Was wondering if this case had power and hdd activity LED's?

Power LED is on the left circle widget around the power switch. The HDD activity LED is on the left around the reset switch. The LEDs are white. While this all sounds a bit odd these days the effect isn't bad. It is a nice, clean design and I intend to keep this case for a long while.

Question 2

Will this accept a normal ATX power supply? If so, I have a few kicking around.

Yes as far as i know it does, you can look at the picture that shows the back of the case and see. I used it for a while and just picked out a power supply i had lying around and never had a problem with it.

How is this case for db levels on stock fans? ie. quiet, moderate, loud Thanks

Surprisingly. The stock fan on the case is very quiet. In anticipation of the stock fan being moderately loud, I bought two COUGAR CF-V12HB Vortex Hydro-Dynamic-Bearing (Fluid) 300,000 Hours 12CM Silent Cooling Fans as replacement off the 1 stock fan. Turns out that the stock fan is the same as the replacement fans in terms of noise. Overall I think I would save the money up front and only buy additional fans if cooling is a concern. Question 4

What would be a good power supply to use with this case?  The MB is a Asus H87M-Plus.

This case will take any ATX power supply. I would definitely recommend a modular PSU if you can afford it. This case doesn't have a lot of extra room inside of it and I had a hard time keeping the extra power cables out of the way.

What size cpu cooler can be used with this case?

I suspect any cooler that will fit in a standard ATX case will be fine here. The dimensional restriction would be in the front-to-back direction as that is the smallest over all. The case is plenty wide for most air cooling solutions I am aware of and I use a Coolermaster heat-pipe air cooling solution myself (I can't remember the name of the thing). Huge air coolers for overclocking it is not but all of these stick upward from the mainboard rather than across them. The back of the case does not have the room for double fan liquid coolers if that is what you have in mind.

The description says" supports 2.5" SSD installation at bottom cover". Can anyone explain what that means?

Essentially, the mounting point for a 2.5" size drive is on the "floor" of the case, directly underneath where the 3.5" drives are mounted.

There are 4 small raised bumps where the screw holes can be inserted from the bottom of the case and screw into the underneath of the drive. If you look at the picture depicting the side of the case with the panel removed, imagine the drive being mounted to the floor of the case.

It works, but one issue is that most sata data and power connectors have a 90 degree turn. If your cables are like this, you might not be able to mount the drive. I had a 4 small rubber spacers from a past case that I used to provide some clearance between the drive and the case so the sata cables had some room to connect.

Has anyone tried to use a Mini ITX in here? I know it's not listed but wonder if it will fit good or is it not worth the try?

Looks like mini itx shares the same mounting spots as micro atx, used a mini atx/1300w psu/2 gfx card, very snug case, glad i sold it, wouldn't want to upgrade parts in that beast

Is this the same as the Spike with a different front panel?

I would like to say I knew the answer to your question, but I don't, and I can't seem to find the Spike case you are asking about. I can say that this Cougar case is a nice case, for a cheap case. It is lighter duty metal of course, but considering the price, I cannot complain. Best of luck!

Would this case be able to fit a corsair h55?

Maybe if the hoses stay inside the case. There are no holes for the cooling hoses to reach the outside of the case. I guess you could cut the holes but this case has a lot of ventilation so it might not need it anyway.
