5 out of 5 eggsSplendid Top To Bottom

Pros: Fantastic workmanship--feels solidly built right out of the box. Not the biggest full tower but plenty of room to work in. Best hard drive bays in the business--solid metal with rubber groomets that snap solidly into place. Excellent cooling performance as well. Liquid cooling on tap as well--my Corsair H105 fit well with plenty of clearance. Replaced a Corsair 900D--and this is the better case. You will not find better fit and finish in a case. Do not be put off the the relatively low price--a fantastic enclosure at ANY price. I'm running an ASUS Z97-WS with GTX780, Areca RAID controller and 7 hard drives. The install was easy and cooling performance bests the 900D.

Cons: As this would be a great case for the first time builder the documentation, though better than most, could be a bit more detailed. Moved the top-mounted fan to the front and found the included screws a bit short which made installing the fan more challenging than it should have been.

Other Thoughts: I've been building systems for over 13 years and this case is an absolute gem. Don't be put off by the price--easily bests cases costing twice as much. Fit and finish is top-notch and you will not be hunting down buzzes and other noises with this case. If you are tired of gimmicky "tool-free" designs this is the case for you. The very definition of common sense design.

4 out of 5 eggsArc XL after 6 months

Pros: Large- When I say its large, I mean this case is gigantic. I had Antec 1200 before this, and didn't expect Arc XL to be larger, but it is.

Excellent dust filters- I like how well filters on this case work, I used to clean my Antec 1200 every week, this case can be cleaned every 2-3 months and airflow is still very good.

Smoked window- awesome looking tinted window makes internal components look really good, especially with some white lighting on the inside of the case.

Cons: Fans- This is why I decided to give this case 4 eggs instead of 5, stock fans look good, but they are horrible, they create small amount of airflow which would be okay since they are "silent" except there not. After few days 2 out of 3 fans started making grinding noise so I had to replace them, later third fan started making the same noise intermittently. So be prepared to replace stock fans.

Cable management spacing- considering how large this case is, its disappointing that spacing behind motherboard tray for cable management is limited, its not horrible, but definitely has to be improved.

Other Thoughts: Overall this is a really good case considering the price, with stock fans replaced and every fan spot filled this case cost me ~$200 which is great value considering flexibility and room this case offers.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Case and support

Pros: Easy mounting and very good positioning for holes to hide wires.

Cons: Easily damaged in shipping.

Other Thoughts: Colled MFR when I recieved the case with some broken pins that secure the front pannel. Company was quick to take care of it and correct my issue.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat Big Case

Pros: The case is pretty huge, allowing for many configurations and choices. The two internal four-bay hard drive mounting cages are able to be repositioned, and many choices of fan placement and sizes are accommodated. Combining these with the two SSD slots on the flip side of the motherboard panel, and the four 5.25 bays at the front/top make enough room for most any reasonable build, drive-wise.

Cable management is really made easy with lots of provided grommets and cable ties conveniently provided. Fractal Design also provides a generous batch of various screws.

Part of good heat management in a workstation is space - allowing room for components to breathe and air to flow around them. With a case of this size, that's made a non-issue, especially considering how many fans you can use to encircle the case. I put a H100i on the processor, and assembled the radiator and its fans (I swapped out the included fans for a couple of 120mm Noctua models) to the roof. I didn't add any additional fans on the opposite side for push-pull (it would be tight), but the temperature readout in Corsair Link tells me I don't need to worry about it. I have yet to see the Intel i74930k get above 50ºC under load. I'm pretty sure I'm not going to need to clean the bottom air filter by the power supply for quite some time - the fan almost never runs (Corsair AX1200i).

I believe I'll keep this case for a long time. It's really fantastic, and looks the part, too.

Cons: The complaints I have are pretty minor, so I'm not deducting any eggs. The front air grill is plastic, and I sort of wish it was metal. Perhaps the worst thing for me is that the PCI slot screws and holders are a little bit loose. It seems that I can't really get a couple of my components to lock down perfectly tight in those. But, they are firm enough for a stationary machine.

Other Thoughts: Stylistically, it's simple, with clean lines and everything being basically black. The smoked glass side panel mutes the LED shenanigans from internal components, so it doesn't scream "nerd." That's my style, too - stealth nerd!

5 out of 5 eggsRoom to grow

Pros: This case is very versatile, very flexible for water cooling if that is what you want. I use a Phanteks PH-TC14PE 140mm with room to spare. The fans it comes with actually do a good job and are not in the least noisy, I can't hear them. I like the easy to remove/clean filters. What else can I say other than this is a real nice well built case.

Cons: Well, they could have shifted everything down a bit including the PSU and made room for a massive thick 360 mm Rad. But for me I think that is a none issue because so far I am a happy air cooler.

Other Thoughts: Cable routing behind MOBO does require a small bit of thought because of room. But not real hard to do. The grommets are real nice. It is a large heave case but so very easy to work with. I am very much a happy camper.

5 out of 5 eggsFantastic For the Money

Pros: I did a lot of searching and research before purchasing this case for my first computer build. What ultimately led me to purchase this particular case was the amount of features it offered for a decent price. I picked this case up for $104.99 shipped.

Pros for this case are follows:
-Large, and i mean larger. I didn't anticipate actually how big this really is. If you are looking to purchase it, make sure you have the room.
-The 3 fans it comes with are very quiet and they sill move good amounts of air.
-Tons of room on the inside, my board, cooler and psu look small in the case lol.
-Build quality is top notch, very solid and heavy.
-Multiple spots for water cooling. I have a custom open loop set up and this case was great for radiator placement.
-It has filters, no one like a dusty computer
-Tons of room for cable management
-Fan controller actually does something unlike the one on my brothers antec case.
-Very simplistic looks, would look great in any room.
-Price, as mentioned earlier, for the price i paid it was a steal. What till it goes on sale and save a bit of money.
-Removable hdd cages, you are able to remove all the hdd cages if you want. It has provisions for solid states on the back, which i am sure a 2.5" drive would fit in as well.
-The box of screws it gives you is plentiful and well marked.
-The cable management grommets are much better rubber than my brother antec. His are floppy and will fall out, the ones on this case are made of firm rubber and feel better made.

Cons: The case doesn't really have tons of cons but just some weird quirks.

-You cant have the bottom hdd cage bolted to the front of the cage and a fan on the front in front of the cage. You have to take the two screws that hold the bottom hdd cage off to install the fan.
-The 5.25" doesn't have the tool less install feature other cases do. This really isn't a major con, but i could see some seeing that way.
-The psu sits on two little pegs on the front but none on the back. Made installing it a little weird.
-The front dust shield can rattle.
-The headphone port is on the top.
-Power button is easily pushed

That's about it.

Other Thoughts: If you wait till it goes on sale for $104.99 with free shipping, it really is a no brainier. This case has very few flaws and so many pros.

5 out of 5 eggsGreat

Great looking and Great flow
Good airflow
3 good dust filters
3 good 140mm fans
All black interior

Cons: The side panel is darker than I thought it would be but I'm not concerned about it, it looks great when you can see the components though.
So really None?

Other Thoughts: Great looking case, I am in love with the look and build quality. The case is big enough for anything I would want, I came from a NZXT Source 210 and it's hilarious how much better this thing is.

5 out of 5 eggsAmazing Case

Pros: -Very large and spacious on the inside
-Included 3 fan controller
-Dust filters on every opening
-Configurable hard drive bays with metal sleds
-Lots of anti-vibration mounts
-Solidly built, all metal frame with quality plastic accents
-Tons of fan and radiator configurations available
-Wire management is clean and easy
-Fits Larger motherboards
-Very clean aesthetic
-Low cost

Cons: -Just barely fits on my desk
-Can't really think of any others

Other Thoughts: This case is probably the best case I've ever seen or owned for the price. It's got a solid build and the overall craftsmanship is outstanding. There's probably thirty different ways to mount any number of radiators in this case. It provides great airflow while still remaining quiet. For myself I have two intake 140mm Fans (the ones included with the case) one 140mm exhaust (came with case) and two 120mm fans pushing through my H100i. Even with the fans set to the highest setting the case remained very quiet, on top of this even when the fans are on their lowest setting the temperatures of my FX-8350 @4.9 Ghz dropped ~5c just moving my build from my old case to this case. the amount of space in the case (haha rhyme) is amazing. It makes for easy assembly inside the case. The amount of hardware included for mounting any number of things is obscene and you'll most likely never need more than is provided. My only gripe is I was missing one anti-vibration hard drive mount (out of the probably 40 included) yet this was no problem because I had removed the top HDD bay to open up space for airflow. Overall, I'd recommend this case to anyone who has the space for it as for me it has met and exceeded everything I needed from my new case.
(build for reference)
CPU: AMD FX-8350 @4.9 Ghz
CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i
Motherboard: Asus M5a99X Evo R2.0
RAM: 16GB (4x4) Corsair Vengeance
SSD: Adata SX900 256GB
HDD: Toshiba 2TB
PSU: Corsair TX850M

5 out of 5 eggsThis Case is a HOSS

Pros: This case is amazing. Yes, it is large. But that is fantastic for cable management. The 3.5" drive bays all have vibration-dampening rubber rings, there are SSD bays under (behind?) the motherboard plate, cable management is a breeze. This case easily fits my NZXT Kraken X60 and could probably fit another radiator in the front if I ever put in a custom cooling loop. This case is very solid, feels very solid, and comes with a great amount of hardware.

The motherboard tray also has a nice hole where the processor is, so you don't have to attach fans/cooling to the motherboard before you mount it, as in some other cases.

Cons: The case is LARGE. If this is the first full-tower build you've made, you'll be surprised by how large it is. But in my opinion this isn't a bad thing. Once you get this thing going and get some lights inside, it's amazing. Also note that the window isn't perfectly clear, it's smoked.

The only other con I can think of is that the places to put motherboard standoffs aren't labeled, so you will have to sort of hold the motherboard in there for a second to see where the screws go. This case (I believe) will fit an extended ATX motherboard, so be sure to line up your standoffs correctly. In my opinion, this is not a big deal at all. Maybe it will tick you off, who knows.

Other Thoughts: Overall I am very glad I chose this case. There are fancier ones, but this one is sleek, functional, and feels very solid. I haven't exactly thrown it around to test it, (and I don't plan to) but it's very sturdy and well built. Airflow is very good as well, and plenty of places to add fans.
