all ironed ont
Pros: The case looks good if you like gloss black and the interior looks great once everything is installed. There is lots of room for drives inside and a cooler rmaster 212 plus cpu cooler just fit inside with 3/16 or 1/4" to spare after removing the top door fan. I have 7 fans in this case including the aftermarket coolermaster cpu fan and the motherboard temp. is averageing 31c and the cpu temp is average 32c in a house at conditioned at about 77f. the ouside case metal is ok thickness at about 22 or 24 gauge. This case has lots of places to insert fans and its easy to take apart the outside of case to work on the inside. it feels solid after everythig is together. The thumb screws to hold sides on are conviniant. The fans that came with case have a nice blue color.
Cons: This case gave me a serious headache. first off, right out of the box, it took me allmost a half hour to find and/ or remove all the loose screws inside the case. I was afraid if i dint get them all out, one could short out my motherboard down the road. It was the first nightmare. (couldn't them have simply put them in a plastic baggey?? How hard could that be??). problem 2- when i go the insert the brass motherboard standoffs, the case only came with 7. My atx form factor motherboard takes 10. I have extras around so i tried to use them but the thread size the was used on the case was not the same size as any extra brass standoffs i had. I have no idea what size this case used. So i sitting there chest deep in computer parts trying to put it all in this case and it dint come with enough brass standoffs. The case metal that the motherboard is sattached to is very thin metal that was actually buckling with a possoble chance of shorting out the back of the motherboard.
Other Thoughts: The ventalated metal that covers the expantion slots is not able to be used again after removed. The red plastic tooless things for video card do not hold it very tight but it does have screw holes. The most noticeable thing about the case is there was only like 1/4" space in the back for cable management which made it very hard to put cables back there. The wires for the front buttons and usb stay attached to the front panel permanently when you remove panel. The engineer who thought of that should be fired. That thin, buckling metal that the motherboard is attached too, creating a possoble short on my $270 motherboard is scary and in-exusable. Overall, This case works on a serious budget but i would never buy another.
