does a MSI 760GMA-P34(FX) fit inside this?

An  MSI 760GMA-P34(FX) motherboard is listed as a (Micro ATX) and should be able to fit inside this case with out issue. I was able to fit an older standard ATX motherboard just fine. However if it was any Larger It would not have fit. (Asus P4G8X-Deluxe /12 in x 9.6 in (30.5 cm x 24.5 cm) So, if your motherboard is any larger than 12 in x 9.6 in. Then I would not recommend this case. Also If you have a video card that is longer than 8 inches I would also not recommend this case. I originally attempted to stuff a core2 duo motherboard with a Nvidia 9800gtx+ inside this case, however the video card would not fit AT ALL because its was way to long and has power connectors on the side that wont clear the case drive bays. I ultimately used this case for a pentium 4 retro gamer rig with the motherboard mentioned above and an Nvidia 7800GS AGP video card. Hope this info is helpful.

does the evga 500w Power Supply fit inside this case?

I bought this case back in early 2015.  It is an awesome inexpensive case that does very well and looks cool. The fans run very quiet and do not absorb much air. This is dependent on the motherboard you get to. The following power supply listed below is the one that I bought and have in mine.  As long as it is a standard ATX power supply, it should fit.

So this may be a dumb question, but can a micro ATX motherboard fit in this case and would the ports look normal and such?

Yes it will. There's a metal piece that is snapped into the back side of the case that the motherboard's ports stick out of. This is called a shield. It does not come with the computer case, but it is packaged together with a new motherboard. So as long as you buy a new motherboard, then it will look normal. If you are transferring a used motherboard then be sure to also grab the shield off the old case.

does the power supply have 24 pin power connector? how many sata power connectors are there? thanks

I bought this case but I didn't buy the optional power supply.  Just a suggestion,  since the power supply is the most important part of any system buy a nice power supply with extra power capabilities so you upgrade your rig down the road. Read some power supply reviews and based on your budget make an educated decision on your purchase.

will an rx 480 8gb version fit in this case?

Yes it would, however just barely and you would have to squeeze every last bit of space in there for the cords and such. This case is not meant as a gaming case. Its more of a business class type case. If your putting something that large in there I would go with a full size gaming case.

What is the wattage? It only says standard atx ps2 power supply.

It truly depends on how you want to build your computer. If want a high power computer that handles much processing abilities, then you need to read up on specifications. When I bought this, it did not come with a power supply. I bought a separate EVGA 100-W1-0430-KR 430W ATX12V/EPS12V 80 PLUS Certified Active PFC Continuous Power Supply Intel 4th Gen CPU Ready. I believe it means you can use any standard power supply that has the ATX PS2 capability. My power supply works just fine, but not for heavy duty graphics cards. Hope this helps.

Would a R7 370 Graphics card fit in this?

It depends on the R7 370 and how many fans it has. A unit that has three fans would most likely not fit but a unit with two would fit this case. It also depends on the type of board you use and where the PCI slots line up on the board. if it is a single PCI mini ATX board then the card will most likely run into the bays on the case so use a micro atx card to place the card lower in the case. Just remember it really depends on the card though.

how big of a graphics card does it fit?

I Don't have the specs of my graphics card, but I believe what I have in there now is a sapphire radeon r9 290. It was too small, but if you only have one or two hard drives in there you can physically adjust the case where it doesn't fit. By physically adjust I mean carefully bend. The case looks good and has pretty good flow, but its space is very limited and the usb ports on the front did not work very well at purchase, which was a review. I had seen. Sorry if that's not the answer you were looking for!

Kinda a dumb question here, but as a newbie to this site i was wondering how can you select optional components?  (Such as Power Supply)

You need to first see how much power that your motherboard is capable of handling before selecting a power supply. This is first step in building a computer in my opinion. This case has limited space for hard drives and believe it could of been done better. Overall price is good for this. My build has a 430W Power Supply, but I made sure that was in the range for my motherboard that I chose for it. If need any more help, let me know.

I read a 12x9.6 board will fit ,but is that with psu in too? and is psu mount top or bottom?

Yes. A 12x9.6 inch motherboard will fit with a PSU. This case has a TOP mount for the power supply. The PSU I am currently using in this case is a LOGISYS Computer PS575XBK 575W ATX12V SLI Ready Power Supply. 
The motherboard I am using is a 12x9.6" Pentium 4 Asus P4G8X Deluxe. The video card is an NVIDIA 7800GS AGP. Everything mentioned above fits just fine along with 2x 120mm red LED fans mounted in the side panel. In my experience with this case the real limiting factor will be your choice of video cards. The NVIDIA 7800gs I have is 8 1/2 x 4 inches. However if your video card is longer than 10" you will start to run into clearance problems. My original plans for this case was for a completely different system that included a (10.5 x 4.376) Nvidia 9800 GTX+ and it would NOT fit in this case.
