3 out of 5 eggsNot the best case in the world...

Pros: 400W PS.
2.5" SATA hot swap bays (uses 2 SATA signal cables and one SATA power connector for the two drive bays).
Not bad looking.

Cons: No docs (altho mostly pretty obvious)
No Speaker (my build had a display issue and w/o a speaker I didn't know if it was even booting into BIOS, had to dig out a speaker from another case).
Needed to remove PS to install 3.5" HD (minor hassle).
HD LED was broken, wire broke off and needed to be re-soldered.

Other Thoughts: This was my first microATX case and build, overall satisfied with the result. I didn't even try use the 5.25" drive bay door/cover - I don't mind the looks of an exposed drive and the door part looked like a possible trouble spot (the optical drive tray has to push thru the spring loaded door in the cover). The cover eject button did seem to line up with my drive button so it might have worked fine.

1 out of 5 eggsAdditions To My Earlier Review

Pros: See previous review.

Cons: Manufacturer completely lacks any understanding what makes a case user friendly.

Other Thoughts: I am at my wits end with this case, which has seriously put a damper on my dirt cheap HTPC build, so much so that I'm thinking of buying another case all together.

The power supply for this case is TOO BIG! Because it's too big I've already ruined a hard drive (snapped the pins off it due to lack of space for the wires which pushed into the drive and broke the pins off).

Now, I should have been more careful, but frankly I've built dozens of computers over the years (including Micro-ATX builds) and I've never before had that happen.

The best analogy I can think of is this: you have a small bedroom and you decide to take up most of the floorspace with a king size bed. Sure the bed it nice, but what the heck are you thinking in such a small area?

Sure the 400w power supply is nice, but for a Micro-ATX case -- THERE GOES ALL THE ROOM.

Also, the metal warping is getting even worse on the drive bay holder.

Don't buy this case, even if you are on a budget there are bette

2 out of 5 eggsClassic "You Get What You Pay For"

Pros: Cheap, looks nice on the outside, solid power supply for the price, relatively light, good port access on front panel. Newegg order processing and shipping was lighting fast as usual.

Cons: First, the case came with no documentation. I realize it's a cheap case and all, but a little diagram of the features or something would have been nice. Made it feel like a used unit instead of a new one.

Much more troubling is the cheap construction quality of the case. After I pulled the drive bay out it was so badly warped due to the cheapness of the metal that I had a heck of time wrangling it back in.

In addition, my mobo was shorting out against the case if I put the screws it in too tight. This caused me about 2 hours worth of agony as I one by one ruled out the board, power supply and processor. I finally took the board out and put it back on one screw at a time until I found the culprit and loosened it enough to prevent the short.

Also, the power supply is 400w, which is more than enough for most HTPC builds (which I assume this case is aimed at), as a result you'll end up with unused wires floating all over the place. Buy some zip ties if you don't have some o

Other Thoughts: Do yourself a favor and pay a little more for a higher quality case. This one will work fine if you're on a budget, but if you're like me and easily get annoyed when things have to be "wrangled" around inside your new build you'll quickly wish you had spent a bit more for a better designed case.

That said, I am fairly happy with my purchase. This build was planned as a dirt cheap HTPC, and for under $250 I was able to accomplish my mission.

However, if you are building a unit that you want to last and you are putting some serious time and effort into I would recommend not scrimping on a cheap case like this one.
