5 out of 5 eggsGreat case, Bought two

Pros: this case looks really nice. I went from a full tower to a mid size, and i got to say, mid size is the way to go. I actually sold a pc on local listings that had this case, and i sold it for a really good price. It comes with two decently sized fans, and they seem to be doing great, i did add one extra fan to the case, but that was just because i had it.

Building my second computer using this same case. looking through all the other cases, they just didn't look as clean and weren't setup as good as this one is. The lights are nice, i got the green one, and its not super bright and annoying, it just has a nice soft glow. I definitely recommend this ATX case!

Cons: -The side panel looks great, But i always find there there is room for a fan there, even with the window intact, so why not put one there (note im not an airflow expert ).

-Removing the metal from the rear slots when putting in videocard/soundcard, or something, was somewhat of a pain. It may have been my particular case though.

Other Thoughts: Great sized, great looking case, for a good price, do it.

3 out of 5 eggsQuiet, good looking, cheaply made

Pros: It's a good looking affordable case that is very quiet with its two included fans. Cable management seems fair.

Cons: Very thin feeling, you can tell that it is cheap plastic. The back fan vent on mine was bent in when I got it but it is as easy to pull it as it is to dent it. This is a great case for a "just cause" computer. I wouldn't recommend it as a case for gaming because of the ventilation. It does come with two fans BUT it can only support the two fans, no other fans. This is huge if you plan on gaming (gaming rigs usually give off a lot of heat)

Other Thoughts: Overall not a bad looking case and really if you were just going to build a computer that used a low voltage APU and not a graphics card then this wouldn't be a bad case. I knocked off 2 eggs because of the poor ventilation and cheap plastic build

4 out of 5 eggsNot the best but good

Pros: Lots of room, Clearly marked cables and wires.

Cons: USB3.0 connector doesn't connect to anything. The wires and cables were not hidden already and caused an issue while installing DVD drives. The bottom mounted Power supply doesn't allow adequate cooling on carpets. (had to cut a piece of the shipping box to put under the tower) or turn it upside down.

Other Thoughts: Not a bad case

4 out of 5 eggsNot a bad case

Pros: Has external ports for eSata, USB 2 and USB 3.
It was on sale CHEAP and fit my budget.
Seems to actually have been made fairly well.
Light. VERY light case.
Plenty of space inside.
Side panels are held on by thumbscrews.
The motherboard back plate has some nice holes along the side and bottom for wire routing.
It WILL fit a CM Hyper 212 EVO

Cons: Not enough space for fans, so probably not the best bet for a system that requires a lot of fans for high airflow. 1 up front and 1 in the rear.
The fans it comes with are not the best. Replace them asap.
Front fan is smoked colored with a Green LED, while the rear fan is just green. No LED. Whats the point in having a huge side window if you're not going to have the rear fan with a standard LED? Just can't see anything inside without it.
Also the tool-less drive bays didn't work for me. The green clamps just didn't secure my DVD drive well enough. But then again isn't this pretty much the case with almost every case featuring these tool less clamps? I just removed the clamp and used screws so it wasn't enough to deduct any eggs or anything.
Getting the motherboard i/o plate in was a little tough.
Dealing with the retention plate for the rear expansion bays is awkward. The metal there was cut and rolled up (this also caused the above motherboard plate issue) and is actually pretty rough. I got scratched up a little bit on the edges of it. On top of that the cover clips on over the top and bottom edges and makes it kind of awkward when you're trying to screw everything in.

Other Thoughts: I bought this case a couple of weeks ago and it was on sale for Thirty five and had a ten dollar rebate with it. I was looking for a second case to throw some spare parts into to put a PC together for someone. Orginally I was going to by myself a new case and throw the parts into my old case but this one popped up on sale and I just happened to have the cash on hand so I bought it.

This is one purchase I certainly couldn't regret, though I could recommend at least 1 improvement in the design like being able to mount fans in the top of the case. That would have been nice and would go a long way to increase airflow inside this case.

It has everything I needed. USB 2 and 3 ports, and eSata on the case. Also the black and green design will appeal to people who loves the color green, which suits the person I am giving this case to.

I've seen some reviews on here saying that the case is poorly made. I have to disagree. It is very light, but the quality of it is just fine. It's not the densest, heaviest case you will find but as long as you're not gonna play destruction derby with it it should be fine. The plastic front panel isn't so bad either. It seems to look cheaper than it actually is.

I've worked with a few PC cases before and this one was actually a joy to work with (aside from being scratched up a little bit). The quality of the materials made the case very light (about 6.5 lbs) without making it feel too flimsy. It made it very easy to move and rotate as needed. I'm used to working with much heavier cases (My personal PC case weighs about 35 lbs).
The power supply is mounted on the bottom and the case is pretty roomy. It was very easy to route all my cables exactly where I wanted them to go and everything fit so well.
I tested it to see if it fit a 212 EVO, though I currently have a Artic Freezer 7 Pro in there. Just a heads up: If you're looking do an an AMD build with this case the AF7P is not the best choice. AF7P can only mount with fan vertical on an AMD board and the case has no vents or fans on the top so hot air can't escape so easily.

In general I do really like this case. It held up ok for a week until the replacement fans I ordered came in, and it looks pretty slick lit up with Green LEDs from the front and back.

I'd recommend this case.

4 out of 5 eggsGood looking case.

Pros: This case looks awesome. And the build quality actually feels pretty good. I especially like how the inside is also black and the acrylic is tinted. It really adds to the look. Feels to be of decent build quality; not much plastic to break. The SD card reader is handy. 4 front USB ports (2x USB2 and another 2x USB3). Thumbscrews for the panels make it easy to open up.

Cons: If you install an optical drive it looks a little weird as the covers are angled, but the drive is obviously flat. Not immediately obvious how to remove the covers. Still can't figure out the tool-less optical system (also feels very cheap), so I just S C R E W E D it in. The expansion slot system is also a little weird (the screws are on the outside of the case)

Other Thoughts: The verb for inserting screws is one that comes up fairly frequently in PC building, take note newegg.

1 out of 5 eggsCheap

Pros: USB 3.0 front, card reader on front.

Cons: Cheap beyond belief. Very flimsy metal, very cheap plastic.
The window only has pieces of metal you bend over to keep it in place.
Intake and exhaust fans were set up backwards had to turn them around.
The front panel is very hard to take off. It has clips that you have to use needle nose pliers to squeeze and push out. The plastic is so cheap that it would be very easy to break. There is a filter on the front that you have to take the entire front panel off to get at.
The no tool Optical drive clips are a joke. It was very loose and I just pulled them out and used screws. Also it has three bays for the optical port, but you can't use the very top one because the card reader/usb group takes up that spot.
Cable management is a joke. It was nice to have the pooched out sides so I could use that space for cables.
The space for my graphics card was a hair too small and I could not plug in my HDMI without having to take a pair of pliers and make the opening bigger. This is the only time that I was happy that the metal was flimsy.
The place where you screw in your PCI and PCIE cards had this inexplicable metal cover that took me about 5 minutes of head scratching before I figured out why my cards wouldn't fit. I had to pull the thing entirely off because it would have taken way more work than it's worth to get it back on.
Oh and did I say that this thing was cheap?

Other Thoughts: This is only for a budget build. If you're building an expensive gaming rig, then shell out the extra money for a quality case. You will not regret it.

1 out of 5 eggsBad Case

Pros: Makes a nice looking case

Cons: Cheap metal, shipped from USA - long shipping time, manufacturer flaked out on my request for replacement reset switch - malfunctioning, rather loud fans, screws/hand screws are threaded improperly and strip, ect

Other Thoughts: Spend the extra 20$ and get something quality

4 out of 5 eggsYou Get What You Pay For

Pros: The Two 3.0 USB Ports, a dual function power button. This button not only lights up when the system is on, but is also has a red LED to indicate HDD activity. This unit also comes equipped with a reset button. It would have been nice for Newegg to state these features in their description.

The case design. I found the skeleton to be sturdy, but it was the shell that appeared flimsy. If you read the Overview, it states that this case is Radiation protection design, "Safe and Environmental". This means that the material can easily be broken down and recycled.

Cons: Locking mechanism for the 5.25 drives. The section for 3.5 HDD are not screw less, I had to use screws. My power supply fan was off center with the opening on the bottom of the case. Instead, I turned my power supply upside down, and this has added additional ventilation to the case, since there are no vents on the side panel.

Other Thoughts: This is a case that with not withstand harsh treatment.

2 out of 5 eggsdelivery bummed me out

Pros: Exactly the cheap case i was looking for

Cons: Super bummed about delivery consistency. The first delivery service delivered the parts 3 days before the second delivered the case. It was in thier wherehouse an hour and a half away from me at 10:00 am to 4:40 am the next day, then sat in another wharehouse 20 minutes from my front door for three days. not really mad about how long it took, just that they were spaced so far apart

Other Thoughts: Would have given it a 4 if not for the delivery problem. Going to mod the case anyway so the bad fans and poor ventilation dont bother me much

3 out of 5 eggsI wouldn't get it if you age going for an $800 PC

Pros: This case can hold all you components? I guess that's a pro. It looks nice and has a side window.

Cons: This case comes with 2 fans. However you cannot install any other fans, at all. The ones it has in it are less than $5 too, meaning they suck pretty bad. The case also weighs less than 6 pounds, and it's pretty flimsy. If you're going for an APU build or maybe a low-end card build, good case. Any other situation, go with something better. I went with the Rosewill Challenger case and it keeps my gtx 660 and fx 6300 super cool. This case wouldn't be able to do that if it tried it's hardest.
