5 out of 5 eggs

Pros: Very nice for the price. Blends into the entertainment stand well. Included fans are nice and quiet. Reasonable amount of space.

Cons: None.

Other Thoughts: I'm very happy with this case, especially for what I paid for it.

3 out of 5 eggsgreat looking case with quality issues

Pros: Looks great in home theater audio tower/rack, smaller form factor

Cons: Power button was misaligned, had to force the power button mechanism to the left to align it with the case. Also the optical drive aluminum door had a small piece of metal protruding out, and very small white pressure cracks around the optical drive door. terrible manual

Other Thoughts: I bought this 1000b MicroATX and three of the 2000B ATX's. My plan was to transplant and move my firewall, server, HTPC and Windows 7 (work related) systems into an audio rack. The entire setup looks outstanding, as these cases arrived and unpacked...upon inspection every single case had its share of Quality Control problems. Either misaligned screw fittings, mishapen/warped drive cage, etc. I dont know who is assembling and shipping these cases, but unless you require a level quality that require every inch to be 99% perfect, avoid these cases, you get what you pay for. If you don't mind a little hands on repair or hardware modding, you'll love the way these look with your audio equipment.

3 out of 5 eggsLCD Module (Optional)

Pros: Cheep , seems solid

Cons: LCD Module (Optional) Judging form the picture it looks like it has the modual installed however it does not.

Hard case to work in cramped for space.

Riser plate where the cards screwdown is weird and catches on the screws some times

Thumb screws were installed by a giant so hard to remove.

Other Thoughts: In hindsite i would have spent a little more and bought a beter case

5 out of 5 eggsGreat HTPC Case

Pros: Looks nice and fits in perfectly with my entertainment center

All front panel components worked perfectly

Plenty of room for all of my hard drives (4 x 3.5" hard drive bays.

Full size ATX power supply works which was perfect for my setup

Cons: One of the back thumb screws didn't line up perfectly, no problem as there were a total of 3, two will hold it fine.

Other Thoughts: I haven't owned it for a long time, but i don't see

4 out of 5 eggs

Pros: It blends nicely with stereo receiver; had a friend see it and he didn't even know it was a computer. I feel it's pretty sturdy...the metal drive bays are definitely sturdy. I have bought mid towers in the past with around the same price tag, and this is NOT on the bottom of the quality list. I didn't have any trouble with the screws not lining up like some; there are only 5 screws I had to mess with anyway - 3 for the top lid and 2 for the bay drives. The magnetic accessory compartment on the front bezel is nice with plenty of ports hidden beneath.

Cons: DVD drive door doesn't close fully after DVD insertion - not a big deal, a light press and it closes shut. A possible fix would be slightly filing down the metal fin on the none spring side. The size also limits some graphics card and heat sink choices, so measuring is a must. My entertainment center is a Z-line type unit, so the case either extends a little too far in front or too far in back - dependent on placement (not a fault - just a consideration).

Other Thoughts: I bought the Gigabyte HD 6850 graphics card and the top heat pipes press against the top of the case. If you get a graphics card, make sure the top is flush with bracket portion of the card and you shouldn't have a problem. The case is very efficient with space. I chose this case over the other offerings from nMediaPC (looked at the 5000B and 6000B) based on the magnetic closing bezel (clips brake - magnets not so much), the size (micro atx and smaller), the power button (looks normal), and it blends in with other home theater equipment. I am pleased with the overall quality and don't regret my purchase...I would buy again.

4 out of 5 eggsNice case for the money

Pros: This is a very nice-looking case, and it fits in perfectly with the rest of my home entertainment center. When it arrived and I unboxed it, my coworkers had nothing but compliments on the design. The interior looks to be conducive to easily installing the mobo and other components. The optical drive bracket - which also holds the hard drives - comes out of the case to allow more work room, so one shouldn't have many issues getting everything installed.

Cons: The only gripe I have is the same as several others, which cost the case an egg. I had some trouble getting the finger screws out and found that the last hole in the cover does not line up with the hole in the case. This forces the screws to go in at an angle, which explains all the trouble we have had with getting the screws out. I left the offending screw out (one of three, so the cover is still secure), and haven't had any problems opening/closing since.

Other Thoughts: Part of my forthcoming HTPC/budget gaming build:

- nMEDIAPC 1000B Micro ATX case
- BIOSTAR TA880GU3+ AM3 motherboard
- AMD Phenom II X4 955 Black Edition Deneb 3.2GHz processor
- Rosewill Green Series 530W power supply
- XFX HD-677X-ZNLC Radeon HD 6770 video card
- G.SKILL Ripjaws Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) RAM
- Seagate Barracuda 1TB 7200 RPM SATA 6.0Gb/s hard drive
- ASUS DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS Black SATA 24X DVD burner
- Rosewill RNX-N180PCe wireless adapter

4 out of 5 eggsFine enough

Pros: The case is small and it looks really REALLY nice. It blends right it with a receiver and all that if you have these things.

Cons: So I used this to build an HTPC and honestly it's a fine case. But it did not properly accommodate an
ASUS ENGTS450 DC OC/DI/1GD5 GeForce GTS 450 (Fermi) 1GB 128-bit GDDR5 PCI Express 2.0 x16 HDCP Ready SLI Support Video Card

Plugging in the power to the video card makes it a little hard to close the case as the power connector takes up too much space.
I placed the cover on top, but did not screw the case back on in the top. I am fine with this as you can't tell anyways.

Other Thoughts: It took me forever to figure out that the difference between a 1000B and a 5000B is that the flip down cover for the input ports in the front of the PC is plastic/acrylic in the 5000B and aluminum in the 1000B.

4 out of 5 eggsgood for the price

Pros: Looks great in the rack. Lots of room for drives and MOBO.
Quiet fans.

Cons: Installing the optical drive was a pain. in order to get it to line up with the front panel door I had to use rubber grommets as spacers. Took away an egg for that.

Other Thoughts: At this price point you have to expect a few issues.

3 out of 5 eggsSo So

Pros: Sleek design, convenient front panel connections, very quiet, pretty easy installation except for optical drive

Cons: Overall poor build quality. Top cover and screws were really hard to remove, one of the 60mm fans needed some tapping to start up, the eject button for the DVD tray wasn't installed correctly at the factory so I had to put it in the hole myself, the DVD flip down cover doesn't flip back all the way so it sticks out a little bit. It looks like this is because the front bezel of the DVD player jams the spring up against the case. Only thing is that you need the front bezel on the drive so that the eject button on the case touches the button on the DVD player.

Other Thoughts: Would be nice if it came with the LCD screen. Probably would try another case before buying this one.

5 out of 5 eggsSAWEET!

Pros: -EVERYONE thinks it's a stereo reciever (which is exactly what I was going for)
-Pretty solid
-Subdued logos don't stand out

Cons: -I'll come back later if I think of any

Other Thoughts: It does NOT include the LCD panel thing. It's large, so make sure you measure. It's about the same size as a typical stereo receiver.
