3 out of 5 eggsNot impressed

Pros: Relatively cheap, looks like it belongs in the entertainment center. There is just enough space inside for what you need (ATX mobo, full size video card if you like - I don't have one, spare hard drives).

Cons: Cheap construction. Things don't exactly line up the way they're supposed to. One of the feet on the bottom didn't have threads for the screw to go into. After 2.5 years of owning it, I finally just hot glued it in place.

The cover for the front ports has bent strangely and is difficult to open. The over-sized power button is not a volume knob (not a huge deal, but that's what it looks like).

Other Thoughts: It's just decent.

5 out of 5 eggsLooks nice

Pros: This is a nice looking case. This is my first HTPC build and I was pleased with the way this worked out. I think it is a great case for the price. I installed the Pro-LCD panel and that works out nicely.

Cons: The quality control is just acceptable but then again, its inexpensive.

4 out of 5 eggsNice roomy case for HTPC

Pros: The drive flap has been updated to have a blu-ray logo instead of DVD. (Yea!!!) The fans are quiet. There is room for full-height cards. A must for my Hauppauge HVR-1600. Plenty of screws and ties for cable mgmt. Tons of ventalation on the lid. This case looks beautiful.

Cons: One of the fans in the back were DOA. Given all the negative reviews on the optional LCD, I wish they would have simply removed the window. The bottom panel that opens to reveal the media card readers sticks on both of mine.

Other Thoughts: Despite the fact that this is listed as a "Micro ATX" case, it requires a full-size ATX power supply. I bought a diablotek PHD380M and it is way too small to fit this case.

1 out of 5 eggsPoor Quality Control

Pros: appearance and potential for storage space.

Cons: Screws that hold top of case on were cross threaded at factory. Top Removal was very difficult and now the screws wont thread back in.
Also, Case was riveted poorly. Disc drive wont slide into case because of manufacturer oversight. Its about a Quarter inch undersized for a standard dvd disc drive.
Be very weary of buying this case.

Other Thoughts: you get what you pay for. Stick with Silverstone if you want a quality case.

3 out of 5 eggsAverage

Pros: Matches the rest of my media equipment in style and size. I liked that it had slots for 4 HDD. Does what it is supposed to do, no frills.

Cons: The build quality isn't as terrible as most would have you believe, HOWEVER, in the area where my power supply went one of the rivets was not fully seated and I had to finish the construction of the box myself.

Other Thoughts: Get yourself an IR receiver and use code on your 21972 on your Directv remote. It worked right out of the gate for me.

2 out of 5 eggsWay too sharp

Pros: Accepts full height cards for a HTPC.

Cons: Purchased this over a year ago. Recently moved some components between computers, and as I sit here still bleeding after a half hour felt compelled to write another review. I know cheap cases have sharp edges, but honestly this case isn't that cheap - at least price wise.
Does not have good positive airflow, so dust collects. I added the side fan, but that didn't help much. Was hard to find a fan thin enough to fit on the side.
With any decent length video card you can't pull the drive cage to replace a drive without removing the video card, because the drive must slide back an inch to be removed.
The front face of the PC started coming off after a couple months. This is due to the front cover being recessed and it is about 1mm too long so is always fighting its way out.
Did not have standoffs for all screws on the motherboard and didn't come with extra.
I purchased a SilverStone HTPC case that was on sale after this case and it was well worth the extra money - although I sometimes wish that one was full height.

3 out of 5 eggsGood and bad

Pros: Very attractive case, slim design that matches my other media equipment, but fits full size PCI cards. Plenty of room.

Cons: I'm knocking it 1 egg for the holes and expansion slots. As other viewers have stated many of the holes don't exactly match. The PCI expansion slots on the back didn't allow my card to be fully seated, I had to bend them a little to allow the card to be fully seated on the motherboard. The other egg is knocked because the cable that attaches the all-in-one card reader to the motherboard had a loose wire (5V) and doesn't work. I contacted the company a week ago and haven't heard back. No matter what I tried, I couldn't get my Blu-ray drive to line up regardless of trying the A or B position. It was either pushed up too far where the external button wouldn't move, or too far back where the external button couldn't make contact with the drive. The drive flap on the case wasn't big enough, and I'm not about to dremel a nice looking case and tear up plastic.

Other Thoughts: I'm not too concerned about the all-in-one card reader cable because I've never had a need for one yet I expect it to function if it is in the case. The holes are a nuisance but with a little effort everything can be attached. I won't knock the case Blu-ray bay door since I had the same issue with this Plextor drive on two other cases. Even with the negatives, I would still recommend this case. Just have the patience to work around the problems described in this post and others. The company does need to address the quality control issues since the misaligned holes seem to be a common problem.

3 out of 5 eggsDecent product by lacks precision

Pros: Has a nice appearance that blends with the rest of my enterainment system.

Cons: The precision of the case (as others have complained) is a problem. The cheesy slots for PCI cards is not flat or straight. My network card unseated itself twice so I had to bend the tab to make it stay. DVD drive wouldn't open until I discovered the button was pushed to tightly against the eject on my drive. Others reported the problem so perhaps an adjustment screw for how far the remote button pushes in would be a plus. Case is flimsy overall but probably to keep the weight down. There shoudl be some sort of depresion or tab in the top cover to allow you to grip it somehow to open.

Other Thoughts: I would recommend this case only to someone who has basic handy skills, pliers and a drill. Not for the unskilled.

4 out of 5 eggsnice case

Pros: This is a very nice and well built HTPC case for the money. It has plenty of room to work in and looks great with my other components.

Cons: My hard drive indicator light didn't work out of the box, but it's just one less annoying light to have to look at, so no big deal.

Other Thoughts: Hard to beat for the price.....
