4 out of 5 eggsGreat MPC Case

Pros: This is a great case. Lots of HD room. Holds 4 Standard HD's and 1 SSD Drive. The fans that came with this case are ultra quiet.

Cons: IF you happen to purchase the upgraded PRO-LCD for this case then there is a few problems.

After installing the PRO-LCD, the Hard Drive Rack pushes up against the PRO-LCD and makes contact with the circuit board so I had to cover the board with non-metallic tape. Also, you will need to use some force to get the rack in place for the screw holes to align.

The alignment issue also causes a problem if you install the Slim CD drive because the front of the drive now is not flush with the front of the case. To correct this problem, I used 1 screw to hold the drive in place since 3 out of 4 screw holes are static holes and 1 is a slot style. I also used double sided foam tape to help hold the slim CD drive in place.

One last thing, DO NOT USE THE CD SCREWS THAT COME WITH THIS CASE. They are too long and may damage the drive or at least prevent it from working correctly. Use shorter screws, hopefully some that come with the CD drive you order.

5 out of 5 eggsGood HTPC case

Pros: -Decent about of room for a cpu cooler. Avoid a cooler that utilizes the space about the memory slots.
-Room for a full size graphics card. And possibly enough room for an sli/crossfire setup, but you will lose 2 hdd slots after you cut the bracket.
-Wire management is not the worst. Some planning and splicing will give you enough room for adequate air flow. Remove those extra power supply rails!
-Lots of hdd space, however I'm using 1 4tb hss and 2 120gb ssds in raid with a dual 2.5 to 3.5 adapter so I only require the two hdd slots below the slim disc drive.

Cons: -Air flow is a challenge. Adding a large enough graphics card literally creates a barrier in the case. Proper placement of fans designated as inlet and exhaust can dramatically help. Also pay attention to large clusters of wires around the psu, as they will restrict air flow.
-The power button. The power button sticks when pushed in certain directions, and can cause the system to hard reset in post. Can be an issue for overclockers as a hard reset can reset your overclock settings and lead to... headaches.
-front display. More hardware must be purchased to get this to display anything other than the stock display. From what i've read, the software has a huge lack of support.
-test fitting. This is a very tight case. Test fitting and relacing components becomes a huge hassle as everything must be removed, and in a specific order.
-slim drive. I had issues aligning the slim drive, and getting it to seat flush.

Other Thoughts: Good sturdy case that will house all your HTPC needs.

4 out of 5 eggsPhenomenal cosmic powers...

Pros: Great depth for fitting inside my entertainment center, great amount of HDD space.

Cons: ...Itty bitty living space. There is not a ton of room for cables or extra stuff, which can make installation interesting.

4 out of 5 eggsLove everything but the power button

Pros: Just about everything is working perfectly on this. Front USB ports are great, there's plenty of space (even for a larger GPU -- fit an EVGA 560 TI without it bumping into the hard drive cage). It does take a little bit of strategic thinking to get the cable management in a good spot as my full ATX case and PSU are right up next to each other, but I've also got 2x 2.5" drives and 2x 3.5" drives humming away nicely in it without issue. It looks beautiful in my entertainment center--most people don't even realize it's a full-on gaming computer sitting right next to my stereo receiver. Really love that I can plug my Xbox 360 controllers into the two front USB ports and use it like a console when I'm in the mood. Good fans pre-installed on the left and right--they're pretty quiet. Seems like they spin up briefly when I flick the PSU on before I hit the power button, but I've experienced that on most any computer so I assume that's normal.

Cons: Disappointed in the build quality of the front Power button--seems to be getting stuck in place every now and then and I have to mess with it a bit to get it to pop back out. This, of course, requires shutting off the computer and the PSU so I can mess with it without turning it off and on again. I think my wife may be pushing the button too hard, but it SHOULD be able to take withstand slightly above average strength presses IMO.

Only other disappointment was the fake LCD, which, as one previous reviewer noted, just says Home Theater PC or something kind of randomly (I think it only displays when it's turned off...? I dunno. Sometimes it's there and sometimes it's not). I believe their intention is to get you to buy the accessory piece to program whatever you want that to say, but I guess I don't see any value in that.

Sometimes it's a little tricky to get the drive cage to sit in there just write with the Power/Reset/HDD LED/Front USB cables all protruding in the same space--just have to be careful not to squish them too much or risk bending a pin or something.

Other Thoughts: Overall, a great case. Good fans/airflow (I'm not OC'ing anything, so it's probably not a big deal). Works very well for a gaming HTPC.

5 out of 5 eggsAwesome HTPC Case

Pros: This case is pretty awesome! I had previously a Lian-li upright case, but I could not fit it sideways into my entertainment center. The computer previously had 5 regular hard drives; 1 was the operating system and the other 4 are a RAID5. I replaced one drive with an SSD and amazingly it all fits into this rather small case. The motherboard is a regular ATX (7 expansion slots) and the power supply is regular sized as well. There is even room after installation to hide some of your excess power supply wires, which is nice, but I would recommend a modular PSU. The hard drives fit in at different angles. Two are horizontal, two are vertical, but the horizontal ones seem too close together. You also have to rotate them so the 'chip' sides face each other. It's not the best for air flow, but you can position the fans next to all the drives which is nice. From what I can tell, the sides are intakes and the powersupply (if you rotate it that way) and the back of the case is for exhaust. You can choose to make the power supply suck in air from outside of the case by turning it 180 degrees. Finally, there is a 'hole' to install an IR receiver inside the case if you choose to.

I am not using a crazy video card or after market CPU heat sync, so I didn't have any issues with everything fitting. You may have to sacrifice two hard drives if you have a very long graphics card.

Cons: Does not come with an optical notebook drive.
The supplied fans are mediocre
The power LED is actually a fake display that says 'HOME THEATER PC'. To get a programmable/customizable one you have to shell out more $.
Fan filters would have been nice.

4 out of 5 eggsnMediaPC HTPC 2800B ATX Media Center /HTPC Case

Pros: Fits my entertainment system being only shy of 14 inches deep.. Matches my audio/video components without looking too much like a computer. Room for all my components. Easy case mods make it a nice multimedia system.

Cons: Cable management is a nightmare with the shallow depth and drive bays taking up much of the available space.

Other Thoughts: This case is fine for my use as I only have a single full length card. Because of it's shallow depth and the location of the 3.5 inch drive bays all but one PCI-E16 slot is limited to about 9 inches in length. The first PCI-E16 slot lies between the two sets of drive bays giving you the extra room for the full length card.
