yet. Read the cons. However, one pro is that NewEgg stands behind their customers and is taking care of the problem.

Cons: The case arrived in a nice box. In order words, there were no signs of external damage on the box. When I opened it up, the front of the case was cracked right down the middle.

Other Thoughts: The case is larger than I thought based on the pictures.

4 out of 5 eggsCool

Pros: Awesome look, I find most cases look like cheesy plastic, this one looks great, comes with a blue light bar integrated into the faceplate. Removable drive mounts (trays for hard drives, wierd swing assembly for 5.25" bay) very easy to work with considering the small size of the case.

Cons: The sheetmetal is a little thin, good for weight reduction but bad for durability- the power supply had bounced or something when shipping, and its corners made two little dimples in the sheetmetal that can be seen from outside. No quick disconnect for front panel lights/buttons, which sucks because you need to take the faceplate off to basically do anything inside the case.

Other Thoughts: Would be cool if you could mount a fan on the removable cover, which has a screened vent in it. I don't really consider that a "con" though.
